Read in March, 2008
This is a book I read around March. The reason I am discussing it is beacause there are many volumes of this book, but this is the first. I recently finished the 5th Tokyo Mew Mew book, and soon I will continue on to the 6th volume. This book is a Japanese style comic. It is action/Sci-Fi, and extremely easy to read. Even though it was written in Japan, it has been translated in English. I believe you can find these books at the HMS library for all of my school mates out there, but I have been b...more

I love Tokyo Mew Mew! The only problem with the book series is that it doesn't take long enough to read. -_- I like the characters and the cute design, but I'm just a girly girl so I guess that doesn't count.

It was good manga, absolutely. It was so hard to put down after I picked it up and if I did put it down I picked it up five minutes later. Anyway in the first one you get introduced to three of the person-endangered species characters. Obviously, the main character is a cat, which at first made her my favorite character, but I actually like the girl who is the last to be introduced, I already forgot her name. If anybody wants to know, the category is "Action". That kind of stuff also d...more

This was the first manga I ever read, and it's a great introduction to shojo. Ichigo (Japanese for Strawberry) is a normal schoolgirl out on a date to a museum, when suddenly an earthquake happens and she faints. When Ichigo comes to, she has become strangely catlike...filled with humor, good art, and a simple but great storyline, Tokyo Mew Mew is perfect for a beginning manga reader.

An accident at a museum endows 11-year old Ichigo [Strawberry, lawl] Momomiya with the DNA of wildcats. Her new powers are put to the use when she is asked to join a secret group and is given the task of protecting the Earth from an unseen enemy.

This is one of the first series I've read. It used to be my favorite, but I quickly grew out of it. Probably the fact that it was +10 years.

This entire series is a lot of fun. An quick, easy, enjoyable read about a group of middle schooled aged girls who suddenly (I wont tell you how =) become superheros!
I would recommend it for girls of all ages.

This is a very good book if you are just starting to read manga. It was the first manga I had read. It's a love story about a girl named Ichigo.

I read this series in middle school, but I think it might have been too elementary even then.
