A Streetcar Named Desire

Was a short read as expected, I had pretty much no idea what the plot was about or any of the characters before reading it, but I had heard about this play a lot. I found it a little bit underwhelming, given that I was expecting it to be something that it wasn't. I liked the story overall, but I think it would have been better if I had watched it instead of read it. Will take some time later to think about the themes and motifs later, but mostly it just stuck out to me as "just a good story" instead of seeing anything profound hidden behind that story. While I do like the fact that even a play as old as this has themes surrounding mental health (to some extent), they did not do much with it. Again, I think it would felt better to watch it as a play/movie rather than reading lines. Had I read it on a different sort of day, with a different type of vibe, I might have liked it better.
