The battle for Doomherald is over, for now. The forces of light stand victorious, and Kuma and Lotus have been reunited. However, the capital city is but one point of success that has been freed in the sea of war that is engulfing Siege. They and their allies must now turn to Fang, the torn city that was a source for so much grief. In the struggle to free it, they will come across a secret that has been well kept for centuries, one that bespeaks untold treasures left behind by the ancient Hero of Kem, Shai. If they can find these treasures, then they may just have the key they need to stop the war and bring a return to peace. But there’s a catch—the goodly allies aren’t the only ones who know of these treasures, and it will mean a race to claim them. On top of all this, there are new horrors stalking the land, beasts of a forgotten time that have been liberated from their eons-old imprisonment. For Zemose’s power is growing . . .
W. A. Johnson was born and raised in northern Utah, where she resides to this day. Some of her favorite pastimes include tending to her garden, exploring the inspiring land she calls home, and delighting in the geeky pleasure of creating her own worlds, both through her writing and her drawing.
She began writing as a serious hobby in 2003, taking a few meager hand-written pages and transferring them onto her computer. These pages developed into the first chapters of Wings of Fate, her debut self-published novel, and her adventures ran wild from that point on.
She chose to start writing her own stories not only as a form of entertainment for herself, but in hopes that others would enjoy books with cleaner standards. She is deeply thrilled and honored by the wonderful fan base that has grown around her works and hopes to share many more stories in the years to come.
