NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.
Her first novel, Their Virgin Captive: Masters of Ménage, Book 1, was a collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Shayla Black. There are five more books available in the series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary. The next book in the series, Their Virgin Mistress, is releasing this April.
In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. There are eight full-length novels and four novellas available now, with more coming in 2015.
In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five are available now, with Ripper, a spin-off to the series, coming in 2015.
I have not read all of these stories yet, and I can't wait to read them all. Here are the reviews for ones I have read. ~Blackmail by Amelia Wilde~ Blackmail has taken us into the swanky boardroom of corporate America, then dragged us kicking and screaming through the sad life of a young woman trying to protect her siblings, and tossed us into the pits of underground fighting. The reader was dragged yelling and screaming on the proverbial roller coaster. It was emotionally exhausting, thoroughly depleting me of my facilities, but at times sweet, loving and caring. Amelia Wilde you have just shattered my heart 💔❤️🩹 Will and Bristol’s story has broken me right now! 6 beautiful gut wrenching stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Total book hangover right now! ~One for the Money by Skye Warren~ Absolutely, positively, spectacular!! Finn and Eva’s story was built on a fake relationship that became a budding and beautiful friendship, only to be shattered by choices made in the heat of the moment. One For The Money is a story of love between two people that have overwhelming family and life responsibilities, both of them not looking for forever, but if the circumstances were different, they would be perfect for each other. I can’t wait for Two For The Show ❤️ ~Hard Code by Misha Bell~ I was curious about this story, because I love this author's other books so much, and took a chance on this genre with her. And I am SO glad I did. This book was steamy, the storyline was fabulous, and I have not laughed so hard in a long time reading a book. There was sarcastic wit, interesting and well developed characters, but most of the scenes were very, very hot and adventurous. I highly recommend this read!
-Most Eligible Batchelor (5 Stars) Well if you enjoy quirky romantic comedies this is the book for you! Vicky ends up in a bit of a situation when she becomes the executor of a little Maltese named Smuckers. Vicky is taking care of Smuckers for a not so nice elderly woman named Bernadette who has been ill in her old age. Little did she know that Bernadette Locke was one of the most wealthiest women around! Comedy And Chaos ensue when Bernadette’s son, Henry Locke finds out that his company’s new CEO & board of trustees will be a stranger, Vicky , and his mother’s little Maltese. Can he get her to sign the dogs 51% ownership of his company back to him? Will this woman drive him crazy in the process? Will Vicky give in to Henry’s demands or decide to help Smuckers take his place on the board of trustees? With secrets Vicky doesn’t want uncovered about her she may be in for a wild ride. Maybe two can play this game to get what they both want. Dual POV
-One For The Money (4 Stars) Welcome back to the Midnight Dynasty Collection with Eva Morelli’s story! Eva is the eldest of the Morelli children and well classed on how to behave. When her meddling mother wants to arrange for her to wed, a surprise saves the day. Finn Hughes is from a very wealthy family and has grown up around the Morellis’. After overhearing a conversation he decides to rescue Eva and propose a deal...pretend they’re together. Both don’t want marriage so why not fake a relationship to keep their families at bay. What could possibly go wrong? I loved the charismatic Finn and the way he was with Eva. A sweeter romance for this collection that takes an emotional turn with a secret. I’m ready to see what happens after the cliffhanger we are left with. Told in dual POV

TEN BOOKS INCLUDE: The Wright Boss by K.A. Linde Blackmail by Amelia Wilde My Hot Boss by Betty Shreffler Most Eligible Billionaire by Annika Martin City of Sin by Ivy Smoak Perfectly Paired by Lexi Blake Fluffy by Julia Kent One for the Money by Skye Warren Hard Code by Misha Bell
The book was free, the only books I liked were the "Most Eligible Billionaire", a book I have read some time ago and "Hard Code" by Misha Bell. Some of the others are either first of a trilogy and end with a cliffhanger or part of a series of interconnected stand-alones (#12,5 with side characters from twelve books).
One for the Money * Skye Warren First of a trilogy and it ends with a cliffhanger. I loathe it when authors use anthologies by contibuting the first with a cliff-hanger to promote a trilogy and hope to lure readers. This series is a spin off of a series about the Morelli and Constantine families written by various authors. There are a lot of names and refences it is quite confusing, I suppose it is better to read the other books beforehand (more money for the author).
Blackmail* Amelia Wilde First of a trilogy ends in a cliff-hanger The plot is OTT, every action, good or bad is exagerated. There is embezzzlement, a neglectful con-man father, a loving taking-responsibility daughter, young siblings, blackmail by an a*shole boss, violent break-in, violent thunder storm destroying a flat - and a boss too rich for his own good who fixes everything within minutes - unbelievable. This book is connected to "One for the Money", no HEA, you have to buy and read two more books.
City of Sin * Ivy Smoak There were a lot of names in the first chapters, I couldn't apart all those characters. . Friends set up a blind date (hero gets tickets to a coveted sport game) heroine intends it as her goodbye-New York dinner. Both think a lot about sex. I couldn't really get into the story.
My Hot Boss** Betty Shreffler hero a-s, heroine, a weak, dumb-doormat goes back to hero several times although she knows he just wants a fling, too much sex no real story beside some nice moments.
Perfectly Paired** Lexi Blake A group of friends/collegues somehow connected and working in the gastro-scene and security business. Many new names (for me as I haven't read the previous 12 books) made it hard to keep the focus on the story, finally I gave up.
Fluffy Julia Kent
The Wright Boss * K.A. Linde very slow, hero unappealing, heroine annoying, weak dumb doormat
Most Eligible Billionaire ***** Annika Martin billionaires, crazy, funny MCs, heroine strong and clever, interesting plotline A dog inherits main shares of a company, the son tries to contest the will, two strong willed main characters fight, many funny scenes, strong heroine who fought bullies as a teenager and still does.
Hard Code ***** Misha Bell There is a lot of humour in the plotline with funny MCs and hilarious scenes with pets (guinea-pigs play-date), family (dinner at a Russian restaurant), and friends (spa). The novel is set in the IT -industry, and you can tell that the authors are well versed with that topic. It was a lot of fun to read this rom-com as well as the sequels with the hero's siblings.
O my word this was such an awesome read. Talk about getting to know some new authors and the great stories they put together. I can honestly say I loved, LOVED each one of the stories I read in this book. Full books not Novellas so that was also a nice surprise. Billionaires for the win! Discover some amazing new Authors and get this book. You will not be sorry.
Amazing reads by miscellaneous authors. Really good storylines having lots of feels, laughter, sarcasm, love, and lots of sexy times. One of the best ways to read and find new authors is by an anthology or box set. Amazing stories from all of these authors. Definitely will be finding the other books by these authors.
Disappointed that the first couple of books ended on a cliffhanger. Absolutely loved Lexi Blake’s topper book that’s a side kick to M&Ms books, as always fabulous. Micha bell is new to me but loved the quirky laugh out loud story. Overall good set of reads.
I almost gave up on this set, because it was filled with series starters that had cliffhangers and I do not like cliffhangers at all. But I kept on reading. Really glad I did, because everything else was a standalone.
Well written office romances. A little bit of everything, emotions, action, steamy, witty, even everyday and unusual occurrences. Well worth the read. No
Story 1 is Skye Warren's One for the Money which I own & am saving until I have all 3 in the series. Story 2 is Amelia Wilde's Blackmail where Will is a grumpy, rich businessman, & Bristol is his temporary secretary for 2 weeks. Bristol (oh dear) steals $50k from Will who proceeds to blackmail her because he fancies her. Aaaand, no resolution because it goes into a 2nd book....grrrr... Story 3 is Ivy Smoak's City of Sin where Bee (aka Beatrice) goes on a blind date with Mason, who is a cocky, SOB of the first order! Absolute rubbish, so DNF'd Story 4 is Annika Martin's Most Eligible Billionaire which I own & which I enjoyed very much. Story 5 is Betty Shreffler's My Hot Boss where Emma drunkenly meets Grayson - who turns out to be her new boss. They (eventually !) get into bed with each other; Grayson is a bit of a prick; Emma is still getting over her cheating ex; & we get a silly, though expected, ending. Duh! Story 6 is Lexi Blake's "Perfectly Poured" - possibly an extension from the Masters & Mercenaries "Topped" series. Sebastian, a sommelier at Top, ex-vet who has lost his legs, is asked to train a tech specialist at Sanctum, with the help of Tiffany, a waitress at Top, who also has a crush on him. Sebastian & Tiffany go into a 24/7 contract, both for the BDSM training, & the food aspects at Top. A nice, developing relationship - which is usual for Ms Blake. Story 7 is Julia Kent's Fluffy which I own & previously read. Story 8 is Misha Bell's "Hard Core" where Fanny (with a god-awful surname), a software developer, is given the task of testing a suitcase full of sex toys by her immediate boss. But an anal butt-plug lands Fanny in A&E, taken there by her boss-bossman, Vlad, who later agrees to test the 'male' toys while Fanny deals with the 'female' ones. Ha! but, if you know nothing about coding/tech/games this may be an uninteresting read. It's quite funny otherwise :) Story 9 is KA Linde's The Wright Boss where Landon, a pro-golfer returns to his home town for a 10yr reunion, at the same time as in the process of dumping his wife. There he meets Heidi (who has had a crush on Landon since school) & who is best friend of his previous HS girlfriend Emery who is now dating Landon's eldest brother Jensen (yup - families!) Anyway, loads of family involvements (unhelpful); Heidi loses her job because of her "association" with Landon, who is also going through physical therapy because of a bad back; & the whole thing is quite silly :)
