"Don't tell me you actually believe Asami is in love with you?" The gorgeous and devious Fei Long has kidnapped Akihito and taken him all the way to Hong Kong!

The story continues in Vol. 4. Takaba has been kidnapped and taken to Hong Kong and marked with a tattoo. He's in a high rise owned by the Hong Kong mafia. Fei Long is there recovering and he has a new toy to play with.
We see Asami wants Takaba back and he figures out a way to get him back.
I didn't feel a whole lot went on, but it was a good volume. There is another cliff hanger. I'm ready for Takaba to get back to Japan.
Quien hubiera imaginado que en las mafias japonesas y chinas pudiera haber tantos drama y erotismo gay jajaja. Lo estoy pasando pipa, no pues remediarlo.
What is it about dangerous situations that attracts Akihito? And how do these toxic violent men keep pulling his heartstrings? Fei Long kidnapped him, caged him, forced him into various sexual acts, hell- before doing any of that he tried to kill him, and yet Akihito still has room in his heart to feel sorry for him!? 😶
Great volume. Very intense storyline. I was on edge the entire time and that ending was crazy. I knew things were going too well but I still believed things could end favorably for everyone. Silly me. 😭😭 4 stars
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is the last volume in the series, as far as I know, but it ends with a huge cliffhanger. It irks me a bit that we'll never find out how it ended, even though Ayano Yamane promised her readers answers in the next volume - that never came to be.
I liked this volume better than the last one, although it was rather funny that Feilong needed Akihito to talk some sense into him - Akihito isn't really the poster boy for maturity, after all. But it's true that until now, no one mustered the courage to tell Feilong outright that his behavior was childish, that all he needed was to actually talk to Asami and ask him if he killed Feilong's father or not. Also, I liked Asami's determination to get Akihito back no matter what.
And the last part, the standalone story about Akihito and Asami, was quite funny too. I loved drunk Akihito hanging all over Asami!
I told myself I wasn’t going to write a review for this series.
And honestly, I’ve told myself that a couple times. Now I love this little blog I’ve created and all the amazing stories it allows me to share with everyone, but sometimes I really just want to read something for myself and not think about how I’m going to phrase a review for it in the background. So when I pulled this old school series off our shelf, some of the volumes were still plastic wrapped and I was thinking I was just going to fall into some old school mature yaoi and enjoy myself and nothing else.
But obviously, I’m writing this review, so we see how well that went. Oh well ^__^
This volume shows us a different side of Fei Long, but I still hate him.
Akihito is being keep by the Chinese mafia leader as a pet. The photographer has no choice to follow his kidnapper orders & please him. It all about power & domination since Fei long think he have stolen his nemesis favorite toy.
The young man think he have no values in Asami’s eyes and try to find a way to escape. From my point of view, Akihito is quite the damsel in distress, so finally he is trying to do something.
There is a new player in the crime business, Mikhail from the Russian mafia, who of course, seems to show some interest toward our young M.C.
Not the best volume of this series. Forget about the romance here, this is quite dark and not super pleasant, with a bunch of trigger warning. I cannot wait for Akihito to be reunited with Asami & far away from troubles (a girl can wish right?)
Now that Akihito has been in the custody of Fei Long, Asami is forced to take a step back and figure out his next step. And who’s to stop Asami from starting an all-out war with a classic exchange on a cruise ship? Great volume.
This series is super sexy. And addictive, I can't stop reading the whole series all day, and I think I will read it again. And re-read it again, as many time as I could!
Alright y'all know the drill; this volume features the Hong Kong Arc of Finder "Naked Truth" section, as well as the bonus chapters "Hardworking Photographer Akihito Takaba's Splendid Daily Life" and "Hardworking Photographer Akihito Takaba's Hard-Core Business Boot Camp."
Naked Truth (Hong Kong Arc) NAKED TRUTH HONG KONG ARC LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!!
This might be my favorite arc in the series (or at least, it is of the volumes I've already read [1-7]). We get to see Akihito in all of his glory: extremely sassy and snarky (page 16 my beloved); prideful and naive (but I would argue not in a stupid way, but in a hoping for the best/idealism way); willing and able to fight back (); kind and protective, like an older brother; really, really beautiful in Chinese clothes (Fei Long is right, Akihito looks great in a changshan; I think about page 139 all the time); and honest and empathetic and compassionate, almost to a fault -- but that's what makes Akihito who he is, and it is what allows him to connect with and open people up. And it's what allows him to... essentially befriend Fei Long.
I won't lie -- despite everything leading up to it, I love the relationship between Fei Long and Akihito, and I love how, really, Fei Long is the one who ultimately changes through exposure to Akihito and not the other way around, despite everything he puts Akihito through. Akihito is unlike anyone Fei Long has ever met, and the relationship that develops between them is likely unlike anything Fei Long has ever had -- Akihito becomes something like a friend and confidant, someone who is so honest it feels like he can trust him and someone so kind he feels like he could love him. God... I just really love their dynamic so much, and what it does to Fei Long... in another universe, Asami, Fei Long, and Akihito are the power throuple of my dreams...
Hardworking Photographer Akihito Takaba's Splendid Daily Life A really cute one-shot, especially after the drama of the Naked Truth saga. I really like how in these little extra chapters we get to see how fond Asami really is of Akihito, and how much he likes him because he's stubborn and fighting so hard to reach his ideals.
Hardworking Photographer Akihito Takaba's Hard-Core Business Boot Camp Yesssss.... yessss!!! Another installment in my favorite Finder AU mini series: salarymen. It's just so fun to read about these three coexisting as coworkers and not actively trying to kill each other lol...
I really wanted to feel simpathy for Fei Long's reason why he is always messing with Asami, but I hateeee himmmmmmmm sooooo muchhhhhh. Akihito deserves a vacation after what Fei Long has been doing with him and now we have a new character that apparently will also get in this fight between Fei and Asami URGH, another person who hurts Akihito.
Asami even thought hurt after getting multiple shots goes to save Akihito from Fei's hands and yey finally, do something good man. Don't let your man with that little ass. URgh I hate Fei Long.
Poor Akihito's got some major Stockholm lol. It's been a while since I picked up this series so I can't seem to remember what exactly made Akihito start liking Asami so much other than the fact he like protected him, which I guess does add points. He's starting to like Fei Long too though, but tbh I like Fei Long even if he is a brat. He's just so pretty lol and I love the toxicity. I'm kind of tired of the back and forth of Akihito being kidnapped and saved though.
Oh Akihito my love, you have certainly got yourself into trouble now!! Way out of your league which makes it all the tastier! And is that a third player I see coming to join in? Well hello sir!! Also the secondary character developments have certainly added a lot to the story!!!
Ay por dios, Akihito vestido con trajes chinos es lo más lindo del mundo. Se nota mucho en este tomo cómo las emociones de los tres personajes van cambiando, me ha gustado un montón.
