This was a good decent read, both the characters Austin-Frannie have a past which changed them,Austin has Abandonment issue his mother left him to persue her dreams of becoming a star then his father brought him up ,they kept moving his father said moving helps not to get attached to a place of person and you can never get hurt and Austin also follows the same rule in his life,Frannie has low self confidence her boyfriend Joe had left her another woman and also humiliated her publicly from then on she is reserved never went on dating or another relation just kept running their business
Austin-Frannie give in their attraction and they spend a night together after which Austin has to leave, then Frannie comes to know she is pregnant she is excited when Austin is back, she tries to tell him about the baby but then a photographer clicks their pic asks Austin about their relation he says they are friends and then photographer asks when are the wedding bells he says he does'nt has anything to say which the photographer and Frannie interpret that he does'nt wants to get married,Frannie is hurt and decides to break it off without telling him anything about the baby
Austin is really hurt when she says they want different things from relation and he does'nt wants marriage children and she wants all of it,Austin is confused he does'nt knows what he wants and Frannie's words hurt him so much he remembers what his father said "“If you let someone close, you give ’em the power to hurt you,” “Don’t give away your heart, boy, unless you’re willin’ to live without it.” and he leaves and gets himself drunk.Frannie gets call from Tommy he tells her Austin loves her and Frannie rushes by to be with him,Austin is so happy to see Frannie and he says "i love you"in sign language
Then these two hug and says I love you and Frannie tells him about the baby and he tells her he is leaving NASCAR both start a new life filled with their love and their baby.
The bonding between Frannie and his sisters are adorable their is a close knit family and along the romance side there also a suspense going on which their Aunt Celeste can only solve.I really enjoyed the book
Absolutely loved the love confession scene it was very cute and was very happy these two got their HEA
NASCAR goes Montana Maverick. The "plain Jane" female character meets up with the flashy NASCAR driver who buys property in Montana and romance developes. Of course, there are a few "bumps in the road" before the end of the tale.
Amazing, the first few chapters were funny and indeed hilarious, the love story was sentimental and sizzling,I also liked the mystery in the story but it was not solved at the end, maybe in another book of the series.
