The fast paced middle novel set in the Dark Conspiracy universe. Introducing ETs and other psionic characters. Very enjoyable!

The 2nd of the Fiddleback trilogy for the RPG Dark Conspiracy.

I loved this book when I was a kid even with it's odd pacing and the main POV character's stilted dialogue. Lots of it hasn't aged well but it's still a solid if campy read.

Plus there's a Tibetan demigod shooting things with a WWII anti tank rifle and seriously, how can you go wrong with that?

Quick thoughts: Not quite up to the level of the first, but still a good follow up that expands the world, balances a large and varied cast well, and builds to a big confrontation that both feels appropriate as an end to this book and sets up for the next one in a big way.
