This is the best vampire series! Never a dull moment in any of the books. Usually when the series is really long I lose interest, but with this series she just keeps me wanting more!
I've actually paused on number 11 but flew through 1-10. They are a fun read - again, another variation on the vamp action. I do like the dynamic of keeping everything confined to one town and the mythology associated with the history and evolution of said town. Likeable teens in peril. Sort of. And sort of superheroey, super smart teens. I dunno - they were fun and easy to read when I needed an escape!
Ah, Morganville. Probably one of the best young adult vampire series out there.
Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t perfect. There are many things I disliked about this series, yet when I compare it to other books in this category it ranks rather high. Throughout the series, we have a continuous story and individual book stories to keep you engaged, without things growing repetitive.
If you’re into young adult vampire stories then I suggest you give this series a go.
I do think I really prefered the 1st person narrative of Claire that the series started out with. I understand why it changed, but sometimes I have to keep reminding myself of whose voice is doing the talking....
I love this series! I like how the vampires fit the sterotype and how also they defy it. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and I have loved every book
