Renowned as a fierce warrior and strategist, Sherem, the Prince of Nefar, was able to quell any uprising and conquer any adversary with the exception of one recalcitrant female—the Princess of Gattonia—until the day Nadia, whom he pursued for his mate, finally came to him for assistance…at the wrong moment. The moment when his pleasurer was pleasuring him.
Thank the heavens it did not change the fact that Nadia’s brother and his family had vanished. Or the fact that Sherem would use her dilemma to trap and finally claim her for his mate…provided he could keep them both alive long enough to accomplish the deed.

I would love to rate the books in this series higher, but the author has a (sometimes hilarious, but always distracting) habit of choosing the wrong synonym or similar word anytime it is an option. My favorite was when the heroine found the food 'editable.' This is a problem through all three books in this series.

Otherwise the books are entertaining, the characters are fairly well developed, and the storylines have plenty of twists and turns.

I love this series. The galaxy created by Lil Gibson is unique and interesting, peopled with good "good guys" and bad "bad guys." I would give this addition a 4 and 1/2, actually.
