Not quite as good as Going Postal - Moist is more of a known quantity and his visions of escape seem more dreams than reality after he actually speaks warmly of the possibility of being president of the guild and getting to wear the "mostly-gold" chain. But the way in which he spikes the guns of the would-be blackmailers is still wonderful; he still invents some marvelous institutions including elaborate paper money; and we learn that depression in a turnip is a very sad thing. A very good listen with Stephen Briggs voicing the characters.

A classic Discoworld novel. Moist von Lipwig shows us the absurd world of finance and how trust influences world or cities life. After the financial crisis of the past years it's a book you want to laugh and cry about at the same time..

Good read for some fun insight into banking. I adore all of Terry Pratchett's books for adults/teens- fun, snarky satire!

I will never look at a toffee pudding or a pug the same way again. Enough said.
