I would have to say that this book was a very fast and entertaining read. All the stories were fast-paced, had good characterization, interesting plots, and had good twists to the stories. This would be a great Halloween read because of the creepy atmosphere and the way the author writes makes you not want to put the book down until it’s finished. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book was a quick read and the stories were fast-paced which I enjoyed. "Another Man's Wife" and "Comes with Baggage" were my favorite. While all of the four stories were predictable and used common horror elements, such as cheating, serial killers, Witch Craft, Monsters, and sacrifice, I still found them entertaining. I think "Comes with Baggage" was the most unique in its take on transplants. There were spelling errors that were distracting from the story. I would have no problem picking up another David Bernstein short story collection. I recommend this as a quick nighttime read!

All of the stories were fantastic. Another man’s wife - did not end well for the man or the wife. Comes with baggage - something not covered in transplant surgery. The Serial Killer’s Ghoul - never break a deal. The Lake Pact - listen to your parents warnings.

loved it!. my favorite read is a horror short story( thanks to Stephen King). These were four of the best horror shorts I've read in a while. Each story was unique and well plotted. Its nice to read something you can't second guess. An original! I breezed thru in no time. an easy, worthwhile read.

Four short stories for the horror lover looking for a quick read. Includes a nice monster in the lake story and one about a serial killer who has a ghoul clean up after him. Recommended!
