A Dark MM Romance about debauchery and the descent into madness.

When Jackson Monroe abducted his last victim, he didn't expect the gorgeous and faithful Adrian Price to become a staple in his life. But the longer he's in Adrian's orbit, sharing a bed, eating home cooked meals, and hunting new conquests, the more he begins to understand Adrian's curiosity about grief, depravity, and murder.

Faith, desire, obsession, and hunger clash when a toxic union becomes a dismantlement of power and presents an opportunity for the master of an unusual craft to finally teach .

Saint Harlowe is another pseudonym for Freydis Moon who was a white person masquerading as Latinx. Don’t support them. Don’t buy their books.

They are disgusting and I love them.

In my mind this book is set to the tune of Ptolemaea by Ethel Cain

I can't get enough of these two.

Jackson's POV had me choked. Seeing Adrian through his eyes—the complete and utter love, obsession, and devotion? 20/10. Where can I get a man this devoted?

If he knew I would put a gun in my mouth if he asked. If he knew I would slit my wrists, or leap from a building, or douse myself in gasoline, he might’ve lost all faith in me.

How jealous God must be, watching me give all my faith to Adrian Price.

But not just Jackson, Adrian too. Being willing and at Jackson's mercy while having that man leashed? My god.

It drove me mad. His submission, his acquiescence, his eagerness to be pleased, to be used.

“Say it.”
“You’re my god,” he gasped out, shaking and whining.
“Again.”
“You’re my god, Jackson. You’re my god, you’re—” I fucked him through a messy orgasm.

Finally, Adrian taking the leap. It's one thing to fantasize about killing and eating someone, but it's entirely different actually doing so. I think it was written and tied together well, especially with Adrian's faith and how Jackson saw it. I do wish though to have had a peek into Adrian's head for his first time.

Anyway, that's another kill-together, eat-together cannibalistic couple to add to my list of favs <3

Your honor, they're in love you can't fault them for their atrocities. Jackson Monroe could call me a "good boy" and I'd lay myself out for him to make me their next victim.

Ravage is the sequel to Rapture so definitely read that one before reading Ravage as Adrian and Jackson are an established couple in this. Check TWs in both books!

I consider myself very lucky bc I genuinely love the books I read but there is something about Saint’s writing that makes me absolutely, monstrously FERAL for this duet. I want to cram this down everyone’s throats and force feed them these gloriously deviant, brilliantly unhinged duo. I said on my tiktok that if no one takes another book rec from me except one, let it be this duet and I still stand by that

If you love dark romance to blend with horror elements you need to experience Rapture and Ravage by Saint Harlowe. It’s mixture of religious undertones and the obsession they have with each other is delicious and creates such a captivating story. I actually got 53% into Ravage and started it over because I couldn’t bear to part with Adrian and Jackson but the ending was *chefs kiss💋*

*Ravage is the second book with Rapture needing to be read first

Adrian stepped into my ribcage lika a ghost returned to its grave. Settled there, comfortable and imminent.

(DEUTSCH WEITER UNTEN)

Like volume one totally disturbing and full of such black things you don’t want to imagine but can. Also the writing style was so stunning again.
I am just in love, that’s all I can say .... Except ... Check out content warnings because cannibalism is just one point of many that is there.

(DEUTSCH)

“Horns are just as heavy as wings, little dove.”

4⭐️I enjoyed this second part of this duet as I really enjoyed his POV.

It was interesting to see the religious overtones enmeshed with their twisted sense of self. It was an extremely interesting angle that I really enjoyed.

Mega spicy and twisted. Not for the faint of heart but I liked it a lot!

He was every good thing God had ever crafted. Like the death of a star, I was pulled towards him. All his light, all his essence, expanding until it swallowed me.

This was such a fun requel to Rapture (my review) and pairs so perfectly with the first book. In this one, Jackson and Adrian are together - and its time for Adrian's first kill.

I loved Jackson's perspective on Adrian and his evolution in this book. It serves as a companion to the first book and Adrian's perspective on Jackson.

What a lovely, twisted thing to be entranced by someone, to be in love, and to be at peace with the fact that we made each other afraid.

Adrian and Jackson remain as messed up as they were in the first book, and that's where the draw lies. Their messed up natures feed off of each other, and creates a new, even more messed up whole - and that's the fun of this book.

Additionally, what I liked more about this book over the first book is that their relationship feels a little more organic here. They're still kind of pretentious when they talk to each other, but it's balanced out by a level of domesticity (that is, domesticity given they're two cannibalistic murderers in love, of course) that makes it so much more comfortable to read.

4.5/5 stars, rounded up to 5 stars, and I can't wait to read this again!

Ok ignoring the stunt of the author, for a cannibalism novella it was good. The blood baptism series is one of my first lgbt+ erotica novella with cannibalism themes.

How jealous God must be, watching me give all my faith to Adrian Prince.

I feel like I've been training to dip my toe into this genre-meld of horror and erotica for a while. I'm a veteran of the A song of Ice & Fire fandom, one that recently got a big boom with the release of the House of The Dragon TV show, and have spent the better part of the last 6 months, or so, buried in what fandom spaces lovingly title as ⚰️ Dead Dove 🕊️ fanfiction and have discovered some things about my tastes and preferences.

Mostly that literature is the one place where I feel the most comfortable pushing my limits.

Saint Harlowe's RAVAGE is an exceptional story about men dancing on the razor's edge of obsession and passion, of savagery and cruelty, of pain and pleasure as we follow Jackson Monroe go about his life as a serial killer/cannibal and how he partakes as a part of that world while also feeding into his darkest aspects. We are in his head throughout the narrative and we truly get a glimpse of how depraved and devoted he is to his lover and protege, Adrian Prince.

I was utterly enraptured by Harlowe's use of religious imagery to convey such heinous, duplicitous acts of carnage and violence. I found myself perplexed and slightly horrified at the lengths Jackson would go to keep Adrian, to cage him, love him, taint him, save him. The stream-of-consciousness-like manner in which the narrative unfolds is one that kept me engaged from page one to the last one.

RAVAGE was the perfect way to dip my toes into this newfound world of erotica/horror and I cannot wait to read the other side of the story in the companion novella, RAPTURE, which I'm cracking open right now.

💖 Happy Pride, y'all! We deserve messy, dark, and problematic queer rep too & I will always stand by that statement 🏳️‍🌈

✍️My Review: What a sequel! I find myself still in awe with how sweet Jackson is, he is utterly infatuated with Adrian and it’s nothing short of beautiful. This story makes murder and cannibalism seem poetic, but I’m sure that comes down to phenomenal writing style by Saint, you can’t help but be infatuated with both the main characters. Looking forward to more from this Author

4.5 stars. just because i’m too shy to put 5. i am embarrassed by how much i enjoyed this book. this series will be my dirty little beloved secret 🫡

my only qualm and why it isn’t 5 is how short it is. i wish there was more to savour, and more time i could spend with these intriguing characters.

“You’ll never need to seek forgiveness from me, understood? I’m a giving god.”
“I’m the only god you need. Say it.”
“You’re my god,”

I feel weirdly sad finishing this book. It was filled with this kind of perverted obsession (not love, but isn't obsession just better?), and I crave it. or maybe I crave a god who loves me and answers me.

RIP adrian and jackson. you would have LOVED listening to 'strangers' by ethel cain, especially adrian. he would definitely say to jackson 'you're so handsome when I'm all over your mouth... (when I'm all over your mouth, when I'm all over your mouth).'

nd oh god, in your basement, I grow cold
thinking back to what I was always told: 'don't talk to strangers, or you might fall in love.' It's so them, and I wonder—will adrian end up eating jackson whole? I have so many unanswered questions, and I can't help but think about their inevitable tragic fate. for those weirdos, maybe it's a double suicide, or they die together after being exposed and chased by the police. I am a sucker for tragedy, sue me.

yhe intimacy of violence, the matching tattoos, their kills together, them eating parts of each other, them eating people together after murdering them—so sick. they truly match each other's madness.

second read: 4 stars I love jacksons pov!
