Wait, wait, wait—halt, halt, halt. So you’re telling me the “first” feeding was important? But what about that one drop of blood Laura took? Isn’t that considered a first feeding too?

Omg, Madison and Laura are now giggling together? In the last book, Laura couldn’t even say Madison’s name without flinching. And in this book—what the heck? Are we really going to ignore that kiss with Alexander?

Also, their conversations sound a bit old-fashioned. And surprisingly, Laura sounds like that too. Like, babes, how are we supposed to distinguish Laura from other characters if they all sound the same?

It feels like this series was cut short. The concept was interesting, and the pacing was fast. But weren’t they planning to hunt each of the Elders? Won’t the last book be rushed then?

And what happened to the adoption plot? With the prophecy taking over, that storyline just vanished.

About halfway through it and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Book one was hard to get through because Laura came across as really young and there were a lot of editing issues, but I finished the book and read reviews that the 2nd book was much better so I continued on. I am glad that I did because book 2 was really good. Book 3 is good so far, so we will see. Will give more of a review when I am done with it.

Ok. The writing style and quality was a lot better in this book. It wasn't without errors (but as I've said before, most authors will make a few errors which are caught after publishing so I'm not going to fixate on this).

It was quite slow going but the story has progressed and a few things that were unclear from the past few books were clarified. Laura seemed to have more feelings this time.

She thought more about her family and friends. The relationship between her and Logan seemed to develop a bit more but I still felt like I needed to see more emotion and romance between them.

We still have a mystery of who the lady from the shop was. We've been left with a few loose ends that I am sure will be covered in the next book, hopefully.

All in all, I'm really glad that the author seems to have improved over all. I'll be reading on to see what happens next.

The characters are immensely lovable but the only character I did love is the bear. And it is not human. So…does that count?

Okay, wait. Rewind. Or else you won’t know what I’m talking about. So here’s the Sparks Note version of my review concerning the 2nd book: I find it semi -cowardly (to sound more supportive) that the author chooses such a safe plot and still play safe by creating such positive characters. It’s like the ying without the yang. It shows not much character growth, not much forethought, not much solid world-building… Basically, there’s just not much ying energy despite the author’s effort.

The book kicks off with Laura emanating girly feelings about Logan. P.S. This might be the first time I thought about this. They could be called L-squared in Hollywood. You know, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were nicknamed Taylor-squared when they were dating?

Anyway, the author shows tremendous amount of creativity by showing that women like their men to worry about them. And our plucky hero Logan worries about Laura. *Aww, sweet*. But worry not, Laura is completely sure of herself. She ’had full control of her vampire abilities now’ (although she is just two months old) and ’could wield them just as confidently as Logan could’ (although he is four hundred and twenty nine years old.) The author proceeds to explain this oddity by stating some vampire facts we should know about. Sometimes, explanation works. But unfortunately, this doesn’t. There are more to having and wielding a power. You need to have some intellect too. And from what I’ve seen in three books, Laura isn’t exactly blessed in that area.

I will probably pick up the last book when I run out of books to read.

This third installment(part one) to the Dream Realms Trilogy was not too bad. It does go into very long detailed explanations into the history of the Vassiz, which I personally did not find too interesting, but others may not agree with my opinion. I like how Laura and Logan and their friends come out strong and always find a way to unite and overcome the Vassiz. I must admit that the cliffhanger was really good, but just as I was really getting into the book it ended, I feel like she could have cut out all the details and done away with 2 parts of the third installment. Still enjoyed it and I will read the last one.

Laura's questions about fate, identity, and trust rise to the surface, and the stakes are now more than just personal-they’re world-shattering. The tone is more serious and introspective, though the split-book format means it ends with some unresolved tension. A thoughtful bridge to the final act.

I read through this book in no time. I was gripping and exciting. I can't wait to read the next one whenever it comes out. Laura has her work cut out for her in fighting the elders. What was it the Raphael was so upset about? Will the fighting four all survive? So many questions to be answered and waiting will be tough. Book II where are you?

Disappointing that the third book and final book is not the end. There is still one more to go in the series. A good book though it needs to be edited better and I liked the idea of Gray the bear having that connection with Laura and the development of their relationship in this book. Enjoyable series and I will buy the next one to see how it ends.

Sophia, they get better through the series as the plot gets clearer. although, how is it that when Logan and Laura are alone in the hotel room in Portland that the first time they talk is in the morning when the sun is rising? Where is the hot stuff between them? Laura doesn't even kiss him. So it looks like a friends with small benefits of a situation.

The book started a bit slow but then it became quite interesting. I'm glad some more things were explained about why Logan showed Laura the Dream realm. However, there were a lot of explanations of obvious things that just cluttered the story. I hope the final book comes soon.

I've started to like this serie more and more. This was a fast pace story with more action than before. Although it's still a bit unrealistic, I like the fact that Laura is strong and that she has so many courage.

This book was a little harder to get through, only because there is a lot of background explanation that I found a little redundant and boring. Either way, I read the whole thing, and I'm excited to start the next one.

This book was pretty consistent with the first two. Lots of action, lots of suspense. We can feel things starting to get somewhere and that an ending is near.
