A brief look at the backstory and return of the Sith after 1000 years in hiding. Political intrigue, and a plan to regain power over the senate and destroy the Jedi, Darth Sidious, the most powerful Sith of all uses his apprentice, Darth Maul to put his plan into motion.

These are definitely on the higher end of chapter book reading. A little wordy for chapter books, but FULL of great pictures and reference to some favorite storylines. My child reads the headings & text by the pictures, and I read the rest. He really enjoys the Star Wars series and this breaks it down with background info and a short version of the story.
