Carolyn was one of you as a kid, with the intriguing seeds planted in her head of the shivering thrill-thoughts that came with words like spanking, or discipline. As with you, those kinds of words and thoughts connected the heated blush of her cheeks with feelings elsewhere, which got more and more interesting the older she got.

I bet you know just what I'm talking about.

Like some, she started writing down these thoughts, escaping into short stories of reluctant heroes willing to take someone they love in hand when it's for her own good... and more shadowy thoughts as her imagination matured.

And like some, she started sharing her writings in newsgroups once she gained some confidence.

There's nothing like the perfectly-turned phrase, the handful of words that can make a feeling wash over you. And if you're reading this, then you have within you some intense feelings that most of the world doesn't understand -- but Carolyn does, and she writes those passions with wondrous abandon. Her specialties are Spanking Romance and Adult Ageplay, so we've grouped the many examples of her work that way.

Spanking Romance Classics are sweeping love stories which dare (in a very un-PC way) to allow their heroine to feel the special love of a strong man who will take her in hand when it's best for her. Carolyn writes very real, rich characters and stories that aren't just excuses to jump from spanking scene to spanking scene. If the timeless tango of pursuing ardor touches you, and the head-rush of Adoring Discipline intrigues you, then you'll love Carolyn's stories!

Amanda is a high powered banking executive who is caught and turned into a ponygirl. As a surprise, she's a VIRGIN! The real bonus as her trainer Andy and groom Ted learn, "Mandy" likes spankings. The harder, the better and she becomes wetter! Naughty little Mandy receives welts after welts for disobedience. Talk about corporal punishment for this little minx.

The body modification in here isn't that alarming. They have only removed two of the back molar teeth and paralysis of her vocal cords. Other than that, she's living a life of idyllic luxury. Sure, she's treated like an animal, but they do talk to her with real words. She just can't answer. It is every man's dream. A woman to fuck at anytime and she can't talk back. Kidding aside, this is the gentlest pony girl story I've ever read. It's really sweet and loving.

The men pamper the women greatly with healthy food, daily spa like treatments, stimulation, companionship and a lot of orgasms. There are also ways to win championships and earn treats. It's really not a bad life. Makes me wonder if more people who are aimlessly wandering through life wouldn't benefit from being turned into ponygirls or ponyboys. I do wonder what they do with the children which are bred. This is never mentioned.

The plot is well written. The BDSM is hawt. The men are all gentle giants. This BDSM fantasy is a great one for those who haven't read pony girls yet and want something soft for their first time.

I really enjoyed reading this book, and was set to give it 4 stars, (which causes me to worry a bit about myself actually) right up until the end which I found very unsatisfying. No, not because it wasn't a romantic HEA type ending, that would have been ridiculous in this story. To me, it felt as if the author was called away from her writing, but decided to end the book quickly rather than coming back to it. The ending was far too abrupt IMO and left too many unanswered questions. I'm angry and frustrated enough that I'm tempted to knock another star off and make this a 2 star read, but that seems a bit unfair.

As other readers have said, this was a rather sweet story for the fact that it was completely non-consensual and rather horrifying had it been real. As a fantasy it works very well actually. I too was bothered by the body modification, although I agree it was relatively mild compared to other non-con books of this sort. As I haven't read many non-consensual pet/pony play stories, this was plenty.

For me there were two glaring questions at the end. The first one was how on Earth the grooms/handlers/etc. felt about having their own flesh and blood human offspring turned into ponies. It boggles the mind, and I would have liked knowing how the babies were raised. Having minors involved in this type of non-consensual situation is well past a hard limit for me.

The other thing was the introduction of a story line without enough explanation. It was completely out of character IMO and there was absolutely nothing from Mandy's point of view in regards to this part of the book. For that matter, when did her attitude change about her situation ? For me it just dangled and irritated, hence the feeling that the ending was rushed. It's too bad because the rest of the book evolves at an understandable and believable (given the unbelievable situation anyway) pace.

I don't understand why the author decided to add children into an erotica. And the abuse of children in most horrific way. I am sorry, but that cannot be a fantasy. You know there are real life events about this. Not in pony play way but a woman can tolerate terrible things done to her, maybe even like it in the end but no matter how far they have gone I cannot accept that she readily accepts the same thing being done to her children.
The author, probably consiously does not cover the subject of the treatment of children. But they call the babies "colt" so obviously it is not like they are going to grow up normally and atteng high school or stuff. While reading the book, entire time, I thought about the children, I was worried but dear Mandy did not even blink. She will keep breeding for them, she knows this, she will present them more and more children every year to abuse, indoctrinate, rape and sell. Her mind should have been broken, I know she had no power but at least she coul have been a little worried, couldn't she?
The book was poorly written in other angles too. The ending was too abrupt, there were errors like hero's name changing in the middle, there were logical errors too.
The author kept telling us about the spa treatment Mandy was gettin, all the orgasms, soft blankets bla bla bla all the while selling us a child abuse story.
I don't have a problem with non-con as long as I am aware that that is what I am reading. But non-con or any other type does not even compare with child abuse.

Oh, I enjoyed this one! It is pretty hot and the captive pony girls are generally treated quite well.

I think it helped that she doesn't dwell on the body modification because when I think about it too much I don't like it. The other part Ms. Faulkner doesn't address are thoughts of what happens when the ponygirls are too old for breeding? Where and how do they 'retire'? I fear they get sent to pasture as a 'kindness' to the beasts. And what about the foals? I guess the men aren't too concerned that the foals are their offspring.

Best not to think about it too much. The read really is quite a turn on.

i read this for the BDSM GRoup taboo challenge when Menage & Pet Play were spun. i'm always up for a good abduction/captivity story and this sounded like a good fit. i'm not sure i would have sought this category if not for the challenge. but as these challenges are designed...taboo boundaries are pushed. :)

i think it was a good and gentle introduction to something pretty hardcore in extremes regarding the ponyplay/ponygirl genre. it was not unkind or brutal in the storyline and if reality was suspended could almost be seen as a love story(?).

i did have a difficult time with the writing style and the run-on sentences that meandered a tad too much for my preferences. especially when it seemed every sentence followed that same structure. as i know that this author has a very large and strong following, i'm going to attribute that to just not syncing with my personal reading style choices.

the sex was hot and the story included many variations of BDSM and alternative fetishes.

i enjoyed the characters a lot and believe that many other readers will enjoy them too. recommended for ponygirl enthusiasts (Misty...this means you. lol)

if you like ponygirls...don't say "Nayyyy" to this book. :)

This is not my first time reading "Generation Stables". The first I read this, I was on some medication that pretty much destroyed my short term memory. So by the time it finally clicked in my mind that this time was a repeated reading, I was far enough in to just finish the thing.

I want to say I hated this book. I certainly should hate this book. From descriptions that manage to be both too much and too little, nonstop run-on sentences, terms that are off-putting at best, a jumpy perspective, and a severe lack of editing, the writing is undesirable.

Then there's the disturbing bits (SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD):

And yet, as dark as some subject matter is, nothing here is treated with much seriousness. Despite all its flaws, there is something charming here. For the life of me, however, I cannot figure out what that charm is.

Short but very hot read!

Interested readers should know that this is pure erotica. Nothing about this world or behavior of the "pony girls" is realistic or makes any sense; if you read it, you only read it for the kink. I don't practice BDSM and was not familiar at all with pony play; but I was surprised that I found it quite hot.

If degradation, humiliation, dehumanization, harsh discipline, non-con, free-use and breeding turn you on, this piece of smut is for you!

This novella was similar to "Against her Will" by the same author, except there was more focus on the pony and obedience training and less on the breeding and the MMC's where more caring and less cruel than the ones in "against her will" and don't spank or cane the fmc while she is pregnant (she is being raped hard all up until giving birth though).

I would have liked it to be maybe another 100 pages longer but otherwise I enjoyed the quick ride!

Disturbing content. I am very open minded and would never kink shame but this story of every possible freedom removed bothered me. The author did an excellent job of describing this way of life in great detail. I would recommend this book to anyone curious about the pony girl lifestyle.

Surprisingly this is a very good read, very interesting. Usually not my type of book to read but I actually loved all of it. I actually loved all the chapters, from start to finish.

What the hell did I just read? I'd been quite curious about reading a pony play book since, I'll admit, Tristan's time as a pony with that tail shove up his arse (from Beauty's Punishment) sparked a certain interest. But what I got with this book was clearly not what I had in mind.

The writing style was a mess. There were made up words like clitty and cunny and a "y"' added to a few other words throughout the story. The plot was pretty non-existant.

The ending of the book seemed very rushed and even less thought out, but honestly I'm glad because I'm not sure how much more I could take. It's a shame because the description of this book had seemed interesting.

I find this one difficult to even rate. I wanted to scrub my brain after reading it to erase the experience, but then went back to reread certain parts. Like the other Faulkner books, this is a total non-con, never-con sadistic fantasy. The only other pony-play I'd encountered was in Ann' Rice's Beauty's Punishment and Beauty's Release. I thought it was outrageously crazy stuff, but not disturbing--probably because it was M/M. Somehow the M/F version was a lot harder to stomach (I feel somewhat guilty about this, since really why should there be a difference, but apparently my gut has its prejudices). Reading books like this is a little like watching horror movies: I always regret it once I'm done, but every now and then the sick curiosity is too much and I succumb.

A very fucked up dark part in my mind might accept reading about abducted women forced into pony play, but children born to become ponies !! That's a horrific twist in the gut. All I was able to think about was the motherly & fatherly feelings any parents uncontrollably gets. How can any father grow his son or daughter to be become ponies & punish & fuck "breed" them (or let anyone else do it). Or can any woman set by & watch that happen to her kids even if she accepted it on herself. The breeding scenes were pretty fun, but let's just keep kids out of our horrible fantasies.

It really bothered me how mean he was at the end. Can we please end things on a good note. Or choose a side at least, either he is fucked up or tender. Stop confusing me.

As usual Faulkner is at her best, IMHO, when writing the more hard core stories. The blurb sums it up but the essence is Mandy is stolen from her single girls successful life and put in
Generation Stables to be a pony girl forever after. This is fantasy and creative fantasy at that! Faulkner has a way of immersing you in the book until you don't really know when the book ends and you begin. The punishment's here are varied and well described but it is Mandy's evolution from human girl to pony girl that is the most fascinating. I think I read this many years ago on the net - and if I recollect there was a Part II of it. I'd love more of Mandy! Hint!

Um, no. Editing was horrid. At one point the name of the main character was messed up. Instead of Aaron the author used Andrew. There are approximately 10 characters in the entire book, it's not complicated. The author switched between charter POV's mid paragraph without any warning.

The book picked up right away but it was all over the place with absolutely no flow of events. The time line was choppy, jumping months at a time within the same paragraph.

I'm not into pony-play. I gave it a shot because it looked like a quick read being only 102 pages. It was odd and not pony-play. I'm not sure what it was. Good luck to those who pick this up.

Amanda is a woman hated by everyone she knows so that when she is kidnapped no one even bothers to look for her! She is brought to a stable and is taught how to be a Pony girl but boy is she resistant even though secretly her body loves everything that is happening to her. The stablemaster is definitly more harsh with her due to the fact that is the only way to get through to her. Lots of harsh punishments and of course pony play!

This is hard to rate, perhaps because it was so difficult to read. The fantasy is hawt, but I found myself thinking that I'd have a terribly sore bottom. I was horrified from the first mention of breeding to the very end, wondering what they did with the "foals". I kind of feel like I should go take a shower.
