Sort of a hellzapoppin plot wherein Nick Carter, Killmaster, begins the book trying to breach the security system surrounding an underground Swedish island, to end up fighting neo-Nazis attempting some kind of sabotage operation on the same island. Along the way a Swedish scientist is found murdered, his body turned bright blue as a result. Then Carter meets Astrid Lundren, a brilliant scientist whose brains are matched by her beauty, of course. Carter then uncovers a nefarious plot run by Count von Stadee, leader of a movement named the Teutonic Knights, who wants to rule the world with some kind of Fourth Reich. And let's see...there's a maniacal dwarf running around with a machine gun, a biker chick named Boots Delaney who is von Stadee's mistress. And there is a 1000-year-old Viking zombie, who's been revived from a block of ice, going around killing Carter's helpers. Astrid gets kidnapped, of course, and taken to von Stadee's castle in Germany where torture is the routine affair of the day. Boots gets horny. Carter has sex. Stuff blows up. Nazi thugs get hi-karate'ed. Just your ordinary men's adventure. Will Nick Carter emerge from it all unscathed? Tune in yourself to find out!

A nice rewrite of an old Pulp character. Recast more in the James Bond spy mode. Good quick men's adventure read. If you are looking for some fast paced action and adventure then this is a recommended read.
