Nora is drawn to patch against her better judgement. Together they embark on a romance which transcends the boundaries between heaven and earth. But being with Patch places Nora right in the middle of a centuries-old battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and now she and Patch must face down a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they have worked so hard for... including their love.

I loved the first book in the series and fell in love with a fallen angel. Nora's character was good and I loved her friendship with Vee. Patch was great. 5 stars
Crescendo
I didn't like it as much as I wanted to. Both Nora and Patch became different characters. Overall it was more on the disappointing side. 2.5 stars.
Silence
Silence was very well written and kept me on an edge throughout. No one could be trusted and a lot of shocking revelations were made. 4.5 stars.
When I was reading each of these books I was like "O my God! O my God! This book is ruining my life!" I just adore this series, and there is no words to discribe how much I loved the series. While I was reading each of these books I was like crazy! That's what these books do to me!!! They were killing me!!! All I did was reading reading and more reading!! I even carried them to school and everything. I can't wait until Finale is out in my contrey!! I mean i got Hush Hush, Crescendo and Silence, and I almost died when I red Silence and couldnt get Finale. I was losing my mind, and beleve me, I'm still losing it now! The love of Patch and Nora is lighting me up inside, and I just... JUST LOVE THE SERIES!!!! When someon pised me off I just like grab the Hush Hush books and hug them I'm like fine!! Cosue I just love these books!!!
Nora is so realistic!! Like you know you can really se her and get to her! I kind of see myself in Nora and that's what makes me love her more. That feeling that you have when you know something's rong but you feel like it's right and you go for it - That's how Nora felt about Patch in the first book! So here's the ansrwe haters! She just felt it! Sometimes you just don't listen to your mind. Specially when you're in love. And Nora was in love with Patch way before she accepted that. So can you just SHUT THE HELL UP!!!
There's nothing wrong with The Hush Hush Series! Infact, it's the greatest series in the world!! And the most inportant reason why, is PATCH!!!!!!! He. Is. Perfect!!!! Every, you get that, every time he says something I laugh or melt or giggle or stay in shock!! Every time he shows up smile is on my face. Because of Patch The Hush Hush Series are complite! Because of Patch and Nora together I feel complite!!
When Nora broke up with him I almost died!!!
I said it allredy, and I will say it again -
THERE IS NO WORDS TO DISCRIBE HOW MUCH I LOVE THE HUSH HUSH SERIES!!!
THE HUSH HUSH SERIES IS THE GREATEST SERIES IN THE WORLD!!!
I hate it ... So much, it was terribly the character ... The main character ... She is horrible just ... What can I say it's that this book made me feel a lot of emotions ... But not good emotions .... I really enjoyed the first volume thought untill I grew familiar with Nora and just hate her she is terrible and I am happy I am done reading it and I just wish I will forget her and this book Forever 😖
Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush #1) - 4 stars To tell the truth the thing that actually got me to pick up this book and read it was the cover. It was simply gorgeous!
I originally disliked the main character, Nora, when we first met her, she is weak. I found her to be completely childish but in the end I saw her true character shine through making me like her a little more. She is stubborn and more than a little pushy but everyone has negative flaws to their character. The main issue I had her is that she is not a strong female lead; she needs Patch to save her and help her. I am seriously hoping this changes in the next couple books.
Patch was a character more to my liking. His brooding and mysterious attitude, albeit kind of cocky and overconfident, pulled me in right away.
I think the romance aspect of the book was underdeveloped and I was expecting more out of it. But when it was in the mix it was cute and exactly what I was looking for in a YA book.
Crescendo (Hush, Hush #2) - 3 stars I did find the story entertaining with the progression of the facts. Other than that the story did not really do anything for me. This book did not intrigue as much as the first one. I felt myself just being annoyed with all of the characters. Nora was her usual whiny self with an annoying attitude and self-serving attitude. Patch just pissed me off from the beginning I wanted to ok his reasons but he was just a jerk throughout everything. No one communicates with one another and they all just make everything worse for everyone in the long run. If patch and Nora would actually talk to each other many of their problems really wouldn't be an issue.
Silence (Hush, Hush #3) - 3 stars I thought I would keep reading this series for the sole purpose that it might get better. So far I liked the first book the best and it is slowly going downhill for me from there. The only think that I do like about the book is the story, it is interesting to unravel what everything means even though the characters are more than annoying.
Once again I could not stand Nora, she is just pure annoying. Her whole persona is whiny and complaining, there is nothing I can really like about her or connect to. Now I know Patch has that jerky personality but it goes beyond that to less than redeeming qualities and overall a lack of communication between characters. For loving each other so much it does not bode well for their entire further if neither one of them can effectively communicate with one another. Vee is perhaps still my favorite character just because she has such a overwhelmingly overbearing and charismatic personality.
Even after all of this I have already put up with three of the books so yes, I am going to move onto the forth but now I am not expecting redeeming, I'm just looking for the end.
Actual review-ish things are here, here and here, for the respective books.
For me this is one of those series where you keep reading yet going, "WHY DO I TORTURE MYSELF?!" but, idk. I like them? In a guilty pleasure kind of way.
Anyway, now that I remember what the hell was going on, onto Finale.
The reason this only gets 3 stars from me is that Silence is included in this set. Loved the first book, second was good, but Silence was just so boring! I almost didn't finish it, but knew I owed it to Patch and Nora to read out their story.
I read this about the same time I read the Fallen series by Lauren Kate and sometimes I forgot which series I was reading. It was tolerable but not something I will ever own or read again.
This whole series is amazing I enjoyed every moment of reading these books. I enjoyed the content and the plot (also obsessed with fallen angel novels! And this is my favourite so far)
