This module is unusual, it is basically a series of encounters that are explicitly "on rails"; you can insert things inbetween the encounters but the party should go through them in linear order. While the PCs in the module are very strong, the enemies are generally even tougher and healing is scarce (although at least there is one magical healing source in this Conan module). There is also an encounter with an elemental that apparently can only be hurt by two of the characters. The very high difficulty level and the relative lack of choice bring this module down to two stars, however it was still an interesting read and the individual encounters do have some creativity.
