Not all demon guards are created equal and Incubus just so happens to be the supernatural beast we’ve been dreaming of. Possessing more dark power than anything Diaya has ever encountered, his adoration for the female brings this tale of lust and primal need to levels you’ve never quite encountered before. And in a short matter of time..you may find yourself craving an Incubus of your very own.
Well this was needed!! I'm currently in the SJM world however, finding it hard to get through the days with NO smut - I mean there's a tiny bit, not enough for me.
So this was lush, so short & so very spicy!! Not really sure it counts a book, lol more of a pamphlet 😂 it's around 13 pages long.
FMC is being abused and treated like crap by her husband, wishes to be free. Enter ... Hell's bodyguard to fuck her real good and show her how a woman should be treated. Unalives the shitty husband, and fills the FMC with his babies!
Happy ever after, the end :)

Thoroughly enjoyed this super quick read and it’s spicy level! We have a woman being abused by her husband, trapped in a situation she feels she can’t escape without it ending badly for her. We have an incubus who is summoned to her by her tears. He pleasures her and also grants her wish… There is some gory violence in here, also during sexy times there is size difference and penetration of both holes, if ya know what I mean.
So I read another short story by this same author and I will say that I enjoyed this one far more than the other I read. I enjoy picking up quick short stories like these as a short break from my main reads. It gives my mind a refresh, and it is always nice to read a quick book before bed.
In this short story you follow both Incubus and the female lead. The female lead is being abused by her significant other, and lives in a society where this is normal passed on from generation to generation. One night, one special night, a sort of demonic savior comes for her... Incubus.
The spice was not bad, for short story. Though... I just felt it lacking a little? The entire short story was written in third person omniscient. For those unfamiliar with literary terms and just like to read a good smut, that is just the third person perspective that follows the thoughts and feelings of all the characters, not just one. Therefore, as you are reading, you follow both the female lead as well as Incubus. This style of perspective is not a horrible thing to do in smut, though I think the author could have done better with it. The smut just didn't hit the spot for me!
I'm really intrigued in this author's writing and I am definitely going to keep checking out different works she publishes with time. I feel that she keeps progressing with her skill of writing!
I generally don't like reading third person point of view, but this was pretty good. It's very short, only being 13 pages. It was definitely spicy! I wish we could have gotten an epilogue, so we could see how she has the child. Is the child fully human? Is she okay raising the child when Incubus will only be on Earth once a year? I found the terms "his fertile stones", "her narrow gate", and "he devoured her elixir, unsure if he'd be able to part from the sweet nectar" a bit cringey but it pulled together well. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a short, spicy read.
Tropes: - abused FMC - monster MMC - size difference 😏 - he saves her

The author posted on a reader group I follow that she was looking for ARC readers to review this short story. I bit. Not like the Incubus in this story, but I was intrigued with how the author would pull off a monster smut tale within just thirteen pages. I have to say, if you like monster erotica, this short story is a must. Plenty of spice. I'd like to read more and see if anything else came of these two characters.
Exactly as I expected it to be. A short, super spicy Incubus story.
While the spicy stuff didn't come until the last half of the story, the lead up to was important to me so that the pieces fit in the end. I enjoyed Incubus more than Daiya for probable obvious reasons, as Daiya had very little participation in this shortie.
Enjoyed this short spicy story. A woman married to an abusive husband who wants out of her current life. She sheds a tear and cries for someone to hear her and the Incubus does. He longs to feel and touch a woman and hears Daiya’s cry and helps her. This was a sweet, spicy story. Looking forward to reading more from this author ❤️
A spicy story you didn’t know you needed. A women who is abused by her husband and stuck in a marriage she thinks she cannot get out of, her tears are heard and granted by the incubus.
The tears summons the incubus and he fulfills her wishes and his own. The things the demon does to her is a turn on your didn’t know you needed. Maybe gory or to descriptive, or just enough… reading is subjective.
Incubus had me completely engrossed! The storyline kept me eagerly turning pages. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good supernatural story that will keep you hooked from start to finish. A must-read for fans of the genre!
This book left me torn at what did I just read and wow am I intrigued. It was a short monster smut, that delivered all the spice.🌶️🥵 I like books like this to break up a long series. Reading this you don’t have to think much but just enjoy, kind of like Daiya😉 also knowing Daiya is free at the end was nice.
Short spicy novella, a great palette cleanser while still packing heat and a bit of darkness. Good plot, EXCELLENT spice, my only complaint is that it’s not longer! Hopefully the author continues with the story and we get a full length novel.
This wasn't bad. Though I don't think this authors writing style is for me. It was only like 13 pages long; but the way it was written made it feel a lot longer. It was definitely heavy on the words. I felt bad for the female before the Incubus got to her. But then again, I felt a bit bad because he didn't get her consent first from him either. She was completely taken advantage of by everyone.
A woman trapped in an abusive arranged marriage. A demon with an insatiable thirst for his next sexual encounter with a female. One tear drop shed by the woman beckons him. While she remains asleep, the demon fulfils his yearly indulgence. After she wakes up, feeling amazing despite not knowing what happened, she realises that she has been set free, along with an unexpected gift.
I loved the short story, it was very unexpected and very descriptive. I was able to imagine every bit of the story, I was hooked right away. I would definitely read another short story.
This story definitely packs a good amount of heat in a short amount of time. Great for a quick palate cleanser or something to read on your lunch break (or maybe not 😉).
I usually like to have a lot more character development, but for a short story, I was more into it than I expected. The grammar could have used some work. I noticed several errors, which distracted me because I had to go back and make sense of what I was reading.
very little talking.. and no spicy scenes quotes from the characters talking. I didn't expect much from a short story. I only read it for musing for a incubus character I have, so it was nice for what it was.
Short but worth the read. This is 13 pages of What the Incubus did I just read. However, it was actually really good. I love a HEA and she desperately deserves one.
I was wondering what would come after the high eroticism of High Stakes... And Incubus arrived... A short story overflowing with eroticism and dirty images, those that have given my mind no rest, replicating there to the point of not being able to avoid feeling immersed in them... giving free rein to the imagination from the excitement they produce... Where the beasts become avengers and give rise to extreme, unimagined pleasures...
Incubus arrived, enhancing the instincts to a level that humans could not reach... But it's not like that... there's no doubt that humans are capable of reaching demonic levels of arousal... Marilynn has achieved it, yes, her brilliant and twisted mind does when she gives free rein to all her imagination, impregnating her characters with her eroticism... and I must say that each word, each phrase chosen is what makes me, why not saying it, experiencing the sexual intention that dominates the story... everything throbs when reading it... She knows how to play the role of a demeaned woman without sexual satisfaction... She knows how to jump into the role of a man and describes in great detail how a man feels sexual arousal, but amazingly, she knows the most intimate details of how a demon feels and drives his erotic and sexual impulses. Perhaps, when reading it, the beast that we have repressed appears unconsciously when it comes to sex...
