Bisco Hatori is a Japanese manga artist. Bisco Hatori is a pseudonym; she states that the name has special meaning to her. She has worked for such magazines as LaLa. Her manga debut was A Moment of Romance in LaLa DX. Her first series was Millennium Snow. However, the comedy Ouran High School Host Club is her breakout hit.
Well this series took a loooong time to move forward. For it being the second to last book, the main conflict seems a far ways from resolution. However, it seems Bisco picked it back up like it was never put down. I liked that the story line had more depth to it than it did before. It was interesting to see Toya branching out and Chiyuki was more aware of her feelings. They've still got a ways to go but it seems like they're on the path. Yami is all kinds of awesome. His bonus story was a great addition to the series and it gave us perspective into his relationship with Toya. Good stuff.
Wow! I loved this and it is sooo different from the first volumes. It has taken Hatori ten years to get back to completing this series and she discusses the reasons and process in sidebars throughout this volume. Vol. 1 & 2 were very light-hearted and funny and I had a blast with them, really enjoying the sense of humour and the characters. The first thing I noticed with Vol. 3 is that the art quality has improved drastically. Ten years obviously is going to make a difference in an artist's work and this is superior to V1/2 making a very pretty book. Secondly, the atmosphere is completely different. The story picks up with a much darker tone. The plot involves a teacher whose son died, a serial killer, a girl being cyber-bullied and a new paranormal creature. Satsuki has a much smaller role now and the focus is most definitely on Chiyuki and Toya. I'm not keen on typical shoujo romance but this is far from the norm. Chiyuki is very open with her feelings and while Toya won't openly admit his, he shows them through his actions. And while the relationship is blooming it is quite low key and doesn't have any of that sickening gushing. It is quite a mature love story compared to any other shoujo I've read. There is still a hint of humour and I love the characters even more than I did originally. Great read!
Chiyuki & touya are curious about the teacher who acting really weird n rumours that she was known as snow woman who was wandering through the snow, some say she kill someone so chiyuki & touya investigate it if the teacher buried people or not. When they're headed to school, all of sudden that stranger is really a danger person who try to stabbed chiyuki but the teacher try to save chiyuki but teacher's got wounded at behind her back. Turns out she was worked so hard but never realized her son got pneumonia n got passed away & her husband left her alone, I kinda feel bad for the teacher. Some students health begin to heal so they're decided to give flowers to the teacher to cheer her up. Another story about a girl who seem got her problem that someone vandalize her stuff like she's been bully. Touya, satsuki & chiyuki investigate it n save the girl from harm plus there's new character - I think it's gonna be villain. Next book~pls

Dibanding dgn vol 1 dan 2, gambar di vol 3 ini jauhhhhh lebih bagus. Toya makin guanteng (vitamin mata nih). Chiyuki makin jeli 'baca' perasaan orang. Sdngkan Satsuki... dikit yah porsi munculnya *poor-wolfie*. Pingin cpat2x baca vol 4 the finale, buruan terbit dunk (^ ^)
I enjoyed this volume, but the lack of action between the main characters made it feel more like an episode of Natsume's Book of Friends than Millennium Snow.
I really liked this book and thought it was very cute. The characters are pretty funny as well. It kinda of teaches you about bulling and how it can affect people.
Devo dire che è migliorato anche se alcuni cose non mi hanno convinto fino in fondo. Pro la storia è davvero romanticosa e divertente. Quasi quattro stelle.
This volume although disjointed at the start is still very enjoyable. This definitely is an old-fashioned paranormal romance story if you like that kind of thing. We learn alot about how the leading guy and his servant got together although it is more bonus content that I wished was in the beginning but that's just me. I think my main qualm with this series as a whole is that the start of the series is that from one volume to the other its not really cohesive and I guess with a slice of life paranormal romance you dont really need to have cohesiveness but again personal preference I suppose. I did like though that we learn more about varying supernatural creatures other than the vampire and werewolf characters which really fascinates me. Because of these points, I have to give this volume a 3-3.5 out of 5 stars this is a series that if you want something cute and fun as well as paranormal but definitely more for high schoolers than anyone younger.
This was MUCH better than volume 2!!! This one has me on the edge of my seat!
Readathons!
NEWTS - NEWTS - these will unfortunately be the last NEWTS :(. - Ancient Runes - A - Authors name starts with a B (first or last) - Milennium Snow Vol 3 - Bisco starts with a B so it works!
The Cardcaptor-a-thon - The Mirror - Reread a book that you thought would be one thing but turned out to be something else - Millennium Snow works for this because I thought it wouldn’t be a very good volume because I REALLY didn’t enjoy volume 2...luckily vol 3 was a lot better!!
FFS (Fiction Feud Society on Facebook). - Hungry Hippos - Origins - Book featuring Asian inspired Mythology or Culture - Millennium Snow Vol 3 - Millennium Snow is Set in Japan 🇯🇵 so it works 🙂.
3.5 Stars!
It was entertaining and funny. A Nintendo DS was brought into the story. I especially liked the first story where a mystery was told. The middle story about a girl liking our main vampire character, Toya was cute too!
Ms. Nito is inspiring some crazy rumors due to her odd behavior. Chiyuki is determined to find out what's really going on. Toya investigates her unintentionally for Chiyuki when he passes out in front of Ms. Nito after not eating enough food. Despite Toya's warning Chiyuki goes to investigate for herself. Chiyuki was right and Ms. Nito had a horrible tragedy in her past, the death of her son which she blamed herself for. Chiyuki searches for something that will last 1,000 years, so she can give it to Toya. The gang goes to save Miyajima who has been feeding a kotonushi bad words that she was receiving from other students. But, in the end it turns out that the kotonushi was about to die and was only surviving from Miyajima's ''meaningful'' words.

After a decade-long break, Bisco Hatori gives fans the much-longed for MOAR. I'll confess to loving the authorial asides in which the mangaka explains why the series was shelved ... and how cringe-worthy it was to pick up the story again. (I can relate.)
The art style shows definite refinement, and there's a subtle steadiness to the characterization. I suppose you'd call it a surer hand. I've always appreciated Bisco Hatori's balance of humor and humanity. I like Chiyuki's frankness ... and Toya's soft heart.
I'm just happy there is a third volume. I had thought the series went on a hiatus after the first two. This particular volume feels a little bit more mature. It deals with depression and death in a way that really speaks to me. It shows me the far reaching effect it has on other people and how every person has a life as complex as your own. If you are a fan of the first two definitely give this a read.
Okay, my first reaction was, "Did the author hit her or something?" the art is just soooo different!!! I mean, I'm happy that she has improved so much over these years but to a reader who has no idea that there is a few year gap between this volume and the previous ones, it totally comes as a shock.
I understand in the end why there was a recap since the author went on hiatus for roughly 10 years but as a reader post publication it kind of wasted part of the book for me. It also was a huge shocker seeing the difference in drawing and I honestly kind of miss the wonky original art work from the first two. Still was a fun read and I look forward to the series end.
Apparently Bisco took a 10yr hiatus before continuing this series, and I think it did the books some good 😅 not just in terms of art but also story. I’m glad I enjoyed this more because I do really enjoy Bisco’s work.
