I don't know why but i felt that something was missing from this book, it didn't satisfy me as some of the previous books in this series did.
While i was excited to see how Brie would handle being in the "vanilla world" as the author describes it and perform her role as a submissive at the same time, i don't believe that the scene at the restaurant could really happen without anyone noticing what was Brie doing.
Also, i was not much fond of the partner that Brie got in the auction and i must say i came close to hate him since he was always cold and many times was slightly humiliating Brie.
The club that the girl went to was very thrilling though and the way that Brie handled the dom-wannabe at the last scene was clever.

I can't believe this is the last volume that's out so far! Almost makes me wish I had held out a bit longer for the next one to come out before I read it but really, this series is so good I can't stop reading it!
In this volume we get to see how the girls function in a D/s relationship while out in the vanilla world. All I have to say is that every time Brie has a scene with Gray I like him even more and hope that Brie will choose him in the end. Sorry to all those "Sir" fans but out of all the characters that have been introduced so far, I feel like he's kind of boring and that his relationship with Brie is kind of boring. She does get to participate in a scene with him on stage with Baron as well and this was a little better for me but even in that scenario I liked Baron better than Sir.
Mr. Anderson was a surprising addition to the story (along with his special talents) and I must admit I loved his scene with Brie as well! I honestly can't imagine doing some of those in public but at the same time I wonder what would it be like to actually get to go to a place like The Haven and actually see some of these things in action. I'd be interested.
We also get to see Todd's character a lot more in this story and in not the ways you would expect. His character turned out to be a big twist for me and I'm anxious to see how this affects Brie's attitude not only towards her training but how she feels about what kind of Dom she wants when she graduates.
Lastly, we get to see Brie on her 4th auction. I felt really bad for her and Captain in this one since it seemed like they both had some issues they were trying to deal with but amazingly I think they needed each other to help get them past some of their own insecurities. We don't get to learn much about the Captain and at first it seems like it's going to be a very awkward scene given that one of the first things he says to her is that he actually wanted to the blonde. But in the end Captain and Brie both get what they need even if it's not what they thought they wanted.

This is a BDSM erotica short coming in around 60 pages.
Week 4
This one just didn't do it for me. But after book 6, it does not surprise me. This was the comedown from my high.
There were some hot scenes her including there D/s in the vanilla world scenes. Oh, what fun that is, lol. The club scene was also nice, it showed Brie being open to new experiences and learning her boundaries.
I was excited to learn the identity of Blue Eyes, and he still hold a certain allure. I wonder if he will get his shot, and if she will accept.
I was not crazy about this auction. While it did not seem overtly cruel, he seemed to be placing all the cruelties bestowed upon him, on her. I was not crazy about his humiliation power play.
At the end there is a bus scene, that was rather disturbing. I suppose at least she did follow the guidelines, she had been taught. But seriously Brie, obviously this is a BAD wanna be Dom, mind your own damn business. You do not know all the ins and outs of this world, and you do not know the kind of punishment she will receive. Not to mention your own damn safety. Not only did you interfere, you also just gave your location to an obvious woman beater. I know she was trying to do the right thing, but use your brains, Brie.
I do think this is an important part of the series, but will defiantly be skipping over about half of this novella.

Hands down, best in the series. While Brie’s perfection as a sub who enjoys everything is starting to hurt my teeth a little, this book still had a lot of good stuff! This book felt more like two of the previous books put together. It was perhaps the hottest because there was a new scene on stage that….lets just say “HOLY CRAP THAT WAS HOT!”. Plus we find out a little more about blue eyes, we visit a real club, there is another auction and more. I really like that Brie is reaching out to others in this installment as well. Red writes a little flowery for me and I noticed it more in this installment, but it didn’t detract from the story or the heat. I wish this series would go on longer. I also wish I actually spread them out a little more as I read them, because the break I took after Book 6 helped me enjoy this more.

Definitely one of the hottest reads around that I've had the pleasure of reading.
I think there's something with the guy who meets her at the training session. The new Mr Anderson is a hunk and a half. Again I feel that Sir will be sidelined and although Brie thinks he's the man and Dom for her, it is obvious she is also having thought of others as potentials. The three students have an agreeable student friend relationship, though it is obvious they are not well matched except for intermittent conflict.
I doubt I could ever have gone willingly into the public performances, yet secretly would have loved the opportunities to have experienced the things Brie does during her training. The expertise of the Masters and their BDSM roles and expertise are enough to melt any with a kink side. Still not obvious which Dom Brie will end with at the end of her training.
Standard of writing and English is good. Standards for BDSM and erotica scene writing definitely 5 star.

I really do. Reading about Brie's thoughts during her lessons, how she's happy when she learns something new, how excited she gets when she finds something she enjoys... It's amusing. She has this almost childlike appreciation when she discovers something new to her. This is the most lighthearted book with BDSM theme I've ever read.

Oh, Brie, now these words will always remind me of you.
This week is about going out in the public as a submissive with her Dom. A little field trip into the vanilla world, and then into the kinky world. She experienced a new enjoyable act, and to her great joy, it included Sir.
But, poor Brie. While she's more than happy to learn whatever she can, now her heart is divided even more, and she doesn't know what to do about that. She feels very disloyal to Sir. And the time to make a decision about her life as a sub is getting near.

With just two weeks of training to go, Brie is considering how her life will change when she leaves the safety of the training program, as Brie on Display ~ Brie # 7 shows her another way to grow as a submissive. She is considering her choices for a permanent Dom. The trip into public with a Dom shows her another aspect of how a Dom can control her and keep the relationship between the two of them in the vanilla world. She is put on display at the BDSM club and submits to a new experience with a bullwhip and the new instructor Dom. She shows her compassion twice in this short episode when she gives Sir's card to the girl on the bus and when she is auctioned to the Captain. She is still learning and then the experience with the Dom in training adds to her confusion about the future. The author is excellent at building suspense into the story. By the time this is finished it will be a full-length novel and I look forward to going back and reading each in order at one sitting. As Brie would say, "More please, Sir."

Red takes this book to still another level! I literally did not get up till I was done with it! Truly a great read! They crammed in so much content, my head was spinning just processing everything Brie was encountering! You can see the set up with "blue eyes" happening although Brie doesn't even see it coming! What a quandary she's in. Some people don't get that the auctions are just that, auctions. They are to further her education not necessarily be a love interest. I also did miss the girls chat fests after their auctions and some of the learning material doled out in the prior installments. The club experience was rather interesting as well as her dinner with "mister" gray! I am on bended knee waiting for the next installment! I can only hazard a guess that it will be totally hot and worth the wait! I am bummed that she only has a couple of weeks left in school. Hopefully we get some after-school reading as well! The Brie bandwagon is getting longer! Jump on!

I've enjoyed each "week" of Brie's training immensely. I think the story is creative, the humor good, and the sex hot. I purchased this today, and read it while ogling the men's water polo match during the Olympics. So my only complaint about each installment of Brie's story is that it's just too damn short, but then again, it's also only $.99.
Two things I really enjoy about this series:
1) it demonstrates that the lifestyle is about exploring intimacy and pushing sexual boundaries between partners, not just pain or toys which I think is a common misconception.
2) Subs are cared for, and their needs anticipated/predicted by experienced Dominants.
One particular heart string tug for me, I enjoyed how Brie is passing on her (for lack of better terms) sub goodwill.

This was a 3.5 for me, but I rounded up to a 4. I guess my "judgements" and all of the building relationships are getting to be too much. I'm the last person on earth to judge someone for her bedroom behavior, but I just don't see this ending well for several people who are becoming "involved" with Brie. Anyway....
There is a new trainer added to the mix in Brie on Display. He puts Brie on display in a club and shows her his love of a whip. Brie is one lucky girl to get to experience all of the different aspects of D/s lifestyle at the hands of VERY able men.

I also loved Brie's journey, I love the fact that you started it from no experience at all for her, the idea of the training school and other beginners was a wonderful journey to go on throughout the series, I love all the characters and their paths as well, each one is a vital part to the series and for Brie on her journey.
The journey was intended for Brie but I found myself falling in love with Sir and his own personal journey to realizing what he wants and needs.
I have read and re-read this series over and over. I would love any other novellas you may entice us with, even on the other characters lives. I look forward to your future musings.

Well, I quickly finished yet another Brie book that I loved! I am dreading the end of this series as I have come to really enjoy these short stories. The characters in the stories as well have become familiar to me and I will actually miss them when they are gone!! LOL

As a part of Brie's 4th week, she gets to experience the Dom/sub arrangement in a public setting. Aswell as experiencing a sub club where she gets to display how far along she has come as a devoted sub. Brie is discovering that her greatest fears aren't so bad when delivered by a Master.
This was another addictive installment. There were several different scenarios in this story that made it so enjoyable. It truly is a fascinating and intriguing lifestyle. Red has great descriptive skills and knows how to keep the readers attention. I'm adoring these books!

Boy, oh boy. How does Red Phoenix do it. Each book in the series is better than the previous. You may say a BDSM book is not for you. Try these and you find enough great characters and relationships to satisfy you. Yes, hot, non vanilla sex scenes are present but they enhance the storyline. Well, you can tell I am a fan. The last scene on a bus will make you think... How would have handle this problem ??

This is Brie's 4th week in training and she gets exposed to the Vanilla world by still being a sub. She goes to a BDSM club and is told she will have a session with Master Anderson (Sir's good friend) and feels she has to make Sir proud she wishes she could be doing this session with Sir but understands that they can not be together. Brie is struggling with who her heart belongs to. Everyone has a way with her.

Another great instalment in the Brie series. Red Phoenix throws in a couple of clever surprises that totally enhances the story. Brie only has 2 more weeks left of sub school at the end of the book and she still doesn't know which Dom to choose when she graduates. Can't wait for book 8 to find out if her decision becomes any clearer!

I loved this book I was hooked instantly I went out and bought the rest of the series. Brie finds herself in the tobacco shop when sir comes in and gives her a card for submissive training.brie finds herself applying to the school with hot steamy scenes and a great plot you can't get enough of brie

I like this book as it was part of the series, however, it's not my favorite. I really didn't like the auction scene in this one. It was just a bit too much for me. And then, the very end with her being on the bus and confronting the one couple..well, that just disturbed me quite a bit. I have to say that this one is not a book that I will be reading for a second time.

This review is for all of Brie's Sub Training. Fabulously wild and crazy sex scenes. Lots of variety too. Not exactly what I consider good writing technique, kind of abrupt sentences & weird repetition. Odd for me to notice in this genre, I guess. I mean I know the whole shades, eh. Whatevs, it's a quickie read. The ending is worth it.

Red Phoenix knows how to enthralled people into her stories because I did not realize that I finished in only a few minutes. Like I said the more Brie experience the more intense and hotter and sexual the story becomes, and with it the more confused Brie becomes about her feelings for the different Doms, and more so when someone that she didn't expect acts as her Dom in this week's practicum.

I liked this one because of many reasons, mainly because of all the diffferent things that happened. Whether to Brie or to someone else. Brie on stage with Sir! oh it gets better WHAT they were doing on stage! A new trainer, oh my!

FSOG has nothing on Red Phoenix! ohh laa laa.. HOT, intense.. a little annoyed it was so short! I felt like I was paying for a chapter instead of a book! but of course it was addictive.. so yes.... I have now paid for all of them and awaiting the next release.
