January 20, 2017Pretty good ending. I would've loved to see how the city rebuilds itself and when things go back to normal. There a few negligible loose ties but it's fine.

While this is supposed to be the end of the series I found out that there's more books in it when it is very obvious that it is supposed to end here.
The art is still rather good and would be better if it was in color all the way to the end like the subseries. I still think that the characters are great and the story is amazing.

Just like the second volume, I had several unanswered questions in the third.how come Whitford was able to find Witsy again? what was that blood plague anyway? where did actually the one who is the one get all the other 3 elements? oh and worst of all, I really don't understand why in the world The One might want to find Whitford and Witsy through Celia? If he knew who they were, why not just show up in their own house? If he didn't how come he figured out that Celia was near to them?
It might be all because of reading the manga, not the real book. there is just lots of stuff that they have to eventually leave out t fit the story.
It might be a good book for every teacher. about how misunderstanding a kid only because s/he is not like how everyone else, can lead to a disaster.

Ok do wow on that awesome ending! but now I think I am going to read the actual books because the Manga I think leaves out details that I wanna know. But it was an amazing story that I would like to come back to for sure.

It was a little confusing at first but once you got into it you were shocked to no end. And the ending, I was like, "WHY MUST YOU END YOU AMAZING STORY!?"

This manga is an adaptation of The Fire, which is even worse than the source material, reviewed here. Started with low expectations. As usual, Svetlana Chmakova's pretty bishounen art elevates the story.
It begins with Whit finding Wisty diseased as she has caught the Blood Plague!
They are saved by a kind little good Samaritan asking Mamma to risk infection and the safety of everyone in their 'safe' haven to help Wisty in the name of the Holiday Spirit. Not sure who in their right mind would take this kind of risk but plot Armor is a wonderful thing because I'd be like ...
Whit eventually cures her! What just happened? He can HEAL others?? So he's not the "weak" one anymore?
Now he's like the most important D&D Party member, the one that must be protected AT ALL COSTS. Good for you Whit, you go boy! Put the Wiz in Wizard!
Times are super tough at this shelter, since everyone is starving and when it's a real celebration when they get meat. Whit and Wisty multiply the food "Jesus" style, which puts their popularity rating through the roof with the other denizens. Merry Christmas!
It's short lived happiness as the New Order has tracked down the shelter, and rounded up everyone except for our intrepid heroes who escape. Of course the bad guys let the plague loose to gather experimental subjects, Nazi style. They have magic too. Magic that gets stronger when Whit and Wisty use magic against them. Look Whit and Wisty, stop being stupid and maybe don't use your powers against the bad guys if it makes them stronger!!
It's Mrs. Highsmith to the rescue! As our heroes aren't exactly PHD material, she has to do the planning and guide them.
While putting the first part of the plan in motion, ourMary Sue Wisty finds out she has the power to control other's minds. Pyrokinesis AND mind control? Xavier eat your heart out.
They add in obligatory new love interests to keep triangles going for both protagonists, and there's the ending of the Heroes Journey and the usual final HUGE confrontation Marvel Style. It is satisfying, and THIS Is where the books should have ended.
Conclusion: Nice art. Wish it was in color. Semi fun if you turn off all the logic circuits in your brain.

Upon the finish of this series, I decided I did enjoy this story and it was perfect.
A lot of darkness and evil and parts in which I felt uncomfortable thinking and looking at, but at the same time, a lot of courage and hope and beauty. So that evened up.
I would say it's pretty fantasy though. I can't imagine a teen 14 years old to survive all that.
But it is a inspirational read, it makes readers want to be stronger.
I don't think I'll ever read the novels though. The story might get a lot darker and complicated with the word descriptions... And I don't need that.
I like the art and the adaptation of the ending(according to wiki, the novels have a slightly different plot?).
Byron is still my favourite character.
I enjoyed reading Witch and Wizard, I hope that it gives courage to more people too.

The horrible world still continues. There's a bioweapon the One is using to kill dissenters. Christmas has been banned. They also burn witches alive. (Which is a repeat of something that actually used to be done to women accused of being witches.)
There's an extermination squad of young people which harkens back to Hitler's use of young children in the military and his SS squads.
One of the most interesting things is when it's said that there are five levels of human existence which include greif, love, compassion, fear and courage.
The most extreme part is when the One interfers with dead people moving on to whatever is next.
It's an incredibly dark series but does have a satisfactory ending.

I think you should read this book because its really suspenful. When Celia sacrificed herself for whit it was suspenful because they thought she died. Also, when whitsy got the plauge sickness everyone thought she was gonna die but whit healed her with magic. When whit and whitsy were in the shadowland and they formed their magic together they killed The One. I really suggest you read this book because its really good.

This is the third graphic novel in the series of 'Witch & Wizard'. The main characters, Whit and Wisty confront the main evil in this, the last in the series. In the previous stories, they have learned that they are witch and wizard and begun to learn to use the powers therein. This continues in the final book. The tale is brought to a conclusion in a book of excellent artwork and a good tale.

I can’t believe the series is over. But it did end with one of the best endings ever. I loved how the ending played out and how the story was good throughout all of the books this series never seems to disappoint a reader. This was one of the first series I’ve read when I just started getting into reading and I’m happy it was.

3.5 stars.
This was a solid series. I’m not an expert on mangas so, I can’t say whether everyone should read this but, it was fun and fast paced and I enjoyed it. I’m definitely going to look into reading more manga.

This was a really fun series. I love manga and the art in this was stunning. James Patterson seems to do better when working with teams than when he's on his own. I might try the novels, as I am intrigued by the plot and want a little more from the characters.

Great last volume, although I wish there were more! I love the illustrations and story. This is much darker than the first two but still very well done.

This was a very good finish to this collection of graphic novels. It does inspire me to at least consider reading the actual series of novels that inspired them.
