I came upon this book while we at Shh… [Smut, Heroes & HEAs…] were looking for a “Golden Cock” book cover. Needless to say this was our crowned winner.

But all joking aside, Absolute Penis is a work of art, and a tribute to man’s most beloved appendage. It’s a collection of photographs by world renowned fashion photographer Giovanni.

It’s a hardcover, a coffee table book. 100+ pages of speculator pictures, all of the male penis; big and small; cut and uncut; beautiful and less so; erect, flaccid and semi-erect… attached to a variety of male bodies. They are all represented. Each photograph is unique, some plain head-on photos, others artistically arranged like a still life.

It’s a collector’s item only sold via re-sellers, but I found a brand new one on Amazon in pristine condition:

Giovanni’s appreciation for and fascinating with the penis is apparent and in your face and I loved it! It’s not erotic per se, it’s a tribute. Yet the beauty of the penis is in and of itself undeniably sensual.

With a few semesters of (nude) figure drawing, photography and sculpture and into fitness for most of life I do have an appreciation for the arts and the human body in art form. There is nothing shameful about our bodies. Statues and sculptures of naked people can be found all around the world.

Though I tend to hang out in the erotic section of Goodreads, this book belongs in the art section. You might not want to celebrate with a coffee table book dedicated to the penis, but there is no denying that sexuality is a driving force in our lives as well as society. It’s natural and part of our past, present and future!

Absolutely spectacular! Absolutely sensual! Absolutely inspiring! It’s art and a tribute! Absolute penis by Giovanni!
