A little depressing to be honest.

I admit, I'm a little bias when it comes to Madarame Hiro. I love her stories and her art style-it's unique and one of a kind. I also love her characters.

Beautiful Days is a book with multiple stories. The first one is about a child abandoned by his mother and was taken-in by a stranger. Together they lived together as a family while trying to figure out how to handle their living arrangement and their feelings.
The second and the third story are interconnected with each other. Where love is found while everything around them is woven in spite, revenge and deceit.

I have always admired Madarame Hiro's twisted love and complicated relationships. I enjoyed reading them very much, spiced with the distinctive drawing style and humor here and there.

I've only read the first story of this book just now but the the rest, I've read it for a lot of times already. My favorite is Mei and Misato's story, specially the chapter told in Mei's POV. How the relationship progressed is just twisted but sweet in it's own way. I really like them together.

By embracing your love...my love for him has died. Little by little it died.

Neither the art style nor the writing did anything for me. Also, I've come to realize there's a *very* fine line between "romantic" and "creepy".
