3 ☆s I've got a Major Rush Crush!!~

“No. One. Comes. Before. You.”
Make her believe that you stupid ass hat! Cause sure as hell I didn't believe it.

I loved this book But at the same time I was highly disappointed.
I devoured it in 3 hours flat, from 3:30am to 6:30am. SO WORTH IT!! But I felt it getting over too quickly for me.. I wanted more, so many things were missing in this, so many loose ends were not tied and especially the ending.. I was like WTF. First only this book is tiny and then to top it all stuff wasn't complete.
I wanted it not to get over, maybe I just expected A LOT because the first book was SO BLOODY GOOD.. btw, The book was amazing but at the same time it was not..

Rush+Blaire+Sex = *woot woot* HOT!!
The dual pov always wins my heart over. I love knowing what the guy is thinking in time of drama!!~
The book had love hate confusion drama angst and amazing friendship and some hot sex. :P

But towards the end, things seemed very very very rushed, and the ending felt incomplete and abrupt to me.
So many things felt like they were unsolved, scattered. But now Abbi has announced that she will be writing a book 3 for them.. So *phew*
I think she rushed this book up a bit, it could have easily been longer and all the unsolved matter could have been fit in this. I hope she takes her time with the third book for Rush and Blaire and gives us another 5 Star book :D

I am going to re-read this book this week itself because it was too fucking short for my liking and I am pretty sad/mad/pissed/unhappy.

When I saw the book had come out hours early I was all.. "Omfg, Rush is here early!~"

Blaire's back in Bama with a bajo on her knee! She's heart broken.. nursing her wounds.. just trying to escape and then BOOM! A bomb drops! Then the story begins!

Blaire Blaire Blaire!!!

One thing I loved the most about this book, Like more than anything.. More than Rush too was WOODS!! He is like THE BEST.
Then I fell in love with Woods all over again, I mean I just cannot wait for his book to learn more about him!! He's the sweetest person everr!!

I loveee Bethy, amazing friend and sweet chick! :)

Then in the middle of the book, all I could think about was how good this is and I was all giddy happy for Blaire and Rush! I mean her preggy hormones were doing wonders for Rush and us readers too!! ;)

The chemistry, sizzle and sex was ozzing hotness!!

Then I got pissed, Because things were going nowhere and I wanted to beat the shit out of Rush.. I swear he is a stupid stupid jerk!!!! This book was a bit dragged out.. I mean the same book1 drama was being dragged out here.. Nothing new was developing.. Blaire would Run, Rush would follow.. When Rush would run.. Blaire would be like 'I'm insecure'

I wanted to yell at him to get his fucking head out of his ass and just think straight!!
You got to do right by your woman man, I mean stand up for her, stand by her and be the fuck there.. talk shit, love her and make her believe she fucking comes first. Not run off at the first bumpy road. JERK.

Just reading about Nan and her god awful mother was making my blood boil, I hate those bitches with all my being. Such a selfish fucking sluts. Abe too. Spineless bastard.

I wanted a lot more out of this book, there was barely any scene in Rush's house.. I wanted more stuff about Cain too.

All we saw here was he was angry, then he was a hot mess then he was all over Blaire ;) ;) :) Then he was a wuss then he became normal.

There was not a lot about Rush's mom or Abe, I was expecting more drama there.. Even with Nan, I just expected a wayh lot more.. About a lot of things!!!
A lot of things left unfinished between many characters in this book..

I loveddddd Woods Bethy Grant and Ryan! Such nice characters..
But something seemed off about Grant too.. but we'll wait for his book and see..

About the ending..

I love you Abbi, Thank you for giving us so many books in this series because I totally loved all the characters except Nan, the mother and Abe.
The story is magnificent, and your writing ROCKS but I just expected a lot more!!! Can't wait for the rest of your amazing books to come out this year. ;D

Hope the rest of the 3 books in the series are as amazing as the first book! :P
Btw, at the end of all this drama... I still love Rush and Blaire. and Woods the most! ;)

Now... there is a Bonus chapter, go find it here on Abbi's page andddddd..
Ta Ta Ta Ta.. WE ARE GETTING ONE MORE RUSH & BLAIRE BOOK if you guys already didn't know.. hehe :)

So I'll go straight to the point and I'll be very honest about how I feel. Okay...I'm actually disappointed.

I mean, I've waited months for this book and I'm sad that it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Here are the reasons why.

1] Blaire always walking away/denying her feelings for Rush. Blaire being so insecure and reiterating that she and Rush will never work. Ugh.

2] "No. One. Comes. Before. You"--Rush
Really Rush, really?

3] Their main "ISSUE"/CONFLICT. If you've read book 1, you'll know what I'm talking about. I mean, WTF was that "twist?" They've been dealing with that shit since book 1 through halfway of book 2, and then you're gonna reveal that While reading that part, I was just shaking my head, like seriously? You're gonna give me that? I think that's too soap opera-ish.

4] The ENDING. I don't like it. It was ended abruptly. There are loose ends that needs to be tied. If you're gonna end it that way, at least give us an epilogue.

Also, I still hate Nan.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS BOOK? One word: WOODS! While reading this, I'm rooting for Woods and Blaire as a couple as well. What can I say? The guy is PERFECTION. I love it that he's always been there for her when Rush wasn't (which is all the time). LOL. I love that Woods is also getting a book written about him because he so deserves his own HEA :)

But, who am I kidding, despite all the drama and me being quite disappointed on Rush, I still love him and I can't get enough of him ;)

UPDATE: So, as I'm writing this review, I've read that Abbi Glines indeed is writing a 3rd book for the couple. Great news, right? More Rush and Blaire!!!

“No. One. Comes. Before. You.”

I HEART RUSH!! and I loved this book!

Ohhhh this book was just so ADDICTIVE !!! There is something about Abbi Glines’ writing that makes me desperately just want more and more and more!!!

Its the kind of story you can just inhale in one sitting – a quick, deliciously angsty, drama-filled romance.

What made me love it was that I never once, not for one second EVER EVER EVER doubted how right Blaire and Rush were for each other, or how much they loved each other. That was clear and unwavering. That being said, they went through some pretty serious ups and downs, huge insecurities, a lot of mess ups and dysfunctionality along their road to making their relationship work.

At times it was a little ‘much’ for me, but I got the same feeling while reading this book that I get when I’m watching a really well-written TV show — its like, I know that sometimes its just “drama” but I just eat it up!

I’m not going to talk about the plot of this one at all. Its a direct continuation of book #1 "Fallen Too Far" (which should absolutely be read first) and the story picks up 3 weeks after the cliffhanger ending of the first one. There’s a bit of a twist that I suspected from book one that plays out in this book and basically affects the whole general story line. I loved it and loved where it took the characters.

The story was told in chapter-by-chapter alternating POVs so we were never left too long without understanding both sides of the story.

I seriously seriously seriously love Rush. That guy just makes my heart race. He’s hot, swoony, and flawed (not to mention tattooed and pierced). Just… gah! How can you not love him when he says stuff like this:

“There is nothing is rather do than be near you… [I'll] take whatever the hell I can get when it comes to you… I will do anything. Anything, Blaire, just to be near you… You need me, I’m there.”

For the most part I really liked the way he handled things – I mean, sure he kept messing up and I wanted to grab him by the shoulders and shake him a few times but his mistakes were mostly understandable, and let me tell you, that man knew how to grovel. There was just no way you could doubt his intentions. I mean this was all new to him too – the first time he’d actually cared about someone enough to want a relationship… his first time actually falling in love.

It totally warmed my heart how he was never willing to just let any of their issues go. He tried to respect her space but at the same time was always pushing to try and work through them. You could just FEEL how much he was desperately head-over-heels in love with Blaire and you just KNEW that he’d do just about anything to protect her.

“Let me prove it to you. Leaving me doesn’t let me prove anything. You have to stay with me, Blaire. You have to give me a chance… Trust me to protect you and put you first.”

My heart just plain HURT when he messed up, or when unfortunate situations lead to misunderstanding and general angst but at the same time I love the feel that it gave the story – it kept you a little worried and yet totally invested in the character’s lives.

“I love you, Blaire. I love you so damn much it hurts.”

I felt bad for Blaire because for the most part, I understood her insecurities – about not being a part of his world, being reminded of it every day and being surrounded by reasons why they wouldn’t fit together. I liked that she wasn’t weak – she simply had trust issues brought on by all the men in her life, in some way or another, betraying her. And given Rush’s past and his family connections, it was hard for her to accept that she could actually put stock in his love for her.

“She’d lost everyone in her life she’d love and trusted. Why would she believe me? The only men in her life had left her. Betrayed her. She expected nothing else… I wasn’t letting anyone else hurt her.”

“I love her. I will stop at nothing to make sure she’s safe.”

There is some serious hotness in this book – much like in the first one. Some of those scenes had me fanning myself! Definitely adult.

And, rest easy! There is no cliffhanger at the end of this book!!! *whew* But, that being said, you are left wanting ‘more’. It leaves off at a happy place, but it was a bit abrupt. I would have definitely loved an epilogue or just a tiny glimpse into their future but I know there are going to be two more books in this series so, despite them not being focused on Blaire and Rush, I have high hopes of seeing more of them in the future and maybe of getting a giant swoony epilogue at the end of the whole series :)

“No man has ever loved a woman as much as I love you. Nothing will ever come before you. I don’t know what else I have to do to prove to you that I won’t let you down again. I won’t hurt you. You don’t have to be alone anymore. I need you.”

I absolutely LOVED this book and I would definitely recommend this series for everyone!

I had such high hopes for this book but ultimately felt let down. I was disappointed in Rush and Blaire's characters. They didn't have the same presence in this book that they had in the first. They felt robbed of the essence that made them unique and intriguing in the first story. They became carbon copies of the stereotypical hero and heroine whose actions and behavior were totally predictable. Unlike the first book, its sequel felt contrived and somewhat manufactured. For me, what was once original and refreshing became simply run-of-the mill. It saddened me.

I felt the true star of this story was Wood. I fell in love with him and looked forward with anticipation to his scenes. He jumped off the pages and shined brilliantly. I'm very much looking forward to reading his book.

While this particular story did not work for me, I can see why readers are drawn to it. Abbi Glines is one talented author.

Note: I heard there will be another book for Rush and Blaire. I'm sure fans of this story are ecstatic about this news, but in all honesty, this story is DONE. Why not give the readers a few reasonably priced vignettes? They're a fabulous way for authors to give their readers more of the characters they want and love while not jeopardizing the authenticity of their story. Just a thought.

So Readers,do you know who's grinning like a fool right now???

Yup,that's me!!!Sorry,can't help it.

Because of Rushhhhhh.......

Yeah,yeah, I know he worships Blaire.But a girl can dream,right??

Enough said, now about this story....

"He wasn't what sent me running. He was what made me want to stay."

Warning - Please proceed only if you have read the 1st book of this series...Fallen Too Far.

This book starts where Fallen Too Far left off.....

With Blaire's entire world crashed and shattered.

With Rush's one broken and empty.

Blaire is ready to forgive, but how can she

All the lies.

All the pain.

How can she forget that Rush had chosen Nan over her??

She is trying to pick up the pieces when suddenly her world twists once again and leaves her careening.

Something unexpected happens.

And she might just discover that no matter
how far you try to run,it might be......

The best part of this story was Rush's POV. At least for me.

"It had been three weeks, four days and twelve hours since I'd seen her. Since she'd torn my heart out."

When he had taken her in,he had not expected her to own his heart.Own his very soul.

"I don't just love her,she owns me.Completely.I'd do anything for her."

And now that he has lost her,he's ready to do anything to get her back.

Push, pull, demand, beg,.......

So,can they ever get back what they had???

That passion,that flame,that love.....

Read it to find out!!!

Now,my heart grieves, but I have to point out what I did not like.Otherwise it won't be fair.

Like the first book, this one too was very easy to read.It had enough twists and new angles to keep me interested. It was fast paced too.

But what bothered me was sheer dumb decisions made by the characters.

I think Woods was the only rational character in there.Really.Oh and by the way I can't wait to read Woods story next.**sqeee** I think I'm already in love with him.Though I'm not very sure about Meg.And...I'm veering off the topic.

So yes,as I was saying,I did not like their stupid, impulsive, irrational decisions at all.

I'm not adding any spoilers but really I could not help feeling that they were getting a little too melodramatic sometimes.

Yeah, all the woe of this world belongs to you,I get it.I sympathize. But it does get a bit tiring after sometime.

But it's okay.I still enjoyed it.

And the sweet moments made up for it!!

The ending was sooooo cute.I loved it.But I wanted more.

Good news,I think everyone knows it by now,still....we're getting a third book!!!!

Okay one more thing.....I STILL HATE NAN!!!

She is a brat and I do not mean it in a good way. She's dumb and quite frankly still a bitch.

What the hell is up with Grant???? I like him.But why is he taking Nan's side all of a sudden???

This better not be what I think it will be.

Grant + Nan = Aaarghhh!!!!

Huh,let's see!!

That's all for now,Readers!!

“She’s amazing. No… she’s perfect. Everything about her is fucking perfect...I don’t just love her, she owns me. Completely. I'd do anything for her.”

Never Too Far picks up exactly where we left Blaire in Fallen Too Far. She staying at Granny Q’s house with her ex-boyfriend Cain in Alabama. We soon find out that she is expecting and has no plans of rekindling her relationship with Cain but is at a loss as to what to do next. Blaire visits her mom and sister at the cemetery and she receives her answer...Bethy!!!! Love this girl! She is a great friend and makes Blaire an offer that she can’t refuse.

Blaire is secure in her plan to keep Rush as a friend even though she loves him. She feels that Rush will always choose his mother and sister first.

“His sister hated me. His mother hated me. They hated my mother. And I hated my father. For Rush to be a part of this baby’s life he’d have to give them up. I couldn’t ask him to give up his mom and sister. Even if they were evil. He loved them.”

Rush will do anything to be near Blaire. He is a man in love and tries so hard to show Blaire that she can count on him. Rush lays the law down to Nan, he tells her to back off or she will loss all of his financial support as well as him. When he learns of the baby he is hell bent on protecting what’s his.

Nan remains the bitchy redheaded sister who is hell bent on squashing Blaire only this time Rush is having none of it.

Rush is once again all sorts of hot and alpha in this sequel. He has to learn quickly how to be in a relationship. He stumbles along the way but the fact remains that he will do anything for Blaire. Here is my one Rush complaint...Pick up your damn phone, he could have called while he sat vigil by Nan. The internal struggle between his sister and his future had me crazy. Rush quickly gets back on track with a little guidance from a surprise source. He is one hot man in love!

Grant switches sides one to many times for me in this book. I even felt that he may have been the secret lover at the condo.

Woods is the MAN! He never sways in his loyalty, love and friendship. He protects Blaire throughout this book make no mistake he loves her but from the get go does the right thing by her. He appears to play the middle letting Rush know the score but a reader knows he does it out of love for Blaire. Saying that I’m excited for his book is an understatement!

“If you aren’t going after her I am. She needs someone right now. As much as I don’t want it to be you because I don’t think you deserve her it needs to be you.” ~Woods

Yes this reader is Team Woods and I can’t wait till he gets the girl!

I wish there was epilogue or that the book was longer. I would have liked a scene between Nan and Blaire once Nan found out the truth. I want that wench on her knees with apologies or presents!

Overall, I couldn’t get enough of these great characters and I enjoyed every minute of this book. I read it in one sitting so that has to say something. Rush and Blaire were very HOT and STEAMY and the book left me very happy!!

Dear Abbi Glines,

So after reading Never Too Far I needed to correspond and let you know that you've once again squashed my indifference. It wasn't immediately squashed in Fallen Too Far. In fact, I have yet to rate it. I really liked it, but I couldn't seem to put a star with my thoughts. Some things in that book just happened a little too fast and if I'm going to be honest here, Rush's "sweet Blaire" started to creep me out a little. I tried to hear it all sweet and sexy, but it all kept sounding very Hannibal Lector-ish. I got over it though! I got over it and then I got under Rush. Holy hot hell and flaming panties batman! You took it to a new level. Fallen Too Far ended on a very high note and I couldn't wait for the sequel

Now with the risk of making Fallen Too Far feel like the red headed step child, I thought Never Too Far blew it away. Speaking of blowing. Rush's oral fixation. What the hell!? I'm surprised he didn't just take a straw to Blaire's lady bits. It was so deliciously naughty (Pun intended, pun definitely intended).

I also need to hug your face for not drawing out "the chase" or exhausting the "will she, won't she". You handled everything perfectly. I might even turn a trick or two because you didn't love triangle us! Nothing is more annoying than a girl's constant indickcision. Thank God!!

I'm pretty sure you didn't mean for the, "These titties are mine..." comment to be funny, but I was in tears. Literal tears. Purposeful or not, it provided great comic release...I mean relief. Rush pulled off the dirty talk and when he didn't pull it off, he pulled it off by coming across as funny. He was the perfect oxy moron.

This book was 4.5~stars and I thought the pace was perfect. No draggy bits, no skimmage. I was hooked. Overall the series was 4~stars, but four very orgasmic stars. I cannot wait to get a peek when you finally do ADULT! This was pretty damn close so I can only imagine. I hope we get more of Blaire and Rush in the other books because I'm pretty sure I wasn't ready for it to end. Where in the hell was my epilogue ;-)

I may have started out riding the fence with this series, but you yanked me over and smacked some sense into me. Thank you for that and thank you for this series. WRITE ON!

Update March 3
Maybe I just had my hope up way way high. Maybe that's why I ended up giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book. I just found myself wishing that there was more to it. Considering that this was originally meant to be the conclusion to Blair and Rush's story, I don't think I would have been too happy with it. I don't feel that way now, knowing that there is going to be another book, but if this was gonna be it, I would have been pretty displeased with the ending.

Update Feb 27
Abbi said she would write a book 3 if we got Never Too Far to #1 on Amazon. It's currently #2 and she said she's gonna do it!

Hurray for Book 3! She said it probably won't be out till late summer but WOW! I love Rush and Blaire so much and I'm already excited for book 3 even though I haven't read book 2 yet. It's only because if I did start reading I would definitely fail my midterm and my paper on Friday :(

I've done it now. I've spoiled something for myself. I had to go stalk Amazon reviews right? UGH. Excuse me while I spent the next two days like this (until I get my copy)

Update Feb 26
I love how the book has been out for less that 24 hours and there are already 1000+ ratings.
Now I just have to avoid the Never Too Far pages until I get my copy.

Update Feb 25

The first chapter!!!!

In case you weren't already convinced that she's pregnant. Well, it doesn't confirm it but there is a very good possibility that she is prego. I don't know if I'll survive another 24 hours of waiting.

Update Jan 24

There are going to be three, 3, tres, trois books from the Too Far series coming out this year! OMG. I can't even express my excitement right now. Something like this:

Yeah, you get the picture. The first one is Never Too Far, ofcourse. Then there is going to be a book about Woods! (The guy whose dad own the country club and he's just so nice to Blaire and could have been her boyfriend if she wasn't so crazy for Rush.) I loved Woods so much. Then there will be one about Grant, AKA Rush's brother. He wasn't in Fallen Too Far too much but I liked all the parts he was in (well, i liked all the parts of the book anyway) but I might have a soft spot for Grant.

I can't wait. Abbi Gline I love that you are such an amazing and prolific writer.

Update Jan 17
Another excerpt
Again, supports the idea of Blaire being pregnant!
OMG! Abbi Glines why are you doing this to me?

Oh No! On Goodreads it says expected publication is Feb 26th but on her website it says March 12th! Please let Goodreads be right on this one. Please!?

She's pregnant! OMG! What if shes pregnant?
I'm calling it.
Have you read that excerpt?
She's so pregnant!
On the bright side, it can only go up from here, right? I mean, they essentially hit rock bottom at the end of Fallen Too Far.

“No man has ever loved a woman as much as I love you. Nothing will ever come before you.”

Rarely does a sequel to a book you’ve loved and re-read more times than you wish to admit ever live up to its high expectations – you’re afraid the plotline would be thin, the characters taken in a direction you don’t wish them to be taken, the overall ‘feeling’ of the book not as intensely or consistently pieced together. Well, you have absolutely no reason to fear any of that when it comes to this book because Abbi Glines has just helped me achieve a new level of ‘book junkie nirvana’. Never Too Far is EVERYTHING I have hoped it would be and then some.

After the traumatic cliffhanger we were left with at the end of Fallen Too Far, both our beloved characters are emotional train wrecks. Blaire has run away from Rosemary and from the man she loves, and is hoping to find solace in the familiarity of her home town. She is left with nothing in life, no possessions, no plans for the future, no family that she can rely on to help her heal her shattered soul. She craves to have a family again, to feel unconditional love again, to mean something to someone. Everything she has always believed to be true has been shaken, questioned, attacked, and we find our gentle heroine heartbroken and alone.

“I don’t want to be alone… but I am. And I'm scared.”

Rush is battling his own demons after Blaire’s departure. For the first time in his life he has fallen in love with someone body and soul, and for the first time in his life he wants to put her well-being first, before anyone else’s, including his sister Nan’s. His last encounter with Blaire has scarred him deeply because he saw the real effects of what his family had done to her. The memory of her vacant eyes haunt him, torture him and don’t allow him to move on. His guilt for the role he played in Blaire’s heartbreak stop him from going after her again, deep down hoping she would come back to him in her own time.

“She may have had enough time to deal with things. What if she does come back? What will you do?”
What would I do?
I’d beg.

But life is not done throwing them curveballs and very soon Blaire is forced to return to Rosemary, albeit temporarily, and attempt to find her place in the world again. She leaves the safety of her past once more, trading the familiar comforts of her home town for the unknown of a world that has treated her only badly. She bravely takes control of her life and goes back to the one place that broke her.

So what happens when you throw a starving man a bone? He clenches to it and never wants to let go. Blaire’s return has given Rush hope, but he is fearful of scaring Blaire off and making her run away from him again. So he threads carefully, giving her space and time, but his heart and body naturally gravitate towards her and the pull is too irresistible to fight. We see a desperate man, a man who is deeply in love with the woman before him but doesn’t know how to make her trust him again. His desperation is heart-wrenching, playing with our emotions every time we hear his voice and his most intimate thoughts about Blaire. He tries to control his emotions when he’s around her, but his every touch, glance in her direction, need to be as close to her physically as possible give them away.

“I will do anything. Anything, Blaire, just to be near you. I can’t think about anything else. I can’t focus on anything.”

These young lovers are faced with a reality that sets its own pace, making them aware that time is not necessarily something they can freely fritter away. Their biggest obstacle is not the love that binds them together – it is the lack of trust between them. Blaire finds it hard to trust him because all the men that meant anything to her in her life had abandoned her when she needed them the most. She expects Rush to do the same. She accepts it and considers it to be inevitable. But while Blaire might have more tangible reasons for not trusting Rush again with her heart, Rush is unconsciously distrustful of Blaire as well because he is constantly expecting her to bolt. He does not feel worthy of her and he keeps failing her because of that.

“I wondered how many more times I was going to screw up before I ever got this right.”

While Fallen Too Far was ‘Blaire’s book’ because we only heard her voice, Never To Far is no longer only her story. By giving us both points of view and by allowing us to hear Rush’s thoughts as well, he truly becomes ‘our’ hero. We feel for him, we understand him, we struggle with his own inner conflicts. Ms Glines has given us the perfect man to pine after and he is spectacular, inside and out.

The secondary characters are developed even more this time around, we get to know them better, see what motivates their actions and fall in love with a few of them. Especially the one that is getting his own book next – Woods.

This is a book about a love that is all-consuming, a devotion that is truly inspiring, a physical connection that will make your toes curl every time Blaire and Rush share a scene in the story. You will fall in love with these characters all over again and you’ll become invested in them even more. Beautifully paced, skilfully written, I loved every single delicious moment of it.

“She’s amazing. No… she’s perfect. Everything about her is f*cking perfect … I don’t just love her, she owns me. Completely. I'd do anything for her.”

I expected this to be awesome , like the first book.

Unfortunatelly , it wasn't.

Blaire ,in the beginning of this books , is living at Cain's grandmother's house. She is suspicious that something is wrong with her and her fear comes alive.
Her best friend Bethy missed her and she is visiting her in Alabama , in order to make up her mind and make her return to Rosemary.
After an incident, she has to go to Rosemary and face Rush.

We are introduced a new version of this guy.
He is not a bad boy anymore...

Abbi Glines we liked that douche bag .
I cant argue I have a thing for broken hearted guys but seeing Rush like that didn't affect me at all.
Fortunatelly , this bad boy returned at the second half of the book but then I was starting getting irritated by Blaire.

Jesus sweetheart , you were TOO jealous!

He supported Blaire and he completely understood that he shouldt try again with her because her heart belong to Rush.

She is awful!
I'm afraid that if she ever bites her tongue , she will die from her own venom.

Some good quotes

“No. One. Comes. Before You.”

“Listen to me, Blaire. If you try to go anywhere I will chase you down. I will become your shadow. I won't let you out of my sight because I can't live without you. I made so many damn mistakes with you I don't even want to try and count them but I am going to start making things right from here on out.”

“She may have had enough time to deal with things. What if she does come back? What will you do?" Grant asked me.

What would I do?

I'd beg.”

Finally,my favorite part were the couple last chapters.

I think their story is over and there is no need for the author to write a third book about them.
I'm anxiously awaiting for Twisted Perfection.

Towards the middle of the book, I wasn't really liking it, I got tired of the ups and downs. However, the ending totally redeemed it for me.

3/3 ~ Never Too Far bonus chapter:

I just want to start out saying that I LOVE Rush. I think he's a great character...he has all the 'goodies' and he's matured so much. I really enjoyed how he went after Blaire and how much he tempered himself and tried to respect her wishes.

But....I was really disappointed. There are two instances in the book where it seems to be out of character for him. The first one is understandable ~ maybe ~ but the second one, I just can't get over. I mean, come on people, SEVEN days?? What in the heck was up with that?? Hats off to Blaire even though she was at the end of her rope. I really think a phone call would have gone a long way. Ugh...it just makes me sick and it's so hard to be disgusted with him.

And what can I say about Blaire? She's still a spitfire but it kills me that what she went through in the last book has shaken her self confidence. She questions e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g...some things are understandable but sometimes, it was a bit too much.

Thank goodness for the shining stars of the book: Bethy, Woods and Grant. I loved when Bethy showed up in the cemetery and was always there for Blaire. That didn't mean she didn't show her some tough love when she needed it! Woods is really amazing. In the first book, he could've been a bit of a creeper but he has really stepped up to the plate. I Can. Not. Wait. for his book! Grant is still the good guy but something is a bit different with him. I can't quite put my finger on it but OMG...I hope it has nothing to do with Nan!!

Rush + Blaire = some very steamy scenes. I think the hotness level was ramped up a few degrees....phewwww!

“Blaire, tell me what you want me to do. I’ll do whatever it is you need.”

“You’re driving me crazy, Blaire. Insane, baby. F*cking insane.”

“Mine. It’s mine. You can’t leave me again. I need this. You smell so f*cking perfect. Nothing is ever going to be this damn perfect for me.”

...gotta love those hormones!

There were a lot of sweet moments between them as well. I loved when he bought her the bed and the rose petals!! I also got a kick out of it when he pulled out his American Express black card! And I loved the dual POV's!

Most surprising moment? When Abe talked to both Rush and Blaire. Didn't see that one coming but now that it did, I hope something more comes out of it.

The ending that didn't seem like an ending? Yea, maybe I'm just hoping but it doesn't sound like this is the end of Rush and Blaire. I'm sure we will get some of them in Woods' and Grant's books but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another Rush and Blaire.

Favorite quotes:

♥ "Seeing your face. God, baby, I can’t do this. I can’t pretend I’m not f*cking thrilled you’re standing in my house right now.”

♥ “I will do anything. Anything, Blaire, just to be near you. I can’t think about anything else. I can’t focus on anything. So never think you’re inconveniencing me. You need me, I’m there.”

♥ “She’s amazing. No… she’s perfect. Everything about her is f*cking perfect,” I said aloud then shifted my gaze back to Meg. “I don’t just love her, she owns me. Completely. I’d do anything for her.”

♦ Make your move,” Woods warned.

I broke into a run.

♥ "F*ck… I was also gonna cry."

 photo COUPLESLOVE_zps96308c81.jpg

The book starts with a shocking revelation..well maybe not that shocking. I saw it coming, but I'll be damn, reading it had me a wreck. Blaire is trying to move on with her life and being with Rush is not part of the plan.

 photo tumblr_mglkr8AdwR1r8mmrfo1_500_zps76163c9a.gif

There is just one problem. Blaire and Rush are perfect for one another whether she wants to admit it or not, it's the truth.

It does not take long before she is back in Rosemary Beach and facing Rush but press the happy brakes because her reasons are not what you think.

“Hello, Rush,” she said, breaking the silence. The sound of her voice almost sent me to my knees. God, I’d missed her voice.

Blaire needs to make money and getting her old job back is the best option. She knows that she will have to see Rush and on top of that deal with Nan. But right now she does not care.. She's desperate. The bright side is Bethy, if she knows nothing else, she does know that Bethy has her back.

Keeping away from Rush will be pretty hard because he is hell bent on making things right. He wants Blaire back.

'If I was going to ease her back into being comfortable with me I needed to calm down.'

She can't really fight it. And she knows it!

'He was lethal to my emotions and good sense. Distance.'

The story takes off quickly. Blaire can't keeping fighting love. Soon her and Rush are in a heated battle. But..it's not exactly what you might think.

So H O T!!

This book was PANTY MELTING HOT!

 photo tumblr_mhhgf7afSZ1s4g9g0o1_500_zps4cccc426.jpg

Winning Blaire back proves challenging. Mainly because she does not see herself fitting in to his world.

“I saw him today. He was having fun. He fit in. He’s where he belongs. I’m where I belong. I don’t fit in with his world.”

That really pissed me off.

 photo cb8ef72ca1228c84b307ea72bb9d3750_zps0fed6358.jpg

He clears that misconception up and makes it crystal clear.

“No. One. Comes. Before. You.”

Slowly he proves that he is not going anywhere. He proves that he loves her. And a second chance is rewarded.

 photo LOVE-WONTLETYOUDOTHISGIF_zpsa177644e.gif

Then tragedy strikes.

My favorite Lines, scenes and/or characters

Lines that made me laugh out loud
“He’s your man. Say it because it’s true. The guy worships at your altar.” ~Bethy

“Fine. I said my piece. You don’t wanna tell him, then don’t.But when you crack and fuck his brains out, could you not do it in public?” ~Bethy

Lines that tugged at my heart
“You’re my world. I want everyone to know..." ~Rush

“She’s amazing. No… she’s perfect. Everything about her is fucking perfect,” ~Rush

"..Do what I couldn’t. Be a man.” ~Abe

Why I love Woods!

“I know you love her. I’ve never seen you act this crazed in your life. I get that. But Nan hates her. If you love Blaire then protect her from the venom that is dripping from your sister’s fangs. Or I will.”

My Thoughts
I loved it! Read it!

My Ratings

Writing Style- Good
Plot/Storyline- Savory, with cute laugh out loud moments

5 Amazing Rush Crush Stars!!!

“I don’t just love her, she owns me. Completely. I’d do anything for her.”
I have been waiting for this sequel for almost 5 months... For those of you who have read Fallen Too Far, you know how brutal the cliffhanger was. Everything was a mess. I was heartbroken. I was so excited to read this one, too hopefully see everything come together. And I LOVED IT!

 photo 0a55173b-3561-43fd-a49c-08db4aeef4fa_zpsafc80a02.jpg
“I’ll be whatever you allow me to be, Blaire. Just do’t shut me out again. Please.”

I needed for us to move on. But maybe I never would. I’d always have a reminder of Rush.

Never Too Far picked up right where Fallen Too Far left off... Blaire is broken hearted and devastated, back in Alabama staying with Cain’s grandmother. Rush is desperate and hopeless without Blaire. He never thought he would fall in love, and now that he has and he can’t have her, he is just lost. Blaire’s friend Bethy comes to town and talks Blaire into coming back to Rosemary. Blaire has a plan. She will go back to work at the club for Woods, save some money, and in a few months she will be able to start fresh. Somewhere else. She knows seeing Rush will be unavoidable, but they can never be more than friends. With all the family drama, plus a new complication that Blaire is keeping secret, it just won’t work. She has to do what is best, she has something bigger than herself to think about now. When Rush finds out Blaire is back for a while, he will do anything to get her back and keep her with him.
“I will do anything. Anything, Blaire, just to be near you. I can’t think about anything else.”
He is a man on a mission. After a while, Blaire cannot resist Rush Finlay. Not only does Blaire have a secret, but there is even more family secrets/drama between these two...

 photo f77ce6d0-b9b4-4b86-b8b9-9722798bcb78_zps3c73ece8.jpg
It took me a while to warm up to Rush in Fallen Too Far, but not in this one. Rush is so in love and willing to do anything for Blaire. He is more emotional and sentimental in this one, but he is still a hot as hell alpha man too! Best of both worlds!

I’m happy Blaire was able to move forward. I was nervous towards the beginning she wouldn’t be able to. She felt all alone in the world, but she really did have more than a few people who love her and care for her and I was glad she realized that. I was also happy that her dad talked to her, that conversation was crazy- but she needed to know it.

There were so many great secondary characters- Woods and Bethy! Loved them both! I am so excited about Woods book :D He was really great, there for Blaire in the way she needed him without being pushy. Bethy is just an all around great friend to Blaire, plus she is a hoot! I was a little disappointed with Grant in this book, seeing as how much I loved him in the first. Nan was pretty terrible, but that is to be expected. I wish we could witness when she learns the truth. Ugh- what a bitch. Rush’s mom wasn’t really in this one, but I still hate her lol.

I really don’t think it is possible for Abbi Glines to write a book that I don’t love! After being up almost 24 straight hours, I stayed up and read this... Once I started it, it was impossible to put down! I enjoyed every second of this book! A fabulous story with characters you will fall in love with all over again! If you haven’t read these books- you are missing out!!!

Warning: spoilers abound.

Well, I’ll start off by saying that I didn’t hate the entire book, but I hated enough of it to warrant the 1-star rating I feel it deserves. I mean, it had its moments, sure, but for the most part, the bad far outweighed the good. Perhaps I came into the second book with too high hopes. Maybe my expectations were too high. Suffice it to say, I was sorely disappointed.

Never Too Far can be summed up in one word: boring.

Much like the first book, Fallen Too Far, lack of proper editing was an issue for me. There’s still the problem of missing commas and incorrect dialogue punctuation, along with a host of other problems.

My biggest complaint with the first book was Rush himself. I thought he was an inconsiderate jerk and some other not-so-nice things. However, this time around, my contempt has now shifted to Blaire. She got on my nerves and frustrated me beyond measure. She was a martyr to the extreme. For someone who claimed to be so independent, she sure was dependent on a lot of people. She talked a big game, going on and on about how she planned to start over someplace new, but not once did she actually do, well, anything. She made no effort toward her proposed plans. It was nothing more than an empty and half-hearted desire. She was all talk and no action. Everyone liked her, everyone wanted to protect her, and everyone wanted to help her out in one way or another. And she had no problem letting them. She was too nice, too forgiving, and too understanding. I wanted to shake some sense into her. She was a complete Mary-Sue at times—that is to say, when she wasn’t busy being a hypocrite. She was quick to make assumptions and jump to conclusions. She had no self-confidence, which I found extremely irritating. She was a doormat and just plain weak. It's hard for me to root for a character like that.

As for Rush, I don’t know what happened to his character. He was a completely different person, and I don’t mean that as a compliment. I wasn’t a fan of alternating points of view. I could’ve done without Rush’s point of view altogether. It’s just that I found his thought process to be too unrealistic for a guy. He over-analyzed everything, constantly worried that he would somehow upset Blaire. Then again, she didn’t make it easy on him. She misinterpreted everything he said and didn’t believe him, no matter how earnest he was. Of course, this was before he proved himself a liar when he promised Blaire that she would always come first in his life. He was overly emotional and whiny and second-guessed himself far too often. Then, on top of everything else, he got sappy. As a result, when he acted like a possessive, alpha male, I couldn't take him seriously.

Don’t even get me started on the drama involving Nan. The entire situation grated on my last nerve. Every time things would start to settle, something would happen involving her, and we’d be right back where we started. I understand Nan and Rush are close, but she’s no longer a child; she’s a grown woman. So she has daddy issues. Guess what? My give a damn’s busted. Get over it. Rush enabled her and treated her as if she were a delicate flower. I got tired of Rush (and Grant) making excuses for her behavior.

I want my time back. If I could unread this book, I would. It was longer than it needed to be, and for a book with very little plot, it dragged on and on. The repetitive miscommunication and misunderstandings drove me to the brink of madness. They were blown way out of proportion, all for the sake of creating drama, because the plot had nothing driving it. The secondary characters only made an appearance when they could be used as a tool to stir up more drama. It lulled because not even the not-so-shocking pregnancy or Nan's accident were enough to keep things interesting. It was beyond predictable and poorly plotted.

Sorry, but an excessive amount of smut does not make up for lack of plot and character development. Rush and Blaire used sex as a substitute for talking out feelings and working out problems far too often. Rush was more or less Blaire’s human sex toy. To be honest, Rush and Blaire's relationship still makes no sense to me. I have no idea what they see in each other. They haven't had enough time to truly get to know one another, and now with the pregnancy, things are more rushed than ever.

Also, that ending…yeah. Talk about abrupt. Not that I wanted to waste any more of my time, but seriously, an epilogue would’ve been nice.

Never Too Far picks 3 weeks after Rush and Blaire said goodbye to each other ( my heart still hearts from that goodbye) and both Blaire and Rush are Miserable ( so am I since they are not together..). Blaire felt betrayed by Rush because he withheld information from her about her dad, mom, and Nan..

Blaire has gone back to Sweet Home Alabama to nurse her wounds.. then she gets a bomb dropped on her..

Blaire ends up going back to Florida where Rush is and the only friends she has.. she still loves Rush and she's going to need him, but she's determined to keep him at a distance.

Rush is having none of that though and trys to break down her defenses at every oppurtunity.. with a lot of this...

Rush is really good at several things by the way...he has a tongue ring..

Rush screws up constantly!!! Never meaning to.. but he pissed me off so many times I wanted to reach in my Kindle and kick his ass for being so dumb dumb DUMB!!!

Through all of Rush's screw ups though.. I still loved him.. and he and Blaire both needed each other so badly. Her father is a screw up, his sister is a total bitch.. they have so many obsiticals... but one thing will bind them forever and they have to go through so much to get to that special place.. but when they do--- its beautiful

Loved this book so much..... it totally lived up to the hype!

I loved this story, but then again I love Rush and Blaire (notice I put him first). :)

Where to begin. Such an honesty and sweetness to their relationship. The innocent girl from Alabama, and the bad boy son of the rocker. To me, it shouted irony. Blaire was anything but innocent given her life experiences, and Rush wasn’t so much a bad boy, as a boy with a heart, who was craving the love he never had, but always gave away.

I loved the way Rush cared for Blaire, how protective he was, the little ways he showed his love for her. Need an example? He wanted to go with her to buy her a bra for heaven's sake. I mean, let's be real. Going to get sized for a new bra is not a pleasurable experience. However, sprinkle a little Rush Finlay on there, and suddenly, the experience becomes a lot more enjoyable.

The sex was seriously hot. Seriously.

Loved Woods and Bethy, and Grant too. Can’t wait for more of them! I have to admit I didn’t take to Woods in the first story, but I definitely did in this one. I loved how he looked after Blaire. He really cared for her.

Overall, I loved the book, but then again I love the two of them together. You could pretty much tell me they sat together gazing into each other's eyes while slurping bowls of stringy spaghetti and I'd love it.

Thank you Abbi Glines!!

I only have one last thing to say...MORE please!

4 Crush-On-Rush (but kinda mad at him) Stars

"You only deserve what you make yourself worthy of. Do what I couldn’t. Be a man.”

There are some blows that a person isn't capable of handling. A breaking point to sanity. Some truths are not meant to be acknowledged...

Blaine's whole world just crashed. She was settled, at peace and loved. She had Rush and she had a chance in a new life.

But the unexpected truth of her parents' past and Nan, the secret all knew but no one bothered to share with her, has her running away, hurt, confused and pregnant. But Alabama isn't the home she knew anymore and she can't hide from Rush forever. She has to face reality, fight for what she deserves, confront Rush and deal with the people that betrayed her. Will she be strong enough to leave the past behind? Will she emerge a winner and give herself at chance at happiness and love?

Rush has never loved before. But Blaire is worth the effort. Destroyed and confused, angry at himself and the people and circumstance that drove her away, he will have to beg and plead and fight her tooth and nail. If he doesn't screw up everything again.

“She’s amazing. No… she’s perfect. Everything about her is fucking perfect,” I said aloud then shifted my gaze back to Meg. I don’t just love her, she owns me. Completely. I’d do anything for her.”

If Book#1 messed with my heart, this one pretty much shred it...

These two kids mess up and screw their lives. Make bad decisions and fuck up. I swear to God, by the end of the book I wanted to throttle Rush, smother him with kisses, smack him and love him to death...

Special Mentions: Woods, I'm totally in love with you...

Nan... you uppity bitch...

My feelings aside, I really think that these books are awesome. Emotional and real, raw and heartbreaking. A beautiful story of a truly beautiful couple.

And if you are already craving more there is a bonus chapter just for you:

NEVER TOO FAR - The Bonus Chapter

I read book 1 on a whim actually and I should have checked first if it was a series because I usually don't like reading a book if it's a series when the first book is a cliffhanger. I'm half regretting my choice because I'm still heartbroken from the ending of book 1. I hope time flies faster because right now I couldn't get "Fallen Too Far" out of my head.

OMG, it's there already. Can't wait to go get it!

UPDATED February 27, 2013
Okay.This was me...

I was practically dancing around my room once I finally got the book.

It took me 4 hours to finish reading the book and totally worth my lack of sleep the next day.

“No. One. Comes. Before. You.”

I still can't decide if this should be rated as 4.5 stars or a perfect 5, still the rating is pretty so I don't think there's a problem in that score.

I love this book as much as I love the first book Fallen Too Far.

Three weeks have passed since the ending of the first book.

"It had been three weeks, four days and twelve hours since I’d seen her." ~Rush

(Hilarious, how he knows the exact time since he last saw her.)

It tells both the POV of both Rush and Blaire's which I totally love.

I both love and hate how the story goes in terms on how their relationship progressed, still my love for this book was higher than my hate for it.

I guess if you read the book, you'd understand why I hate it at the same time.

Rush totally understands how to handle things when it comes to getting Blaire back and I love him for that. He knows what to do but in some instances there was just some hurdles he needs to overcome (with his relationship to Nan and what happened at the near ending --> which he did thanks to an inspiration or a push by a certain person in other terms Abe, Blaire's father).

Speaking of Blaire's father, that was another shocking truth wherein they wouldn't have these problems in the first place if it weren't for the lies of Georgina (I really hate her! She's my number one and number two would be Nan).

Now, sweet Blaire. As much as I love her too, I hated the part where she had a lot of insecurities. I mean, I understand why but seriously she looks down on herself too much. She also misinterprets a lot of things that involved Rush wherein Rush had to grovel. Though, what surprised me is her acceptance towards her father at the end in which I'm happy too.

The father of Blaire is a weak man but I'm glad that he helped both Rush and Blaire in way. Also, how he truly feels for his family.

Once again, I gotta say I totally love this book.

I'm happy that it's the end but I wish there was an epilogue. I wasn't contented in the ending.

Something I just want to mention about. I can't wait for Woods' story in Twisted Perfection. I'm also happy that it's only in one book but guess what? I'm not sure if I'm gonna be happy with Grant's story.

Well, Abbi Glines has done it again. She gave me another book that I fell in love with. Sequels are often hard to write, but Rush and Blaire had more to tell. I was thrilled with the outcome and I can't wait for everyone to read this, so I can talk about it with someone! There is so much I want to say, but I don't want to ruin the story for you.

I still love all the key players in the story. By the end of Fallen Too Far, I did love Rush. It took me a while to warm up to him, but in this one, I really fell hard. He is determined to win Blaire back. He truly feels remorse over hurting her. And Blaire...I still like her. She has to make some difficult decisions in this book. I felt like she handled them very realistically. She didn't jump in blindly. I still love Grant and anxiously await his story. Nan is still a brat, but we start to understand her a bit better. But the character I loved getting to see more of in this book was Woods. I was on the fence about Woods in the first book, but let me tell you...he will steal your heart in this one, if he hasn't already. He's a great guy.

If you've read Fallen Too Far, you know how it ended. Major life altering secrets were revealed and it tested Blaire and Rush's relationship. What I loved about Never Too Far was that it took time for Blaire to even want to talk to Rush. His betrayal wasn't easily forgotten. Well, now Blaire has her own secrets and she isn't the only one. Everything I thought I knew, was wrong. Glines threw me for a loop a few times in this book.

Overall, I loved it, but you probably aren't surprised. There are some major things happening in this book and I promise you, you will be enthralled until the end. Blaire and Rush's love for each other was addicting. If you thought they had steam in the first book, just wait. This one is even hotter. The ending was absolutely perfect for them. This book also gives a good lead in to Woods' story, Twisted Perfection. If you want romance, steam, drama, and a great love story, you must check this series out.

Well here it is. The drama of the soap opera. Delicious tempting and addicitve. I like never too far. So much groveling. Especially from rush. He grows on me. He really does. He knows how to groveling.

Meanwhile blaire.... she is bit doormat. That traits is very very annoying. How she accept everything rush throws at her. Even she does not deserve it. But i am happy she and rush have their happy ending.

And i know wood gaining his own fan base, i can not help myself pinning for nan. Yes nan. The super villian. The bitch of the bitchiness. I want she have her own happy ending too. She is such interesting character.

** 3.5 Rush-Crush Stars**

I could literally slap myself for waiting this long to write my review.
That being said, I'm gonna keep this short and ever so sweet.

"It had been three weeks, four days and twelve hours since I'd seen her. Since she'd torn my heart out."

I feel your pain Rush!
But now the wait is over for both of us!

I loved Fallen too Far .

It is one of my favorite books so you can't imagine how excited I was to read this book.

Boy, I didn't know I was in for a big surprise.

And it's not a pleasant one, mind you.

So how can a book almost made me want to massacre our whole neighborhood?

One word: BLAIRE .

So, Blaire is pregnant and dealing with it.

Rush is dealing with the loss of Blaire.

There are external characters, like Nan, Grant , Cain, Woods, but other than that, there really isn’t a story line.

All the time, Blaire is like a freaking bomb that will eventually blows off everyone’s asses!

I understand she’s pregnant and she’s emotional.

But God, there’s just no excuse for this. Being pregnant doesn’t make you brain dead!

Fine, you have an issue with the guy who knocked you off, big deal!
But the baby has nothing to do with your fucked up life!

And, she planned on not telling him about her pregnancy at first because she thinks she can take care of the baby without Rush’ help.

Fuck it!
That is just the stupidest thing I’ve ever read!

So,time for more RUSH...

I really felt bad for Rush because this book is not really a big picnic for him.

He does all the chasing.

He does all the things to make their relationship work.

Hell, he is even willing to sacrifice his family for Blaire.

But every time he does a small mistake, Blaire goes all overly-dramatic and threatens to leave again.

The more I read I just felt like I was in bad game of ping pong.

Back and forth...back and forth, Blaire and Rush went.

Fuck that shit!
Give the guy a fucking break!

Moving on to:

Blaire's father, who drops a bomb and I thought...

Nonetheless, this book is also very steamy!
They are so passionate about each other that the pages burn every time they are together!
Rush is a sex god!

There I said it!

As my above ranting proves, Blaire irritated the living daylight's out of me, but the redeeming factor was hot, protective and utterly gorgeous Rush.

Also, was it me or did the ending seemed "rush"ed ?

Sure there’s another book in the works on Blaire and Rush (from what I read), but I just feel like everything should have been wrapped up in this one.

I know I am ranting, maybe because I am angry I waited so long and maybe my high expectations.

With everything said, book 3 better be darn good.

Special Mentions:

Woods, I'm totally in love with you...
The only thing and I mean only thing I liked was Woods and THANK GOD, Twisted Perfection is his story.

I did enjoy it but I cannot say that I am in love with this book like I hoped I would.

If you read my review of Fallen Too Far you would have seen how excited and how messed up it left me.
With Never Too Far I am left feeling...

So, yeah, this pretty much sums it up.

Amazing book!!I love it more than the first book!!!!

In this book Blaire went to live in Granny Q house in Alabama.
Weeks after that she find out she's pregnant and with all the people knowing in their small town she needs to leave before it will show.
She came back to Rosemary and have to inform Rush that she will be staying for a while in a condo she and Bethy will share, and get back to work to save up before she will leave for good. With her morning ickness and Rush sticking up with her and all their family drama.Blaire was torn between her love for Rush and his priority to his family....

"I will do anything.Anything,Blaire, just to be near you.I cant think about anything else.I cant focus on anything. So never think you're inconveniencing me.You need me,I'm there"!!

This book was addictive!!!
I fell in love with Blaire and Rush from the moment I met them back in Fallen Too Far.I loved watching their relationship evolve and the way their story paned out.Never Too Far was jam packed with emotion, love and some serious steamy scenes.

I like Blaire more than the first book!!I like the way she always manages to get back up when life knocks her down.I'm glad she didn't give in easily with Rush even if she love him and still considering options for her life.

And then there’s Rush… *sigh* Rush stole my heart the moment he was introduced in Fallen Too Far.From his piercing, grey eyes, sexy tongue piercing, dirty mouth, tattoos and a body to die for…Add his arrogant, mysterious, hot, cold personality and you’ve got one sexy hero!!I absolutely LOVED just how protective he was over Blaire. He didn’t stop at anything to get his girl back!!!!!

This books is also very steamy! They are so passionate about each other that the pages burn every time they are together!!!!

The only complaint I have is that I wish the book was longer because I can't get enough of Rush....
This was a great, emotional, sexy read that I recommend to everyone. If you haven't read Fallen Too Far do that immediately!!!

The second was way better than the first book in this series. I was told by a Goodreads friend to keep going. Lol.

3.5-4 Stars!!!

I really enjoyed this book. I love Rush!!! He is so sexy!!! I can't get enough of his dirty mouth. It’s so hot!! "sighs" I love Blaire! She has been through a lot in her life but she has still managed to come out of it all as a strong independent woman. I love that about her.

Even though I really liked this book, it could have been longer and a little bit better. I felt like the author rushed through some parts in the book that could’ve been developed better. I was so disappointed with the ending. After months of waiting for this book, the ending should’ve been great. “shaking my head”.

Overall, I liked this book. I’m looking forward to reading Rush and Blaire’s next book and Woods book too!!

Another one I gobbled up in a few hours! This books are New Adult drama at its most Springer worthy! Rush is a giant effing tool and a total moron. If Blaire had any other options in the world, she would have left his dumb ass. But, with no parents, and only a handful of friends, she is pretty much stuck sleeping on the floor (because she can't afford a bed), walking 3.5 miles (because she can't afford a car), and having to apply for medicare to pay for her doctors visits. Meanwhile, Rush has 4 cars, a giant house with beds in every room, and has never given money a second thought. The disparity between the 2 is striking, but it makes me even more irritated with Rush for not even wondering what her life is like. He never bothers to ask and then is shocked when he finds out she had to walk 3 miles because he left her standing in the driveway without a key to get in, or that she was sleeping on a friends couch and then eventually on the floor because she literally has NOTHING. Like, dude, you know what she has been through, how is it you keep missing this shit!?
And what the fuck is up with Grant? Sometimes he is Team Nan then he does a 180 and is Team Blaire. His mood swings are giving me whiplash.

Better than book #1 but still far from the 5 stars I gave it when I first read it 9 years ago.
