Obviously I read this with my little boy. It’s not the sort of book I’d have gone with for my own private reading. So, did I like it? No. Still, it was nice time spent with my son.

Meg and Charlie live at the pet hotel. They take care of all of the guests staying at the pet hotel. Meg wants a new dog and Charlie wants a new kitten. In the middle of the night they hear something and they think it is a bird. They have a mystery on their hands. They also have to take care of an extant tracker who is a retired police dog named Watson.

Charlie and Meg are very alike. In fact they are twins that both love animals, adventures, and mysterys. They dont have much diffrant about them, although charlie is a cat person and Meg is a dog person. But they both love all animals and love working at the pet hotel. They both love adventures and are trying to figure out the mystery in the hall, Watson helps them figure out who it is and who stole their hamster food.

I thought that this book was cheesy but good. Its very short and fun to read. It reminded me of how easy reading books used to be. They could have done it a little diffrantly and made it more interesting and fun. I think it is a good book for a quick read and quick fun.

VERY boring

What do hamsters; birds, cats, dogs and a police beagle named Watson have in common? They are all guests at the Pet Hotel of course! In the third installment of pet hotel series, a mystery erupts after a disturbing noise wakes up siblings Charlie and Meg. Charlie and Meg are twins who help their family run a very special overnight hotel just for pets. Soon after they discover the noise was being caused by squeaky hamster wheels. In addition, they also notice another mysterious animal has been eating Hamster Crunchies, a special hamster treat. With their temporary pet guest, Watson the police dog, they begin to start sniffing out clues. Watson leads them to a pigeon and the pigeon leads them to a girl named Polly. As it turns out, Polly raises carrier pigeons and uses them communicate to her grandfather. The mysterious Hamster Crunchies eater was one of Polly’s pigeons who happened to come in an open hatch on the roof of the Pet Hotel at night. With the latest mystery solved, Charlie and Meg return to the Pet Hotel and prepare for their next adventure.

Scattered with black and white illustrations throughout the book, Pet Hotel is a fun read that would be sure to delight to young readers. Adding a mysterious twist to the story is sure to keep readers engaged in the story.

The only reason I'm reviewing this book is because I do like it, and I want to say that I've read all the books in the series. I don't want to have to go and write the review so the fourth book, so I just want to say I like it here.
