Jude is a drummer. The drummer Lucky has been in love with since she was a little girl. When she started out her career. She never thought about how sheltered she has been. She doesn't know that not everyone is who they seem to be. Will Jude only ever be the person she idolized? or will he show her the real Jude?
Lucky Break was a very quick and very cute Rockstar Romance. Olivia aka Lucky has just gotten her big break. She went from nobody, to touring the country over night. She's not quite a big name yet, but once the hottest drummer on the planet joins her band, her name is everywhere. It probably helps that she's caught kissing him. But are these feelings real, or does what happens on tour stay on tour?
Lucky Break was different than other Rockstar Romances that I've read, and not just because both love interests are musicians. There's actually two romances happening here and the POV alternates between Lucky and her best friend, Jordan, rather than between the love interests. This was odd to me at first, but I ended up liking it, even though neither romance gets enough page time. I really would have liked more about Jordan, since she's going through a rough time, but is still there for her friend. I think she has an interesting story to tell.
In the end, I liked Lucky Break a lot. There's nothing too special or memorable about it. It's a pretty standard Romance. It's a bit of a whirlwind, but that's Lucky's life now. The only thing that annoyed me about the romance between Lucky and Jude was that at one point he tells her that he's wanted her "for so long" when they've only met a week ago! Stop the madness! A week is not that long to keep it in your pants!
Who doesn't love a book with a hot bad boy rock god? I know I love them!
Lucky has lived a very sheltered life, now she's getting her big break and going out on tour! Rock God drummer Jude Morrison get's added to her band as her drummer and well they've got some major chemistry!
I loved reading about Lucky learning how to navigate the music world and dealing with jerks who kept telling her she was a "bigger girl" and that just doesn't sell.
I, ALMOST SIT ON MY KINDLE ON THIS ONE BECAUSE YOU KNOW SHE DID WHAT SHE WAS WINING EVERYONE DID TO HER, SHE JUDGED A BOOK FOR THE COVER... I´M SO GLAD THAT HE WAS MORE WHAT CAN I SAY MATURE... AND DID THE RIGHT THING.... SO I LIKED IT c:
Okay so what can I say about this book…I really didn’t like it! The story was soooooo boring and I really think if the book was about Jordan and Dylan.
Quite liked this book but it didn't set me on fire. Lucky is a naïve girl heading into the music business and her first tour with a band. An easy read with a predictable ending just not enough story for my liking. A good easy read.
I enjoyed this one. Starting out in the music business can be difficult. When Lucky meets the drummer she grew up fantasizing about, is he anything like she thought he would be? Would he take her serious as a musician? I enjoyed their story.
I liked but didn't love this book. I wanted this book to be sexier. I know this author can be sexier, I am not giving up on her yet. I guess I would lable this one a YA.
Fun story about a female singer named "Lucky" who is lucky enough to acquire her rock idol drummer for her band. Love ensues, but she of course doubts it.
