“Annamarie and Magdalena” is a supernatural thriller that begins where “Gypsy Spirits” ended. Annamarie walks home from the ordeal in the pines. Certain no one will ever know of her involvement, she tries to settle into the home she inherited from Daniel’s grandfather just two weeks earlier.
Daniel, refusing to accept his own death, has other ideas, and he joins his spirit with the spirit of his best friend, Garret. What Daniel doesn’t count on is that Annamarie is protected by her great-grandmother Magdalena’s spirit, and her Gypsy spirit family. Annamarie’s unexpected pregnancy drive Daniel to plot to steal his child while Magdalena does all she can to protect mother and child.
Daniel’s evil follows and torments Annamarie in every aspect of her life. Magdalena with the aid of Josef, Annamarie’s great-grandfather, begins a vicious battle of the spirits. Will good win over evil? Will Daniel’s evil be contained? Who will survive? Will Annamarie’s baby be safe or a victim of her father’s evil plan?

"The Vengeance Of Spirits Is Building"
This is the second book in the series, Gypsy Spirits, by prolific author Marianne Spitzer. In this novel, Annamarie Logan walks out of the dark pines ... alone, at night. No one will know that Daniel is dead ... until his body is found below the cliff on the rocks. She'll never be considered his murderer. She has a different life ahead of her. She's been married only six weeks, she's 19 years old, and now a widow. She also is very slow in letting anyone know that she also is pregnant. Magdalena, her trustworthy spirit, vows to keep Annamarie and her baby safe. Will Daniel be able to reappear as a spirit? Will he dwell in the big home now belonging to Annamarie? Yes, he will be a mischievous spirit whispering to his mom that she will get the Logan house. The main characters from the first novel are Annamarie's parents, Paula and Theo; Daniel's parents, George and mean Maureen, who is still out to be vindictive toward Annamarie, especially when she learns about the baby to arrive. There is also 'Bulk' who has started using his given name Eddie and is working in construction in Arizona. Of course Magdalena is always there for Annamarie, but it only seems as an empty promise as Daniel's spirit appears to still provoke and terrorize Annamarie. He doesn't want her to live in his grandfather's house either and he's going to cause a lot of unrest for Annamarie. A week after Daniel's death, as Annamarie and Elaine, the housekeeper, are at the old house, a gruff man bulls his way through the front door saying, "Daniel killed my brother, now I'm going to kill you" as Annamarie stands facing him. All-in-all, this story continues on with more stress, mystery, and death. It's another compelling story, excellently written and edited. Now, I am 50 percent into the 3rd Book, "Lena." And in this episode, the battle is on between more spirits and even the townspeople. It will knock your socks off, and it is very fast paced compared to Books 1 and 2. It's REALLY a very suspenseful thriller!
