The story is moving forward but I can't say that it is getting better. The thing I liked most about this book was the ending, partially because I knew what was going to happen in the rest. It is predictable where it was going from the beginning. The characters continue to make the same stupid mistakes over and over again, always finding themselves being held prisoner somewhere by a madman. Shouldn't they have figured out yet that they need to be more careful about who they go to for help? You are in a life or death situation and instead of being smart you keep running to someone to help you and they betray you every time. You have weapons and do not use them because it will make you a killer, not if they are trying to kill you.
I know 16 year olds are not adults but even they can adapt to a situation and not act so dumb. I will be waiting for book 5 and hoping for the best.
“The Oz virus continues to spread... The death toll continues to rise...”
The fourth book of J.L. Harden’s The Secret Apocalypse series continues the story. Rebecca and Maria go across the desert to try to find the fortress and their friends nd encounter the dangerous man in the gas, they get separated and then connect again with Ben....to dire consequences
This book was shorter and in one setting, easy to listen to.
Main Characters: Rebecca, Kim, Maria, Ben Other Characters: Dr. Hunter, General Spears, Man is gas mask. Places: Australia
I truly love this mans work. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat. Maybe one day they will make a movie about this. It would b a new form of zombie franchise. Highly recommended to everyone
What a load of crap. This gets more and more unrealistic and it's just stupid. There are so many ideas going on, fun ideas, but together they make no sense. I'm sorry to say it, but this series may be my biggest disappointment of the year.
