Our witchy circle of students find themselves in complicated matters when Takigawa, herself a witch, brings mischief to them with her own circle of friends that creates conflict between the two groups. However, a positive does come out in the end. A- (91%/Excellent)
Unfortunately, this was my least favorite volume. I didn’t find the Noa and friends conflict as interesting or investing as past plots. It just lacked the intrigue and seemed obvious rather than stealthy. Knowing it’ll get plowed through in the entirety of episode 8 of the anime doesn’t help. And it actually didn’t feel rushed when I rewatched it. Plot twist! It was paced well.
But I did like seeing more of Noa and Yamada’s interactions, and the bonus chapter was pretty funny. Let’s see where the foreshadowing at the end of the volume leads.
Still think some panels in this volume reinforce my headcanon that Miyamura is bi FIGHT ME
what is it with witches and helplessly following Yamada around? The Noa arc wasn't as interesting as the previous one, but the president is really suspicious!
When I first saw the anime adaptation of this series, I know I'm going to read its manga soon. And the time has come, haha.
It's pretty obvious that I love the anime, and my! I couldn't be happier because I love the manga as well. The drawing were so good and those facial expressions were hilarious!
I also love the story line, I know witches idea can be cliche, but I love how the author made this story different. Why it was different? You've got to find it out for yourselves ;)
It was doing pretty good actually until after the part of the first ceremony. I think they just added a twist to it to make it longer and I'm not specially a fan of those lots of memory lost moments. But oh well, the author redeem herself because of that very cute HEA! What more could you wish for eh?
Still has some boys will be boys behavior and some chikan behavior but I am really enjoying it. It makes me laugh and I really like the art. All the characters look different are very easy to tell apart. The plot seems to be moving along well. I like both Yamada and Urara Shiraishi so much. I am really enjoying this manga.
The way the arc just suddenly ends sucks, the three friends are like “ehh we’re gonna go alone for the rest of the school life” they literally showed how serious they were about their friend group and now they’re splitting?? Makes no sense.

Quick thoughts: The drama is gradually ramping up as the series progresses to nice effect. I really like the twists and involved in the story of Noa and her friends.
Well, Noa's story wasn't that good but I was intrigued about the Volume 2 that she have and information is getting revealed one by one. This is getting interesting, yey!
We finally find out what Noa is really up to. What her power is and why she’s causing all this trouble. It gets messy there in the middle, but it’s a surprisingly sweet story by the end, a true friendship coming to light. Her witch power is also hard to deal with, I imagine; I know Yamada has a hard time with it.
In this, of course, we also see how close the main group is, how they’ll fight for each other, and how determined they are to find out all they can about the witches. There’s a little more hinting at a romance between Yamada and Urara, of which I am in favor.
This series is just so much fun. The comedy is well-done, exaggerated and sexual and funny. I’m also enjoying the group of friends and how it’s expanding, and even though I can’t remember anyone’s names, I do remember each character.
It's already the second semester and everyone is looking forward for the culture festival. The club is planning to make a yakisoba bread shop but in order to be approved by the student council president, they have to take care of a troublemaker group among the freshmen who was being controlled by a witch, Takigawa Noa. He went straight to Noa, but got called a freak in trying to kiss her. The club is now planning to get more info through her pawns on how to get a hold on Takigawa Noa.
This volume is kinda dramatic as the back stories of the new key characters was revealed. As I arrive to the last chapters of this volume, I suddenly began to like Noa, dammit. I really like her aggressiveness towards Yamada. Can't wait to read the next volumes.
OK, la nuova streghetta non mi piace per niente! E nemmeno i suoi compagni.
