Delicious is book two in the Big Sky Pie series by Adrianne Lee. First, let us just gaze at the cover of this book. Who needs hot, sexy men on the cover? I can just smell the blueberries in this beautiful pie. And blueberry is the pie of the month at the Big Sky Pie Shop. It seems as though I have an addiction to books centering around shops that sell sweets. Romance just seems to go hand in hand with sugar, right?!
Jane Wilson can’t believe her luck. She has the best job in the world. She is head pastry chef at the Big Sky Pie Shop. This is only step one of her dream, though. She has her life mapped out, and it does not include a man, marriage, or children. Jane’s mother, Rebel, seems to be a marriage addict. She has been married six times and has announced her impending nuptials to Romeo Taziano who was in fact, husband #2. So Jane sees it as her responsibility to keep her mother from making the same mistake again. One problem! Everytime Jane gets anywhere near Romeo’s son, Nick, aka, The Devil, aka, Mr. Delicious, Taziano, her ex-step brother, her hormones go wild. Doing the Mattress Mambo with the Tazmanian Devil most definitely was NOT in the plan.

Nick Taziano is a marketing specialist and is proud of the business he has built. Now he is ready to settle down, get married and have children. He never had that as a child and wants it for himself. He couldn’t have been more surprised when his Dad, Romeo, announced he was remarrying Rebel. Nick was even more surprised when he saw Jane for the first time. This is most definitely not the Jane he remembered from his childhood when Rebel and Romeo were married the first time. After the first kiss, though, Nick knows he has a problem.
Molly McCoy has hired Nick to do the advertising for Big Sky Pie. They are finally going to have their big grand opening with all the bells and whistles including a big pie eating contest. You can imagine Nick’s surprise, though, the first time he walked into Big Sky Pie when who did he see wearing the chef’s hat but Jane herself!
“It hit Nick every time he walked into Big Sky Pie, a smack to the olfactory senses that could knock out whatever bothered a man and infuse him with a feeling of arriving at a safe haven. A reinforcement of the old adage about the way to a man’s heart being through his stomach.”
As Nick and Jane join forces to convince their parents that remarrying is not in their best interests, they end up fighting their own attraction to each other as well. They don’t even like each other! So why won’t their hormones behave?
I really do love this series. Something about this pie shop. When Adrianne describes the sights and smells, I can see it, and I can smell it. And, oh my gosh, would I ever like to taste it! The pies are all so mouth watering. The characters, both primary and secondary, are all endearing. I most definitely will be continuing on with this series. Now excuse me while I go and buy myself a blueberry pie.

3.5* but rounded up for the twist at the end.
These books are super cute and sweet. You know you are always going to get a HEA and a little bit of spice.
The trend in these seems to be that the women are very strong willed and not entirely sure they want to have a 'romance'. The men on the other hand, pursue the women with a determination that gets the 'forbidden' desires raging. It is an interesting change from the norm.
I wont include a summary of the book. It is just too simple to even try and re word it for a review (IE read the synopsis goof ball).
This one did have a little bit of a twist at the end that I wasn't really expecting. I thought it had wrapped up with a pretty sparkly bow then it kind of fell apart for a second.
Never fear, when reading these you will not get a cliff hanger. They don't exist in this sweet little pie shop. Each book showcases a different woman so each story seems to get wrapped up within one book (yay!)
I will continue this series at a leisurely pace. They are fun and super sweet, just what I need every once in a while.

A five pie salute for Adrianne Lee's Delicious, book two in her Big Sky Pie series.
If you haven't already read Adrianne Lee's novella Delectable, book one in her new contemporary romance series Big Sky Pie, please do so immediately as the next book in her series, Delicious, has just been released and you'll want to savor each slice of this scrumptious series.
Lee captures the reader with the way she is able to vividly convey her characters emotions, as I noted in my review of Delectable. Delicious is a more traditional romance story than Delectable and Lee's sensitive and evocative style make it a must-read.
This series set in a small town in Big Sky Montana introduces characters that touch the readers hearts as they turn each page. A warning though, especially in Delicious, that you may feel the need to be snacking on blueberry pie, turnovers, and jelly, as each page resonates with the aroma and warmth of the Big Sky Bakery kitchen under the direction of baker and heroine, Jane Wilson.
Hero Nick Taziano, best friend of Quint from Delectable, has a bad boy flair and a player reputation. When Nick and Jane, former step-siblings, find themselves thrown together as their parents want to re-marry sparks begin to fly between these former teen rivals.
Along the way there's a pie eating contest, some tension between bakers, and some very sexy and hot romantic action. Lee has a real talent in keeping the reader engaged and involved in her character's lives. I'm quite looking forward to the next installment of Big Sky Pies, Delightful, where Lee will let us know what happens with Pie Shop manager Andrea (to be released in March).

I enjoyed Delicious. It was a sweet, cute and fun read. It was also a little bit forbidden. It was a quick and easy read.

Delicious is the second book in the Big Sky Pie series and it was a fun read. Jane is horrified to learn that her oft married mother, Rebel, is remarrying husband #2, Romeo. Not only does Jane blame Romeo for breaking up her parent's marriage but he also has a son that Jane considers to be just short of the spawn of Satan. Nick, the aforementioned spawn, comes into town to work on an ad campaign for Jane's boss but Jane doesn't recognize him at first and finds him very attractive. Once all of the names are out on the table, the attraction is still there but the will to follow up isn't on Jane's part. Nick feels differently and wages a camapign of his own.
This is a really cute story with a theme that has been done many times before. That said, I was happily reading every page right until the end. I am always impressed when a writer makes a tried and true romance theme seem new and fresh by how the theme is played out and the characters are written. Jane and Nick are interesting and the relationship develops at an interesting pace with stops and starts all the way through. I liked seeing the characters return from Delectable and the exerpt at the end of the book from the next in the series, Decadent, looks really good.

This book was so unhinged. After reading battle royal I swore I’d never read another baking romance but I read the summary of this one at half price books and it was about step-siblings so I had to get it. It was also like $3. The ending was pretty funny. The book exceeded my expectations

Delicious by Adrianne Lee is a fast-paced and engaging romance. This second installment in the Big Sky Pie series finds former step-siblings Nick Taziano and Jane Wilson dismayed over the news of the upcoming remarriage of their respective parents. Equally troubling is their unexpected attraction to one another. As if their relationship isn't already complicated enough, they are also thrown together professionally when Nick is hired to publicize the pie shop where Jane is the pastry chef.
I really liked Jane in Delectable (the first book in the series) so I was surprised by how much she initially irritated me in Delicious. She comes across as incredibly judgmental of both her mom and Nick. Instead of facing her problems head on, she runs away and avoids both her mom and Nick. As if Jane does not have enough to deal with, she is also plagued by self-esteem issues and an ambitious co-worker.
By about the middle of the novel, my feelings for Jane slowly began to change. I always liked her relationship with her dad and once she becomes less defensive and actually talks with her mom, Jane is much more receptive to her remarriage to Nick's dad. While she lacks confidence in her personal life, professionally, Jane is very self-assured and the scenes in the pie shop are wonderful. Once Jane's animosity toward Nick diminishes, their relationship begins to evolve.
Nick is so charming and personable that I pretty much fell for him right away. He is easygoing, confident and comfortable in his skin and these qualities make him an easy character to like. Although he, too, has a few qualms about his dad's remarriage, he is more open minded about the upcoming nuptials. But it is Nick's attitude toward Jane that really endeared him to me. He fully embraces everything about her and he doesn't make any effort to hide how much he admires and desires Jane. Nick is always honest about what he is looking for in a relationship and I like how both he and Jane handle this part of the storyline.
Nick and Jane's romance simmers on the backburner for much of the story. Sexual tension underscores most of their interactions and Jane fiercely resists her attraction to Nick. Their sex scenes are tastefully written and mostly take place off screen. The conflict between them is realistic and beautifully plays out with a surprise ending that I absolutely loved.
Many of the characters from Delectable make guest appearances in Delicious and I enjoyed getting to knowing them a little better. Nick, Quint and Wade are a great support network for Nick and I confess I am very eager for Wade's story. Jane becomes closer to her boss Andrea and I'm thrilled that Andrea will find love in the next Big Sky Pie novel. Co-worker Bibi is one of those characters you love to hate, but I wound up falling just a little bit sorry for her in the end.
Delicious is a wonderful addition to Adrianne Lee's heartwarming Big Sky Pie series. It can be read as a standalone novel, but you don't want to miss a single installment of this lovely series.

What do you do when you find out that your parent is remarrying their spouse and your going to be step-siblings, again with someone you hated? You lust after them and try your hardest to fight it, Nick and Jane may not have liked each other growing up but now they want each other and they are getting together to try to stop their parents from getting remarried. Can they keep their parents apart and their hands off each other? I liked this book, Nick came off as a bit of a devil may care bad boy but I thought he was sweet, he just had a playful side. Jane had everything planned out, while yes I do admire that, after awhile her narrow mindedness and the hardline she drew started to get irritating. There were plenty of funny parts, there isn't any steam up your kindle sex scenes, the scenes that are there aren't explicit but you do know what's going on. I thought this book was a good read.

Another book with delightful story and recipe at the end to let us salivating .
The House of Pies, Big Sky Pie was opened and their chef, Jane, replacing Molly McCoy while she is recovering from a heart bypass surgery, doing sales leverage with her wonderful recipes. But Molly wants to expand the business because she knows she can.
What Molly could not know was that the person hired to do the marketing and site, a friend of her son Quint, Nick, for some time had been Jane's 'brother' , when her mother and his father were married.
The marriage did not work, and despite Jane's mother to marry four more times, Nick's father never recovered from their divorce.
And worst of all, the couple had reunited in Las Vegas and wanted to remarry .
Although not wanting to be together, Nick and Jane join forces to discover a weak point in that relationship and prevent their parents from committing the same mistake.
More difficult than figuring out why their marriage had not worked in the past, it was Nick and Jane were always together. The chemistry between them was beginning to boil and the attraction grew every time they met.
Jane had plans for her future and could not engage a relationship right now. Nick was now ready to settle down and have a wife and children. With so many different opinions and plans, they had everything to even begin a romance. But how to fight when the unexpected spice makes food as tastier?
This series is not meant to bring long stories, but stories that make the reader connect from the start. And this occurs here.
Jane appears in the earlier book , at the time of her hiring to work as a chef. Her life story and why their plans are so well arranged are explained throughout the book .
Nick is a nice guy , a good friend of his father, who above all want to see him happy . And the same principle being against their (re)marriage, he comes to his senses that his father always loved Jane's mother, so why not support them? The problem now would be to convince Jane.
The pace of the story is good.
Positive point : I like the way that Adrianne builds each character. Simple and direct stories with viable end.
Negative point : the plot was cohesive, good, but I liked it so much that I wanted a bigger story.
Now I have to wait for the next releases .

Positive point : I like the way that Adrianne builds each character. Simple and direct stories with viable end.
Negative point : the plot was cohesive, good, but I liked it so much that I wanted a bigger story.
Now I have to wait for the next releases .

If I could live in a bakery and read books all day, I would. But since I can’t, I do enjoy reading books about food. And love. And loving food.
Delicious deserves 4 big, yummy, juicy stars for those reasons and more. Adrianne Lee gives her readers mesmerizing descriptions of baking pies, wonderful characters, and a fresh take on love.
Nick and Jane run into each other in their 30s… years after having met and hated each other as teenagers. They realize they have to work together — and help each other sort out some personal problems along the way. The details around their past (read for yourself, no spoilers here) were a first for me – and I’m a romance junkie!
The plot is fun: advertising agent falls in love with head pastry chef…. who works at the bakery he’s doing a huge campaign for. Their friends and family are positive influences, their problems are real but can be overcome, and there’s quite a bit of flirting going on. Delicious made me happy!
I loved that Delicious showed a career-oriented female protagonist and a ready-to-settle-down-but-still-macho hero. I lapped up the excellent dialogue: Nick and his friends talked just like the guys I know. I thought that every character was developed precisely. I got the right amount of backstory for the main characters and secondary characters, enough so I felt like I knew them, but without extraneous details. Most importantly, I loved that Nick and Jane’s heartbreak touched me without being angsty, and their love warmed my heart without being smarmy.
The à la mode was a happy-ever-after that was simply perfect for Nick and Jane… and for me.

If that weren't trial enough, having the Tazianos back in their lives brings up uncomfortable questions and uncovers long-buried family secrets. Jane is forced to rethink what she has always believed about her parents, their marriages--and even herself.
This is a very well-done follow-up to the first book in the series, Delectable. Jane's and Nick's challenges, both personal and professional, are nicely developed and handled. It's especially nice that Jane's professional challenges relate more to growing into being a manager who can handle a difficult subordinate, and not a supposed baking difficulty for someone who's been baking seriously since she was a pre-teen.
Lee gives us a gentle but well-done romance, with good and thoughtful character development.

I absolutely loved this book!!! WARNING: This book may make you crave pie!!! A LOT!!! I also suggest you read this book in private and not in public because it is TOTALLY possible you will "Woop" out loud. Followed with lots of laughs and lots of "Awe's".
You are literally rooting and cheering on Jane and Nick's relationship from the beginning. And the happily ever after, when it comes, (finally) brought tears to my eyes. Jane is totally relatable and totally lovable. And Nick is a total hunk who deserves it all and who actually wants it all. I might have to keep him as a 'book boyfriend' for awhile.
Im even having trouble starting a new book because my heart is still stuck in Delicious and Big Sky Pie. Im so so sad to see this story end. In saying that, I am so ready for the next Big Sky Pie Novel. I will most definitely read them all!! I am now an Adrianne Lee fan. Thanks so much Adrianne Lee for writing such an awesome book. I can't wait to see what's next!

A beautiful follow up to Delectable by Adrianne Lee! If you haven't read it, please do! I think it will help you understand this book a little more. As the books are set in Big Sky Montana.
The main character of this story is Nick Taziano and he is the best friend of Quint from Delectable. Oh yeah ladies, he is a bad boy. You gotta love them! Enter Jane, Nick's use to be stepsister... Who might be his step sister again, since their parents want to remarry!!! However, their chemistry is hot... Would it be weird to get with your use to be err step sister?
Of course this wouldn't be a Big Sky book without some kind of pie involved! There is a pie eating contest and there is some well things get a little hot under the apron! Of course there is some YUMMINESS!!!
I give this installment of the Big Sky series a 4.5. I think the character development in this book is amazing. I love Nick and Jane and of course the rest of the Big Sky characters!!! ~Anna

I loved this book! This is my second time reading it. I didn't write reviews then. Jane is grown but all her feels and emotions are from her youth. Angry with her mother for leaving her dad, marrying another man and bringing in the Devil, her step-brother into picture. She has thrown her life into being the best pastry chef. Nick has been growing his business for years and is getting lonely traveling all the time. He is ready to settle down, get married and have kids. It seems their parents have thrown them both for a loop. They want to break them up but it seems Nick wants a lot more. Jane is focused on the future. Things don't always go as planned and love is no different. Pie, love, and family. Nothing better.

I liked this second book in the Big Sky Pie series. The characters are a fun bunch, and their situations are realistic, both serious and humorous. This book is focused on the pie baker and her soon to be step-brother, for the second time. I recommend this series to anyone who likes a short story with a little romance. While this book can be read as a stand alone, it would be good to read the first book in the series before this one.

Book two of the Big Pie Sky series. I enjoyed it but felt the physical romance part was lacking compared to the other two books I have read. The story is entertaining and Adrianne Lee definitely knows how to tell a story and bring out the personality of her characters. The books are linked well and are actually like a single story.I dislike the abrupt ending of this book also. Good read.

I really tried my best to like this, but most of the aspects of this plot made me too uncomfortable. I also saw no chemistry between the main characters and the ending felt too rushed and forced. The first book was definitely better. I will probably never think about this again.

Delicious (Big Sky Pie #2) by Adrianne Lee is the second foodie book in Big Sky Pie series, and this book was just as tasty as the first one. This story is just like Sweet Blueberry Pie, melt in your mouth sweetness with a pinch of the light heartedness. I love how we got to revisit the characters from book 1, got to meet new characters as well, and get a HUGE helping of HEA in the process.
Jane Wilson was hired to be the new pastery chef at Big Sky Pie. This is really her dream job and a stepping stone for her to realize her dreams of moving to Paris, working with some of the finest pastey chefs in the business, and eventually, opening her own shop. Just when things seem to be working out for Jane, her wedding obsessed mother, Rebel shows up with the big announcement that she is re-marrying one of her ex-husbands, Romeo. With memories of her time with Romeo and his son Nick "The Devil" Taziano, Jane will stop at nothing to convince her mom that this is a big mistake. But when Jane finds herself in a hot liplock with the devil himself, and realizes that the two of them will need to work togethter on a ad campaign for Big Sky Pie, she is beginning to wonder if she has bitten off more than she can chew.
Nick Taziano is a workaholic. He doesn't have time for a serious relationship. When is dad calls telling him that he is about to get re-married to Rebel, all Nick can think about is how Rebel broke his heart, and how Nick had to put up with is stepsister, Jane the Pain. But what do you know, the Pain has blossomed into a beautiful swan and one look, one kiss, one touch does not seem to be enough for Nick. Knowing that he should keep is distance, knowing that the two of them are on different paths in life, personally and professionally, doesn't seem to register with Nick. Nick and Jane will need to make a choice, give into the feelings that they are both feeling, or run for the hills. But sometimes, when things are too tempting, you just need to go back for more.
What I loved about Nick and Jane is that when they first met, after all of these years, they really had no idea who the other one was, but the connection, the white hot sparks of interest were there. They fought it of course, but like any good book, they keep being pulled together. Like to magnets they dance around the issue, they come together, and push appart, but in the end, they keep coming back for a second helping. I loved the humor of this story. Some of the situations that Nick and Jane find themselves in are laugh out loud funny. I love that we get to revisit the characters from book 1, and that the series is tied together so well. If you are looking for a wonderful summer read, pick up Delicious by Adrianne Lee it will make you hungry for more. I loved this story so much I gave it 5 mouth-watering stars.

I love tasty books! This one is one I just devoured. I love the Big Sky Pie shop in town and I love the characters and events that lead to the end of a delicious book! Ok, ok, enough on the play on words… but trust me, this book is fabulous!
So Nick’s dad is going to get married again but more than that, he is moving home. He is coming back to Montana after spending so much time in Vegas. Nick is thrilled for his dad! He just wants his dad to be happy. But his opinion changes a bit once he learns who his dad is getting hitched to… A blast from the past, a former step-mom and the mother of Jane the Pain… Things couldn’t possibly get worse. Well, until the day he starts working on the new ad campaign for the Big Sky Pie shop.
Jane has finally found a home away from home in this pie shop. She is the head baker now that Molly has been forced to take time off and she is great at her job. Of course she knows this is only a stepping stone towards her future goals. She knows what she wants and she knows what she is doing and how to get there. What she doesn’t bargain for is her mother telling her that she is marrying that man again! Why would she do that? They were miserable together and their kids hated the entire marriage. So why would her mom do that again? This also means she is going to have to see Nick again and that is not part of the plan.
Oh but a few pictures some time in the freezer and a new perspective on life is all these two need to get a long. But can the overcome so much damage from the past? Parents hurt beyond belief when their marriage ended, kids who despise one another, different goals in life… it all just seems too much.
Oh the little twists and turns in a small town pie shop… this story is sweet, funny, sexy and a simple way of life. I adored the characters and their witty banter. I loved the little jealous battles and the heart melting moments. This book is a page right out of your favorite cookbook. I just love this group of characters. I love the placement of the story and I love the way they all come together as one big happy… even when they aren’t.
This book has character and the characters are fabulous. This is a five star read for sure and a tasty treat for the reading week!

This is book number two in the Big Pie Sky series and it was an awesome read. Although it’s a series, it can be a stand alone but after reading this you will want to read the others. Adrianne Lee somehow makes the characters come alive in Kalispell, Montana. The characters are compatible with each other and makes a smooth transition into each book and storyline. It kept me so spellbound that I didn’t want to stop reading it. It took longer to write this review then it took to read the book. I loved the way it kept me guessing and wondering how it was going to end. What a great ending to such a great story. By the way, I made the pie at the end of this book and by far the best recipe ever for Blueberry Pie.
I really can’t say enough for the Big Sky Pie series and each book does not disappoint. It makes me want to be one of the citizens of Kalispell, Montana. The friendship, the hope and the chance to start over. This is the reason that books are made, to take you to another place and time: lose yourself in the words.
Jane Wilson and Nick Taziano used to be step siblings and there was no love lost when their parents parted ways but when they find out that their parents are getting remarried well, that wasn’t good news at all. With both of them being older they have to face the reality of what really happened between their parents and try to keep them from getting married again.
Nick keeps showing up because he’s been hired to do the ad for the Big Sky Pie and is the best friend of the owner’s son Quint. Somehow the most appetizing thing for Nick is the head baker, Jane. After taking pictures at the shop the ad has revolved around Jane and her Delicious Pies.
When they come face to face they can’t stop the emotions that consume their every waking minute, the desire and electricity. One night of passion ended with the plus sign on a pregnancy test and Jane has to tell Nick.
This book has a surprising ending that doesn’t disappoint the readers.

So at first I really liked this book, the narration was engaging and the characters seemed grounded, but then the plot as a whole kind of fell flat to me. It was short so everything was rushed, and the characters actually never seemed to have a full conversation, instead they focused on their attraction to each other, which was not super hot because it was mostly closed door sex scenes. There also wasn’t any flirting or fun-having so it was just kind of a bummer.
Anyway, Jane and Nick are former step-siblings who are back in contact because their parents are remarrying. At first meeting, their attraction is apparently undeniable and they kiss, not recognizing each other since it’s been like fifteen years or something. So then they find out who they are, and concoct a plan to break up their parents. They soon realize this is a stupid plan, and then basically, after taking a few pictures of Jane and having sex with her, Nick falls in love with Jane.
And then, in the year 2014, educated people with means have sex without a condom, and Jane gets pregnant so they get married. But, wait, a doctor texts that Jane isn’t pregnant, because my doctor is always texting me important health information, and Nick leaves her at the altar because he thinks she wants to go to pastry school in Paris even though she only seems to know how to make pie crust, which is like literally four ingredients and takes me less time to make than writing this review. So then they get married, and oops, the doctor screwed up his phone numbers, Jane actually is pregnant! Happy endings! And don’t forget, there’s always the whole underlying thing that these people are step-siblings because the parents do end up marrying.

I love the chemistry between them. It is a fun read, and there is some fun figuring out what will happen and why their parents split up in the first place. Adrianne has made this the perfect read you can read in an afternoon, not too boring where you can sleep through it, the characters are fully carved out, not empty and dull.

They haven't seen each other since they were young and don't recognize each other, and they kiss before they know who each other is.

The story opens up with Jane delivering pies she made from her new job as pastry chef to the party of her mother’s to announce who she is going to marry. She is not happy that her mom is going to get married for what she thinks or feels like is the 7th time. When she arrives there with her arms full she runs into a good looking man who holds the elevator for and helps her with the pies when the doors open. When is in the kitchen and thanking the man she is trying to stare at how good looking he is when a familiar voice shouts hi Nickey, she knows that voice as Romeo, her former step father, so now the man standing next to her is Nick Taziano or the Tazmanian Devil. Her once step brother, her mother showed up and said her name but she bolted and left the event and did not speak to her mother for a day, she had to wrap her head around all that was happening. As for not wanting to see Nick, that would be more of a problem. He was a photographer and into advertising. He was hired by a new pie shop in town to do the lay and marketing plan. The pie shop was the one where Jane is the pastry chef her dream job, and everyone in town loves her pies especially the blueberry. The story goes along with them at first wanting to stop their parents from marrying again, but the more they dig into the past they are believing that since they were both so young that maybe they are the ones that broke up the marriage the first time. The more people Jane asks she is getting that feeling. Meanwhile they begin to spend some time together and realize that they have feelings for each other. The way this plays out is too good to spoil you must read the story. There are a few twists at the end and a surprised. For me this was a surprised story of lost love and new and can you go back. A very well written story and I liked all of the characters. A very good book. I got this book from net galley.

After reading Delectable, the first book in the Big Sky Pie series, I was looking forward to reading book two and it didn’t disappoint. The story continued flawlessly with the return of characters we met in book one along with new ones we meet along the way. This is Nick and Jane’s story and do they have a past. Their digs at each other, the hilarious nicknames of the Tazmanian Devil and Jane the Pain for each other along with their childhood memories gave comic relief. Watching them grow closer then take two steps back because of their history kept me interested from beginning to end. Throw in family, friends, the bakery, lots of loving and romance and what’s not to like? Seeing that they each had a vulnerable side and how they dealt with it was interesting. Seeing the true side of BiBi, Jane’s assistant pastry chef did not endear me to her and she would have been gone if she worked for me. The poor little me act and I want to make it on my own as she tried to undermine Jane was annoying to watch. The descriptions of the Big Sky Pie and the pies had my senses so engaged my mouth was watering. I could smell the sugar, cinnamon and blueberries as well as the pies baking and could visualize their deliciousness! There was nice closure and an unexpected happily ever after.
It was great to have the recipe for the Big Sky Blueberry Pie at the back of the book and I will definitely give it a try this summer. Finding chapter one of the next book in the series, Delightful, left me wanting more and I can’t wait to read it. I hope there are many more books in the series but look forward to reading whatever this author is willing to write especially in the romance genre.

In order to avoid Romeo, she kisses the sexy stranger as soon as she steps off the elevator to the party--only to find out that he's Romeo's son, Nick--her ex-and-soon-to-be stepbrother, who she hated when they lived together as children.
Nick Taziano is blown away by recent events--his father is remarrying his ex-wife--but the most surprising thing was the heat behind Jane the Pain's kiss. After Nick is hired to do some marketing for Big Sky Pie, he and Jane can't avoid each other. They plan to help their parents re-realize what had separated them all those years ago and to help them avoid making the same mistakes. But can they be around each other and not act on their attraction? Is it right to try and split up their parents, when their behavior as kids might possibly have contributed to their first divorce?
This is the second book in the Big Sky Pie series, after Quint and Callee's story in the first book. I liked this book even more than the first one--it was a sweet and steamy story. I would recommend it to people who like Beth Ciotta's Cupcake Lovers books, and people who like contemporary romances set in small towns. A quality read!
