I graduated from the College for Creative Studies in 2004 with a BFA in illustration, my love of cartooning and comics has led me to where i am today.
I've done licensed work for DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic, Fraggle Rock and more. I love being a nerd, so being able to draw nerdy things for a living is the best thing ever.
I'm married to the best guy ever. Ryan keeps me grounded.
I have a daughter, Grayson, who is my booger-y little destroyer of worlds.
I like my cats... a LOT. ...Our dog isn't too bad.
I live in a state shaped like a mitten.
The constant support of my family, pets, friends, and even complete strangers, is what drives me to succeed in art. Thank you everyone, because of you, I am what I am.
Solid conclusion to the story arc, and I liked the shirt comic at the end about Spike & Celestia defending Canterlot lol.
It's nice to see Queen Chrysalis again (especially since the show took like 4 seasons to bring her back lol) - and although you know from the start that she'd fail, there's still some semblance of stakes due to the writing & panelling.
Pretty good, overall. The next arc is called "Nightmare Rarity", and I'm quite curious as to what happens in it.

The storming of the castle was great fun, and I loved seeing the character of Chyrsalis expanded on in the finale. I also loved seeing what Spike was up to during this time (which gets expanded on even more in the short comic at the end).
Really, this whole arc was great, for all of the reasons I've mentioned in my reviews of the previous issues.
My one complaint about this issue was during the climatic moment. Not to get too spoilery, but one moment it was 'no, I won't do that!' and the next moment it was "okay, I will". There was no reason for the change that I could see...
Other than that, though, I loved it.
Though, I kind of wish I had been able to follow Spike around a little more.
This was a great end to a multi-comic epic. The writing by Katie Cook is fantastic and the ponies do not disappoint. There are fun fight scenes and the dialogue between evil queen chrysalis and the cutie mark crusaders is hilarious. A great companion series to the show.
