This story was written as a part of the M/M Romance Group's "Love Has No Boundaries" event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo and prompt that spoke to them and wrote a short story.

Jack Greene loathes author bios, thinking they ruin the mystery. But if you must, picture a handsome twenty-something insomniac: junior partner in a law firm by day, guitarist in a punk band by night. He roams the streets on his Ducati when he can't sleep, gathering material for his books, and watches the sun come up over West Hollywood as he types away at his laptop. Peace only comes when he writes the words "the end".

Jack writes about men who fuck, and love, other men. Men who, like all men, sometimes don't behave like they should.

Did you see the prompt pictures for this one? Oh my! I think my eyes want to divorce my body and jump on the second picture's bum.

The story is short, sexy fun with some evil twinks, BDSM delights, frenemies to lovers action and a HEA! Think assassins with bubble butts. (I pouted a smidge because Mr. Bubble Butt didn't get his poked - I would have loved that!)

This one wasn't much of a Romance romance but it felt true to the narrator's personality and whole vibe of the relationship was probably more realistic than most of the M/M romance I have read.

I still would preferred an actual declaration of their relationship though...

All in all this story was fun, kinda like summer blockbuster movie. It's also somewhat shallow with little to no introspect from either of the MC. They actually hardly ever really talk to each other...

This is a super, duper HOT BDSM ride with exceptionally mind-melting sex that had the potential to be a 5 star read for me. It was close to perfection, and I was all excited to put it on my favorites shelf, but then MC Nic had to go and fuck a twink while also fucking MC Paul. No, they were not in an exclusive relationship, so it wasn't technically cheating, but they were on their way to developing feelings for one another. Paul was actually already there. This incident wreaked the love story for me, unfortunately.

If you like hot BDSM sex between two secret service alpha males, you will love this short story. If you are looking for romance, I'd give this one a pass.

I'm not usually into reading BDSM but I really enjoyed this story. Jack did a great job with this prompt. The characters Paul and Nick were riot and great fun to read and their chemistry was sizzling. My only complaint is that I wished it was longer.

OK, hard, fast, sexy, and completely more-ish!! Please, please, please - expand! This is short, sharp, and (almost) satisfactory :)

As a short story, it is good, but it BEGS being more detailed - I NEED to know more about Paul and Nic: how they came to 'work' together and why; why they became 'partners'; how the 'twink' figured in the investigation; what the investigation entailed; more sex; more descriptive sex; more (possible) relationship sex........more, more, more!

A combination between action/adventure and comedy made this free short story very entertaining to read. With the narrator, Paul, not wanting to admit how much he is really attracted to Nic, and Nic basking in his macho-ness, the situations they get themselves into are so overdone they are comical.

If you want to know what two assassins might get up to, and how hard they really play when they're off-duty, you should read this story. It made me grin.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed the actual plot more than the parts about the relationship between the characters. It didn't help their case that I didn't really feel very positively towards them. But I still somehow managed to enjoy this one.

This one had me laughing yeah Paul loved his way of telling the story . Paul and Nic meet at dancing class. One day Paul is assigned with an partner with a mission. Things happen along the way there are twist and turn but all in all fun read would love to read more about them im sure they have more adventure in the story to explore.

LHNB Story.

Would it be considered enemies to lovers...nah, not quite. Either way we get lots of HOTTNESS with Alpha assassins, two pluses in my book! I had issues with the Twink..but I can see what it was written that way. Another good one from the LHNB event!

Good idea but was to short to fully develop the plot. Loved the brash attitude of the MC/Narrator of the story. Did not like Nic's secret involvement with the Twink and the fact that he had to make the phone call to initiate said involvement. No angst. Few doubts. Too short. Fun read.
