For Megan McDonald, being able to speak up for herself wasn't always easy. She grew up as the youngest of five sisters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her father, an ironworker, was known to his coworkers as "Little Johnny the Storyteller." Every evening at dinner the McDonalds would gather to talk and tell stories, but Megan McDonald was barely able to get a word in edgewise. "I'm told I began to stutter," she says, leading her mother to give her a notebook so she could start "writing things down."

It is very beautiful book I liked it because when I was small I hope that I hide witch Display my stuff and things etc.

Judy Moody's neighbor, and best friend from across the street, Rocky Zang, is practicing his magic tricks, but with Judy as his most un-spectacular assistant ever things aren't as amazing as they should be. Will Rocky be able to perform his greatest magic trick ever, or will Judy botch up the magic act?

This gets 5 stars because it made my daughter laugh hysterically. She thought the rabbit covered in ketchup was hilarious 😂. I like how the series with little books stays true to the original series feel. Colored illustrations are fun.

Someone had a dollar and someone else used magic to make it disappear. They actually made the dollar appear in the other person's pocket. It was very silly.

This is an Early Reader chapter book and would not make a very engaging read aloud. I read this after my 7-year-old because she laughed so much while reading this book. I had to see for myself what was so funny. She's an advanced reader for her age and grade, so she gobbled this up in less than half-an-hour (reading by hallway light after bedtime). This is a cute story - I have always loved the Judy Moody series and Megan McDonald's writing.

With a little help--make that some disruptions--from everyone's favorite third grader, Judy Moody, her friend Rocky Zang tries out several magic tricks. Readers will surely be amused by all the hijinks described in the book. Many will relate to Rocky's determination to pull off some nifty tricks too.

A cute story about best friends. One who is a magician but when his friend messes up all the tricks they fight.
