Der Manga dreht sich um Yamashita und Asaoka. Yamashita traut seinen Augen nicht als er eines Tages seinen Lieblings Pornodarsteller Hikaru auf der Straße trifft. Er bittet ihn darum ihn zu entjungfern, was dieser dann auch sofort in Angriff nimmt.

Leider stellt sich während dem Sex heraus, dass der Angebette gar nicht Hikaru ist, sondern ein Fremder mit Namen Asaoka. Yamashita möchte dieses Trauma eigentlich nur so schnell wie möglich vergessen, aber als sich heraus stellt das der Fremde sein neuer Arbeitskollege ist, ist das Chaos komplett.

Der Manga war sehr unterhaltsam, sehr einfühlsam und hatte einige richtig gute erotische Szenen. Die Zeichnungen sind sehr detailliert und einfach nur super schön. Die Dialoge waren sehr einfallsreich und nicht das alte Bekannte. Die Handlung und auch die Figuren waren sehr schön erarbeitet und dargestellt.

It would have been nice, if only there wasn't so much sexual assault and blackmail going on. It was too much to overlook, even in a fictional story. Rape gets way too romanticised.

Now, I’m not going to lie and say: “Hey, this yaoi is hilariously fabulous!” far from it. Although well written with deliciously attractive characters, Porno Superstar will make you cringe, cheer and cry, and almost all at the same time. Yamashita is a twenty-six-year-old gay virgin, and it’s his internal dialogue—how he views himself and his personal history—that sends the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride. I couldn’t help but feel for him as he slowly dragged me deeper and deeper into the depths of his despair. Lonely, introverted and desperate for affection, Yamashita isn’t your typical uke. He’s unique in the fact he’s quite intelligent, but he just happens to make a bad judgment call because he’s star struck (well he views it that way in the beginning).
The other main character Asaoka is the twenty-three-year-old son of the vice president of the company where Yamashita works. And I know if you read this yaoi you will want to pummel this guy for his, and there’s no other way to say it, shitty and deplorable attitude. But, don’t write him off immediately. Even though he’s the complete opposite of Yamashita, aggressive and a bully, and he can never seem to find the right words, he also becomes the answer to Yamashita’s prayers. Asaoka has his own private issues to deal with, and near the end, he shows a truly wonderful romantic side.
I won’t bother with a synopsis because this yaoi takes off from the very first page, but what I will recommend is take the time to read Yamashita’s thoughts. I don’t know any personal history about the mangaka artist, but this plot was one of the most tragically realistic I’ve read in a long time. Yamashita’s fears literally tugged on the old heartstrings. As for the art, it was quite beautiful. If you like this yaoi the spin-off Shiny Star is a must read.

I rather enjoyed this one, feel it was a Solid 4 stars. There is the usual tropes but for me they work. Our poor hero is a simple Plain Guy bullied at work and in life but he has a secret crush on a porno star whom he thinks he has met. He throws himself at the man he thinks is the pornstar and begs the man to take his virginity. They go back to a hotel and he finds out when it's too late that it's not the same guy. The story progresses and of course the pseudo porn guy turns out to be the newest employee where plain guy works. Sex, then a relationship (with a loooooot of bullying) ensures. Fun story, love our plain guy MC, some good art and angst. Translation is a B+, there were a couple words missing here and there but overall very solidly done!

Die Story war gar nicht so prollig wie ich es vom Titel her befürchtet hatte. Den in Wirklichkeit geht es gar nicht um einen echten Pornostar. Trotzdem steht der Erotikanteil absolut im Vordergrund und leider ist es gerade am Anfang sehr grenzwertig was das Thema Einvernehmlichkeit angeht. Aus meiner Sicht wurde die Grenze auch deutlich überschritten. Zum Glück änderte sich das dann, aber so richtig kuschelig wird es nicht. Trotzdem war es wirklich nett zu lesen und ich habe es nicht bereut es gelesen zu haben.
Der Zeichenstil war auch sehr ansprechend.

I loved this manga. ahahahah one of the best couples ever, one is a virgin that didnt even have his first kiss yet(Yamashita), and the other was straight. XD

Mistaken Identity. I really dig this kind of plot. It was beautifully written. The lines are way way too cute and I love Asazaki. He's way way too handsome and too seme for his own good esp. the part when he's throwing all of Yamashita's hikaru collectibles. Darn. And the fact that he's still innocent in terms of dating a guy. Bad-ass with a soft-side. YAOI is really L O V E. xoxo

Este manga es mi preferido de todos los tiempos. Primero tenemos a Yamashita, un oficinista melancólico, poco sociable y tímido que lo único que quiere es conocer a su estrella del porno favorito. Entre un amasijo de enredos conoce a Ryouchi, un hombre más joven, que debido a la confusión de Yamashita, se siente atacado y empieza a chantajearlo sexualmente. Pero del roce hace el cariño, y ellos no son diferentes. Poco a poco el amor crece y los finales felices siempre son bienvenidos en los BL. Ambos son encantadores, Yamashita es tierno y Ryouchi de lo más sexy. Creo que no hay nada mejor si quieres un insta-love para endulzarte la tarde. En mi caso necesito más azúcar romántico de lo normal y con este he podido saciar mi sed...aunque luego quiero más y más. En fin, ellos hablan por sí mismos, así que no hay nada más que añadir.

Der Anfang war zwar cringe, aber erstmal ganz witzig. Yamashita ist Fan von einem Gay-Pornstar und trifft jemanden auf der Straße, der genau so aussieht - und sie vögeln.
Leider ist es aber nicht der Pornstar :D sondern sein neuer Kollege auf der Arbeit. Hier hört es dann auch schon auf witzig zu sein, Mr. Nicht-Pornstar nötigt Yamashita nämlich dann zu allem möglichen Sex und würde sonst verraten, das er schwul ist.
Sooo... nope.

Die Voraussetzung war unglaublich aber die Geschichte war OK.

Yamashita ist ein netter Kerl aber Asaoka ist ein missbräuchlicher Partner. Yamashita ist verknallt in ein Pornosternchen und er glaubt, dass er ihn auf der Straße trifft. Plötzlich fragt Yamashita Asaoka, ob er seine Jungfräulichkeit nimmt. Und Asaoka sagt: «Ja!»

Trata de un chico que tiene un ídolo, Hikaru, un actor porno. Un día cree verle por la calle y le hace una proposición, el otro chico acepta como si estuviera haciéndole un favor. En el hotel le humilla por ser un chico soso y sin experiencia (además de tímido) para en medio del sexo descubrirle que no es el actor (además dolía). The one chapter where he finally shows his good side wasn't enough to make up for his attitude in the 1-3rd chapter.
