Fed up with the animals forcing good people to fear for their lives, Bobby, unemployed veteran, and his team decide to do for their community what the corrupt politicians and cops won’t. With a background of the Occupy Movement and the Arab Spring this story brings to the reader the gritty part of the stories they are hearing every week on their TV sets about big city crime. In particular the non-stop killings of school children on Chicago streets which is happening as you read these words.
There are women in this tale but they are here because they belong - not to make some Latte drinking editor think it is politically right. My intent is a series with this theme and we will be reaching upwards to cover the scum that masquerade as public servants at all levels.
So you know, this book may be considered a novella. A novella is usually shorter than a novel. The chapters are short and to the point which is how I personally like a book most of the time. Maybe you do too. For parents and prims: there are swearwords used and violence - sorry - that is a fact of life on mean streets. You are warned. The settings used are actual locales in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
UU.
Blah Blah Blah. Ultimately what matters is you, the reader. What some puffed up writer says about themselves doesn't make their book more interesting, does it?
I grew up on these mean streets. For survival I learned how to box. My gut is hard and my body is lean like most poor kids except I am not a kid anymore. Still poor though.
Chicago style was my first book on Amazon who, unlike all the other people I sent manuscripts to, has given me a chance. I'm probably not the best writer. Wait that's bull!
I write the best I can. And I am an avid reader like you so I know that a lot of the crap I see in the library and on TV stories is much worse than my writing so hah!
Anyways for those of you who bought my book - thanks you goofball!
