Willow's had a rough couple of months and being yanked 90 years into the future isn't helping. Especially since she just happened to be at the wrong time, wrong place -- as in attached to Christian Wood's arm, a boy who has determinedly avoided her for some unknown reason. A boy with the equivalent of a SWAT team on standby in the future in case he ever needs saving.

But the future holds many secrets and, before long, she discovers just how closely her life will one day be entwined with Christian's, and exactly what's at stake.

Getting a guy almost killed twice kind of makes one pay attention and the more she looks, the more willing she is to be swept up into his destiny.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!

So, I'm not sure what I'd classify this genre as but it was pretty cool.
The main character Willow is not the typical heroine I go for, she's not particularly bad ass or commands respect but I felt like her reactions and attitude towards the situation were realistic. I couldn't even really explain why I like her so much but even though she's not kick ass she totally proved herself to me in the end.
I did feel kind of stink about why she ends up with the person she ends up with, if that makes sense.
I liked how the hero Chris was nerdy and into science fairs and stuff. It was a good change of pace from the usual hot, dark and dangerous bad boys that seem to be in every novel these days.
I didn't like how Chris told Willow to shut up all the time. I mean really, if someone told me to shut up that much I would punch them in the face. God!
I really love the robot Gale. She was pretty funny and I have a feeling why she hates Willow

I felt bad for Clarrie but then again, not really. Clearly Chris is supposed to end up with someone else. Besides, love at first sight? Pfft.

Got this book for free so my expectations were low since this wasn't part of a series. After reading this book, all I have to say is THERE BETTER BE A SEQUEL! There were definitely not enough things closed for my liking. She definitely left it open for a second, if not a third, book. Please please please right the next book! I'm dying over here!

Now... onto the actual book review. As I said before. Free book = low expectations. The beginning was a little choppy for me. The main character uses the word "tummy" way too often. What is she? 12? Seriously, stomach works just fine. But I really loved Chris and I really loved their relationship and the overall plot to this book. I'm pretty sure I've guessed many of the mysteries in the book (I won't know for sure unless she writes the next book!) but I also do that with most books and movies, so I can't hold that against her. It was definitely a lot more ambiguous than some other books I've read. Overall, I'm hooked on the story line and the characters so I really hope she doesn't disappoint me!

2.5 stars. This was a nice funny read.

Willow is spunky and funny and I liked her a lot. While you're reading you keep wondering what's going on? Why is Chris so important? After I finished I still had a lot of questions.
I didn't understand her decisions at the end of the book so I'm curious about the second book.

I seem to be picking lots of Young Adult books lately. This one started out slowly, but by the end, the characters had gripped me.

The book jumped straight into the action without much introduction to the characters so I had trouble caring about the plot. I gave up on the book at the 21% mark.
