He’d heard the rumors. Douglas was back in town. Why was he back? Does he remember Adrian? Does Adrian have a shot with him after all these years?
This story was written as a part of the M/M Romance Group's "Love Has No Boundaries" event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo and prompt that spoke to them and wrote a short story.
Dear Author,
Tonight’s the night. I’m heading for my favorite club to play tonight. I’m looking for a Dom to give me all I need and I NEED. Oh, GOD, HE is here tonight. THE Dom. I’ve never been with him but I’ve heard and seen, oh have I seen, what he can give. Will I catch his eye tonight? I’m going to do all I can to get him to pick me. Will he keep me if he does? Author help me get the Dom of my dreams if only for one night!

Sweet, hot and too darn short. Nice set up and opening volley, but needs more. On the tenderly sweet side with mild SM, good for cutting teeth of emerging kinksters.

If you knew nothing about BDSM or the lifestyle then this little glimpse would work for you. However, knowing what I do know, there are too many inconsistencies that would (or should) never occur in a club and/or a scene.

There’s nothing particularly wrong with this short, but there was nothing that popped out at my either. It’s too short to really give you much of anything to grasp onto. I liked it, but I wish I knew more about the characters.
Adrian is a switch though he’s spent most of his time doming for the guys in the club. After being turned down so harshly by the one man he wanted years before it wasn’t any hardship. But now he’s back and every guy in the club holds no interest for Adrian anymore. All he wants is for Douglas to take him over and to be able to give himself over to the man’s mastery.
Douglas left five years earlier for a very good reason. He knew the kind of temptation that Adrian was then and the fifteen-year age gap was just too much for someone so young and new to the scene. Now he’s back and he’s got a different set of plans.
Because this story is so short we really don’t know that much about these two characters in anything except how they feel about each other. Really this story is about their first BDSM encounter and leaves things open for the idea of more to come between them. I did like Adrian whole great big bunches though. His inner cravings and monologue was so cute.
And that scene was INTENSE. Really well written BDSM scene actually. I would be curious to see more of where this relationship between these two would go. I’m sure there would be some hot sex going on in this household. The final ending here was ultimately so sweet though. I loved Douglas’s questions for Adrian. Such the perfect thing to quite Adrian’s fears.

Nice, short BDSM story, focusing on one scene in a club when sub Adrian and his older, dream-Dom Douglas are reunited 5 years after first meeting. It may work as total fantasy, but a couple of things disturbed me: there was no discussion of limits, no mention of a safeword, and for a first-time encounter to be including a whip sounds risky to me (for both partners).
If you're looking for a short, hot BDSM encounter and can overlook the lack of "safe" in "safe, sane, consensual", then you might like this short free story.

Short and fast paced this story is a about a sub who has been pining for a particular dom. Little does he know that the dom (who has been away and is now back) has also secretly been pining to play with him. The two meet at the BDSM club they first saw each other and things take their natural course. No surprises, complicated plot lines or anything else of that nature. Straightforward story with straightforward characters.
