My home is in the land of the Kangeroos but I travel quite often around the globe to distribute goods. I'm not much up on stories that involve drugs but the cover of this book kind of drew my attention on twitter and so I clicked the link and realized that this was the same novel that I had read on a plane several weeks back when I was flying across the globe. So, here I am and I have to give this author credit where credit is due. I never knew that love could exist in a place that people call a drug world but this writer happened to emotionally touch me in many places that I had once thought had become numb. This Cecil author, has managed to describe the true meaning of what love really is and the lengths that a person is willing to go through, to prove that they sincerely love someone. I truly don't like spending my time on the plane giving a person credit, but I feel that this author deserved that much; being that he managed to make me laugh, cry, and very very mad at the fellow villain Americans. I like this new site Goodreads and I would love to enter the drawing. By the way where is the second book to this story? Can't wait to read more by this guy!

I loved this book. I love the fact that Timmy and Destiny are your average everyday joes. Timmy, very smart man and Destiny, very smart woman. Looking at them from the outside you wouldn't be able to tell that they both had more going for themselves even if at times they didn't see it. I was bothered about Timmy taking the fall and going to prison, again but I understand why he did it. Even with that, I became upset with Destiny for not seeing past the obvious at first and just believing what she saw. Again, I understand why it was written like that. I just loved the story line and I'm glad the dirty cops got their just desserts. I look forward to reading his next book.

This book has the same grit as the movie series, Breaking bad, but you can tell that the author put a lot of thought into the loyalty of what love is truly supposed to mean when put through the test. the author has one hell of an imagination and the story is something that everyone can relate to. I read two, sometimes three books a week while I'm on the road, so I've read a lot of books and would rate this one at four and a half stars.
