I missed Poe's original prose, although it was interesting to read this interpretation in plain English, too. The art was not great, although it kinda helped that the guy looked like George from the Amityville Horror movie.
Graphic novels are always a great way to help students get excited about any topic, adding to their comprehension of the material - particularly for visual learners. My daughter and I read this before reading the famous poem, then found a short film on youtube and of course the video of Vincent Prince's narration. Where were all these resources when I was in school?
