U.S. Men's Team: New Stars on the field by Illugi Jökulsson is a great non-fiction book. This book contains everything you need to know about U.S. men's soccer. From their first world cup to nowadays. If your looking for a book to read about the U.S men's soccer then this is the book to read. This book talks about top goal scorers, goalkeepers, and all of their results at the world cups they've been to. I really enjoyed reading this book about the team.

This book is non-fiction and full of information. I recommend that you have some background knowledge about soccer before reading this. Anyone older then 10 should be able to read this book with no problem. If you enjoy soccer and learning about it further in depth then take some time and try out this book.

It was fun to go back and read some of this stuff, most of which I already knew, and it was particularly a little bit funny reading it after the 2014 world cup, since Donovan didn't end up going.

But, it's probably worth a quick read for those who just want to know a little more about how much history the US team actually has.
