I graduated from the College for Creative Studies in 2004 with a BFA in illustration, my love of cartooning and comics has led me to where i am today.
I've done licensed work for DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic, Fraggle Rock and more. I love being a nerd, so being able to draw nerdy things for a living is the best thing ever.
I'm married to the best guy ever. Ryan keeps me grounded.
I have a daughter, Grayson, who is my booger-y little destroyer of worlds.
I like my cats... a LOT. ...Our dog isn't too bad.
I live in a state shaped like a mitten.
The constant support of my family, pets, friends, and even complete strangers, is what drives me to succeed in art. Thank you everyone, because of you, I am what I am.
Oh my gosh, I absolutely LOVED issues #11 and #12! As a Dungeons & Dragons player, I got a total kick out of "Oubliettes & Ogres", plus the O&O character named "Lejandar Gygax" (FYI: Gary Gygax was the creator of Dungeons & Dragons). Also, who else got the issue #12 line "We have a few hours left, why don't we play a quick game of Hocus Pocus: The Get-Together?"
All in all, these two comics made me love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" even more. And I now appreciate Cadance and Shining Armor far more as characters and as a couple!
"Let's say we are living in a state of perpetual happiness!"
That was a great conclusion to this lol. So far, this has been the best story arc (and I'm not biased because I like the characters it features).
It fills out a decent chunk of their backstory whilst being comedic and heartfelt at the same time. Kind of reminds me of a classic simpsons episode in that regard. I didn't expect the jock guy to appear again at the end, but it was neat to see (and he even ended up with one of Cadence's friends lol. I wonder what happened to the other one?).
And holy shit, referencing Star Trek and Quantum Leap back-to-back was something I never thought I'd see this comic do but by god am I here for it - and then they rickrolled us at the end, lmfao! It's great lol.

The previous one was already very bad with retcon-projecting future character traits into the past. For every character. But this one gets even worse — it goes clairvoyance levels of predestination. It's physically painful to read.
It basically turns already pretty thin characters from the show (and 11 previous issues) into one dimensional trait elementals, who can represent only one exact trait and nothing more.
The only good thing here is drag.

Cadance foal sits for Twilight and she gets some "insider" info on Shining Armor (that whole section is priceless). Meanwhile, Shining Armor and Cadance go the the high school dance, but with different people. Cadance's date is a total jerk.
