Karen's life was changing and she seemed helpless to stop it. Her husband of almost 30 years, her soul-mate, was responding to the manipulations of a younger woman. She was afraid that if she made him make a choice, she might not win. But that was not the case. Their love prevailed and the very event that should have surely shaken their marriage ended up giving them an incredible gift.
The answers they sought to heal themselves came from an unlikely place - a past life that they were together in.
Karen shares her journey to a life in the 1500s in France that seems to hold the answers to so many questions. Questions they didn't even know to ask.
The story of the past life itself is riveting, but it's only part of the message. After reading, you will surely begin to look at your own life in a different way. Remember, we are all connected.
Coincidence! Yes giving a new meaning to this term in a whole new way. All our acts, our happiness and sadness are all outcome of our past life. Who knew that all our loved ones were already a part of our life in our past life too? Soul Journaling-Lessons from the Past by Karen Valiquette is an incredible story which will make your eyes wide open about so many facts about our past life.
Thanks to the author, Karen Valiquette as well as her publisher for sending me over a copy of her book, in return for an honest review.
This tale is about the author's past life in the 1500s when she was born as Dominique, daughter of a carpenter. After her father's death, she was shunned by her mother, so she was sent to a missionary orphanage, where she conceived a child of Abott, the father. Soon she left the missionary, and found herself falling in love with the royal court soldier, Henri. Soon they welcome their son to the world, but Dominique's daughter's hatred against her, separated her from her son. Again she conceives but this time she was accused of a false conspiracy and was eventually killed.
A well written story, which is very emotional and immediately from the beginning we can feel the pain of Dominique. The author has tried to give us a lot of lessons from her past life. She even tried to prove us that our soul mates were already a part of our life in our past life too. The people that we are destined to meet, were already had a part in our past life too. This book about the author and her husband and about the past life regression will grip you from the very beginning of the book. Also it gets more interesting when Dominique was falsely accused of holding illegal pagan rituals inside the church; sometimes it will bring tears into your eyes. And we realize that we are all connected in some way or other way.
A very enriching and a very compelling story, which will definitely keep you on your edges and let you, understand all about the concept of past life.
My wife wrote this book from visions I had over several years that provided insight into a past life in the 1500s. As intimate as i am to the story, I never tire of reading this book because of the way my wife Karen wrote it.
Her writings gave it another dimension. This is a book that everyone can read as it works on so many different levels. For some it will inspire, for others, it's just a captivating story. But for all, you can't put it down.
I realize that this may be perceived as a biased review -- and it is, but explore it for yourself. It will not disappoint.
I re-read very few books, but this is one of the exceptions. The story challenged some of my beliefs and opened me up to new ways of thinking. This is a dynamic story of Love and Connection. It was a very visual read for me. I could see it playing as a movie. Maybe someday it will be just that! I could feel the emotion of the characters as the storyline progressed. I truly didn't want it to end. It is a reminder that even though we may feel ourselves to be strangers in this world, we are in many ways connected. I really enjoyed this book.
