How did these two end up in that bank, with those guns? Because they seemed like such nice kids, right? Well, THE SEX POLICE have the same questions and descend on Susie and Jon. And we get the rest of Jon's gory story if you read ONE weird sex and time comedy comic this year, make sure it's "My Sexual Errors 1998 Present!"
"How he got started in comics: In 1983, when Fraction was 7 years old and growing up in Kansas City, Mo., he became fascinated by the U.S. invasion of Grenada and created his own newspaper to explain the event. "I've always been story-driven, telling stories with pictures and words," he said.
Education and first job: Fraction never graduated from college. He stopped half a semester short of an art degree at Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri in 1998 to take a job as a Web designer and managing editor of a magazine about Internet culture.
"My mother was not happy about that," he said.
But that gig led Fraction and his co-workers to split off and launch MK12, a boutique graphic design and production firm in Kansas City that created the opening credits for the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace."
Big break: While writing and directing live-action shoots at MK12, Fraction spent his spare time writing comics and pitching his books each year to publishers at Comic-Con. Two books sold: "The Last of the Independents," published in 2003 by AiT/Planet Lar, and "Casanova," published in 2006 by Image Comics.
Fraction traveled extensively on commercial shoots. Then his wife got pregnant. So Fraction did what any rational man in his position would do -- he quit his job at MK12 to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time comic book writer.
Say what? "It was terrifying," said Fraction, who now lives in Portland, Ore. "I was married. We had a house. We had a baby coming. And I just quit my job."
Marvel hired Fraction in June 2006, thanks largely to the success of his other two comics. "I got very lucky," he half-joked. "If it hadn't worked out, I would have had to move back in with my parents.
Possibly my favourite origin series of the year, Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky release yet another first-rate comic with #3. Suze and Jon recount the rest of their first date, their even more amazing second date, and how they decided to rob banks after having sex. Featuring a musical number from Queen (kind of!) as the centrepiece, this comic is pure awesomeness through and through, I can’t recommend it enough – it might be the best thing Fraction’s written! I liked the first two issues. Not that this one was bad, but it felt too incomplete to even be its own issue. It ended up pretty much the same note as the second issue where you meet the "police". The next issue should be interesting since you get to meet the people who are the enforcers. I guess we'll wait and see as we're promised "orcs" as well.
No really that is all you need. This book is probably the best written and entertaining of the week. It's brilliant and the more everyone keeps getting in a tizzy over the name means the more people will keep reading it.
Now we've got some action, figuratively speaking. Or not so figurative. Anyway, we've got a not-quite-a-mess on our hands here, sticking our hands in the cookie jar, jumping around in narration almost as much as the time dilation. It's good, too. Always keeps us on our toes.
This is gonna make my favorites list. The ending dance number alone. *Slow clap* Bravo. This is one comic that truly utilizes the medium to its full potential. It's a series that uses its medium as an advantage rather than as something to be ashamed of. It's funny, romantic, sarcastic when it wants to be, sincere when it needs to be. Also, it's unapologetic. Brave, even. To casually show a nerdy white guy admitting he occasionally had sexual intimacies with men is really refreshing.
But it's that ending. That dance number. *Chef Kiss* Just the best.
5 Hilarious-Stars! ☆☆☆☆☆ The suspense is building. Are Jon and Suzie going to get caught? Who the hell are the people in white who have magical white dildos...lol!
But even though this issue took a more serious tone it still had tons of comedy. Jon taking a sh!t in his boss's potted plant was so freakin funny!!! :)
"With the invention of masturbation, humans realized they had so much to live for and so they set out to create environments which would extend their lives, giving them more time to masturbate. The first man-made domicile was called a "jack shack," where people go to jack it free from the distracting elements and their moms."
The scene of singing Queen in the bar was epic such clever writing! Starting to really get into this series now - who the hell are these people completely dressed in white so confused!
This series is starting to lose me. I found the first issue so promising and I am noticing a slow decline. I was hoping this comic would prove to be more than just sex jokes, but I am unconvinced. Nothing really happened in this issue, just rehashing old jokes from previous issues- vagina sleeping bag, the first time it was amusing, the second time it just isn't.
The 'musical number' bit was funny for the first few panels but four pages was just overkill.
I guess this comic is attempting to further the backstory, but the reader learns nothing new.
Also, personal pet peeve- the old robbing the evil bank isn't really a crime cliché that I have been seeing over and over again, so tired, so annoying.
Amazing things are happening in this story and Graphic Novel and I loved every bit of it. We learned a bit of more history from Jon's side and cutesy text messages between them and then the reason whey there were guns and the weird white clothed guys.
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

These books are consistently funny, and I find myself rooting for Susie and Jon. Like, I want them to get away with more and more crimes. They're a pair I love reading about. I can only hope things don't turn horribly wrong.
