This short story by David Annandale is a great introduction to the overwhelming power and presence that Chaos Space Marines bring to the battlefield. In this, Typhus comes off as an imposing, strong villain, and it's great context for him as a character, as he appears in many other books.

I retract my earlier statement that Astorath has the best advent short, because Typhus was amazing!
I would REALLY like to see a novel series on THIS guy!
And David Annandale got him just right! It wasn't Counters' weird/disgusting/random Chaos that I love, but Annandale does a damn good job!
