MUCH cuteness in this volume! I appreciate how our leads are having dates and a few more romantic moments that aren't just them being together with no conversation. Granted, they STILL have that, but it feels like they are really growing and starting to be more open together.
However, that ending unexpectedly made me feel some angst and worry that Suiren is not going to share how she is feeling later on. Maybe she will though since she DID say how she missed Kawasumi (and told him directly!) and it led to a very beautiful and satisfying moment concerning their relationship! But with how focused Kawasumi is on karate and not realizing Suiren and her feelings, it does make me wonder what's in store.
I definitely don't feel these two will break up or anything like that! For all of Kawasumi's obliviousness, I know he deeply cares for Suiren and wants to make her happy. I think the event at the end is somehow tied in with maybe him defending her and his relationship with her(?), but Suiren obviously doesn't know or realize this.
So overall, I definitely enjoyed it and am excited to keep reading even if I feel a little nervous!
I started to get really annoyed and upset of the way Suiren behaves. She really pisses me off!
She doesn't even have the courage to give some chocolates to her boyfriend? She can't even say a word for her boyfriend who was apologising through the phone o=
Always leaving it to Aya-chan to talk for her, I mean, how can she even understand what she wants to say?!
I'm so sorry but, the female main character in this manga, Suiren, is nothing like I wanted and expected, I don't like her at all, honestly. And acting all cute, all the guys like her and say that she's everyone's.. I did not like that at all.
But Kawasumi is so cool, at least he's trying his best to make his relationship with her better, he's trying to understand her more. But he can't, obviously.
And I also appreciated the art of the mangaka, I really liked her style. She's a real artist, I'd like to explore more of her work.
I hope that the events start progressing very soon, because I almost finish it and nothing is actually happening.
Rounding up. I echo the other reviews here across the board. There is cuteness and there are frustrations with the characters. Atohira's presence confuses me. Is he meant to be the "rival"? Is he going to vie for Suiren or is this a twist and the "rival" is actually karate via the competitive streak between Atohira and Kawasumi? ┐(´д`)┌ IDK. I don't really like him. There some really adorable moments here and others where it feels like we get so much more from Kawasumi than we do from Suiren. And then the ending is sad to me. I'd like to see more character development for Suiren.
Not entirely sure what to think of this older friend of theirs getting back into karate, let alone Kawasumi's injury. Suiren seems to be really hard on herself and a bit desperate to learn how to do better all the time, as if she's not enough as she is even though clearly how she is happens to also be how Kawasumi and the rest of the school all fell for her (though could claim the rest of the school doesn't really know her). Hopefully these two will find a balance that works for them to reach their goals and not feel like they're dragging the other down, especially when it's clear they both want it to work and really do like each other.

Suiren and Kawasumi are officially dating so now they go on an official date and Christmas is coming up, plus New Years, and exams which means group study sessions...
But there's something... weird going on between Kawasumi and Atohira. Atohira is a friend of Kawasumi's older brother Ichi, but both of them used to be in the karate club, but Atohira and Ichi quit because Ichi was focused on baseball but Atohira quit because... reasons?
There are secrets in Kawasumi's past and I wanna know what's going on, but the story keeps dancing around it without giving me any answers or even hints and it's frustrating.
The first date was hilarious and so them, the way that they just walked together and the piggy back ride was so cute. The Christmas date was lovely and so well done, Kawasumi's present to Suiren was brilliant and proves he was listening to her. The midnight shrine vist was lovely and really showcased how much they loved each other. They have so much to learn about being in a relationship, however they make such a lovely couple and really are so cute together. The art is so lovely and complements the story so well, the story is so cute and whilesome it makes you wonder what will happen next. This was so worth the read and such an enjoyable manga volume.

their fiest date😭 ato is so pretty i love him and i hope that he will be helping understand kawasumi what being a couple is because he's so dummy🤣🫶🏻 their christmas together could be longer tbh but i can't complain and WHEN THEY WENT TOGETHER TO THE SHRINE TOGETHER?! and suiren snuck out from home just go go to the shrine with kawasumi🤭 i hope she will take a good care of kawasumi and his broken arm😼✨

Half the series and nothing really happened... This is one of the SLOWEST manga I read.
Also it get in my nerves how the female lead needs to put on baggy clothes and a cap and never go out alone since it seems if she wears normal clothes she's constantly arrased by men in the streets? Is really Japan like that I swear... the way all the characters have this normalised...
I'm dropping the series here. The art style is very pretty but it's very slow. I don't feel much chemistry between the main couple. It took them 5 volumes to get together and say a couple of sentences to one another. I don't mind slow burn or quiet characters. But this is just too boring for me. I hope others enjoy it. It's very cute just very slow.
