I've been a writer all of my life -- it is who I am. I write for myself and always have. The ability to create pictures and emotions with words is such a miracle to me. I read everything; I mean everything! All kinds of books, even encyclopedias. I am fascinated by the written word and I love storytellers. It is a great privilege to be counted one myself. I have enjoyed Feehan's writing in the past but these two stories were terrible. They dialogue was immature, the plots though really good, dragged with the narrative and the over-the-top perfection of the sisters. Even when they had weaknesses, they were such obvious plot devices that it just made the reading tedious and nauseating. I'm really sad and disappointed. I was so looking forward to reading Kate and Sarah's romances. This was awfully Mar-Sue like.

Considering these are the first two books in the series, I thought they'd introduce things more, but it was a bit vague.

Honestly, this first part of the book did not grasp my attention that much and the way Kate + Matt fell in love was a bit too fast for me. I know they grew up together and all but yeah.

Idk but it was a fun book especially the way Jonas and Hannah banter. Also, this book got me out of MY ONE YEAR READING SLUMP so I would give it a 3.8 stars.

ANYWAY, I REALLY LIKE SARAH AND DAMON MORE!!!! Oh I also adore Jonathan and Elle. I mean that one part(you will know what I'm talking about) IT WAS SO CUTE!!!! like the connection and all

So the conclusion is that I would really give Safe Harbour and Hidden Currents a shot.

What I couldn’t figure out is why this started out with book #2 and not #1 (a little backwards to me but ok, they don’t necessarily have to be read in order)? Ok, that out of the way, I wasn’t as impressed with these two as I was some of the others. I was really debating between a 3 or a 4 Star. The first story (Twilight before Christmas) was much more “steamy” but otherwise wasn’t as attention grabbing to me. Magic in the Wind was more subtle (not all about sex), and being the first in the series was an intro it the Drake sisters, you heard their names but didn’t get to meet them all. You can definitely tell they are intro/beginning books (smaller than the others as well) but don’t let that deter you, the whole series is worth the read, the books just get better!

I did read this for the Drake sister story.
Sarah's home was whispered in the wind, Damon felt compelled to go to cliff top house where he meets they mysterious Sarah Drake.
Damon is a damaged physically and emotionally from an attack where his close friend and colleague died because he wouldn't give up national security secrets.
When he cuts ties with work and retires to the sleepy town of sea haven. he finds he's not as hidden as he thinks.
Sarah's returned home but not just for good but to protect Damon from bad guys.
What she didn't expect was for Damon to walk through a magically locked gate starting the Drake sister prophecy off.
Great story but amazing start to Drake Sister series.
HEA
Kate Drake story.
Katie is a world renowned writer that feels the pull of home and decides to open a shop in Sea Haven. While riding she bumps into her childhood crush Matthew.
Matt realises noes the time to make a movie and show his true feelings for Kate.
But while checking out her new building an earthquake happens and opens a seal that has kept a angry spirt trapped waiting for the right Drake to bring him peace.
Kate thinks she the invisible boring sister that doesn't have much to give a strong sexy contractor but Matthew so her is so many ways that she's always been perfect for him and he's just been waiting for her to come back home.
Great HEA.

Rereading a favourite series

I've lost count how many times I've reread this series over the years. Completely charming, strong kickass female characters, a great romance and sexual chemistry. A complete joy, can't wait to reread the rest of the books.

Es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich Dämmerung des Herzens las. Es gefiel mir gut und ich wollte mehr über die anderen lesen, habe es dann aber nicht getan. Irgendwie ist mein Interesse doch erloschen.
