Broken Billionaire's Second Chance book six in the Dirty Billionaire Club series. A steamy full-length standalone story with no cheating or cliffhanger and guaranteed happily-ever-after. It's brilliantly written with two broken and damaged souls and a plot driven storyline that grabs your attention from start and keeps you hooked and invested and turning the pages until the satisfying HEA. A billionaire romance, insta-lust, contemporary romance, filled with secrets, lies, deception, lust, heartache, insecurities, pain, hurt, fear, friendship, banter, humor, passion, wealth, and power, anger, emotions, tension, angst, jealousy, steam, and love.
Moira is a ruthless, calculated, savage female in a male dominant industry. She's a beautiful, jaded, bitter, billionaire, and broken individual who have been through a lot of heartbreaks since childhood to adulthood. Moira was on a plane in business class heading to London to one of her best friend Olivia's wedding. Because of her beauty she's constantly getting hit on and doesn't like it. Michael is a handsome, tainted, intelligent, driven, ruthless, shattered billionaire who has had a rough childhood. He crosses path with an equally broken woman, when he sits beside her on his way to a business deal in London. Michael thought Moira was beautiful and wanted to speak to her but he could tell that she wanted to be left alone. Moira was surprised that the handsome man didn't try to hit on her because it usually takes a few minutes for a male to do so. She's fascinating by the handsome man and kept glancing at him from the side of her eyes. But kept his eyes closed concentrating on something. Moira help Michael dissuade a flight attendant after she hit on him and wanted his number. Moira is scared of flying and doesn't fly but Olivia blackmailed her when she called and invite her. When the plane hit a bad round of turbulence she got scared and grabs Michael hand who held her hand and offered soothing thoughts.
Moira couldn't stop thinking about Michael at the wedding and hoped that they run into each other again. His absence after their first encounter left her aching. When fate intervened and they were forced to sit beside each other again on the return flight because a passenger wanted to sit beside her husband they were both ecstatic. They conversate and path ways at luggage claim where they exchange names but no number. One day Michael was at work and gets a call from Moira he was surprised and wondered how she found him. They agreed to see each other again and made a date. The two soon realize that they were meant to be together and evenly matched, because they're both broken, workaholics who have had their hearts broken. Moira is anti marriage, anti-children, and commitment phobia. She and her three best friends made a pact that they would never get married and give a man permission to own them.
Michael is looking for a commitment, marriage and children and sworn off love. He's given up on ever finding happiness after his ex-wife cheated on him broke his heart and took the thing that mattered the most to him. I’ve been an ongoing reader of the Dirty Billionaire series ever since I stumbled on it a while ago and was excited to continue the series but wasn’t completely sure what to expect since the past few books have been disappointing. This one was no exception. It started off strong and felt like it was going somewhere, but then Moira’s attitude and outlook on love ruined it for me. She was too negative, hard, and in a way, kind of full of herself. She felt like she was owed something and didn’t want to give anyone the time of day, plus I felt like I knew nothing about her. The author didn’t touch on why she’s been so successful and what made her a billionaire. I felt like we knew more about Michael than her. I liked his personality and attitude a lot better. He wasn’t against love, marriage or having kids. He was looking forward to it and willing to give it a try again, even though his ex did a number on him. Aside from that, I found myself going back and forth between giving this a 3 and a 4, ultimately settling on a 3 because of Moira. I couldn’t connect with her, nor did I really like her. Had she been a more open minded person and at least include one rendezvous in Club Red, I may have had a different take on this book. I felt like it was lacking a lot of feels and emotion as well as intensity and definitely could have used more sensual moments. It was an otherwise, pretty tame book compared to past Dirty Billionaire books and stories in general. I’ll admit too, that the ending was anti climatic. There was no big declaration, no build up to Michael’s proposal, he just out of the blue asked her at a time that wasn’t very romantic and it felt sudden, like the author just wanted to end the book right there. It just felt like an okay finish and it wasn’t satisfactory. There was no anticipation and feel good finish. As the series goes on, I feel like the hero is getting less and less ruthless and more sweet, caring and not afraid to be vulnerable and show emotion. There’s nothing wrong with this, and I’m glad for it, but the series isn’t called Dirty Billionaires for nothing. It makes me unsure about how the next book is going to be.

Moira had sworn off relations due to many factors in her life, but her fate-filled encounters with Michael, as well as the pull she felt toward him, made her start to question her decision. Michael was weary of relationships after the hell he went through with his ex-wife, but he felt an inexplicable connection with Moria from the moment her laid eyes on her. Spending time together allowed them to open up to each other about their pasts, which seemed to bring them closer to each other.
Unfortunately, just as they trying to navigate their complicated relationship, Michael’s ex-wife decided to try and break them up. Even though Michael and Moria tried everything to get rid of his ex-wife, she just wouldn’t go away, but the final crap she pulled pushed him to take a stance that made her go away permanently. As luck would have it Moria had the wherewithal to realise that it was Michael’s ex-wife’s desperate way to get her away from Michael.
Moira and Michael finally had the courage to acknowledge their feelings for each other and gave themselves the chance to get the happiness together that they really deserved. This was a beautifully written story about true friendships, healing the pain from their past, building trust and learning how to love again. I found myself glued to the pages eagerly waiting to see if they finally found happiness together and if the y were able to sustain their friendships. Grab a copy of this book now and you won’t be disappointed.

This is a journey of finding unexpected love when Moira and Michael randomly meet while on a flight to London never exchanging names then again to see each on their return flight home. Michael is a successful man who luckily earned his wealth on an app and gives his dad a carefree lifestyle who previously had a bad marriage. Moira doesn’t believe in love, marriage or having kids due to all the heartache men cause so she’s excited when Michael grabs her attention, curious to see where their friendship can go. Moira worked hard for her success and wealth and finds it important to never be dependent on a ma. As these two spend time together they discover how much they enjoy each other and when Michael’s ex shows up to start trouble Moira doesn’t let it interfere in their relationship. Moira’s mother needs help with her health and unexplained life changes and it’s great to see how she sets aside their difficulties and learns how to become closer and Michael is there as a loving partner supporting them! When Moira goes to her friend's wedding, she notices a man she thought was Michael which have her thinking about him. When she gets on the plane to come home, she runs into Michael again and this time will start them on a journey. Moira comes from a dysfunctional family and her views about marriage and relationships come from her upbringing but the more time she spends with Michael the more she falls for him until his ex-starts making waves. Will her behavior drive Moira away. This story had me in their corner to get their chance for happiness.

Moira doesn't believe in happy ending or lasting relationships, and this is because of things she has experienced. On a plane to go to a friend's wedding she gets scared when there's turbulence and takes comfort from a kind stranger. Michael is wary of women after his last relationship, but he is drawn to Moira. Moira couldn't stop thinking about Michael while she was at the wedding and is surprised when he sits next to her on the plane back home. They exchange numbers to stay in touch and slowly things grow between them. Will they take a chance on each other?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

She doesn't believe in marriage, nor trust most men, but a plane flight just might change her mind. Moira and Michael end up seated beside one another, two strangers, but a bit of turbulance changes it, and they seem to have a connection. Although they don't exchange numbers then, it seems fate has plans for them. Assuming the ex doesn't destroy their chance. I loved this beautiful romance, both of them have suffered some heartache before. They both were so easy to love (even though they have money they are down to Earth).

What a good read. It is emotional, intense, exciting, life changing and so much more. They have so many challenges to overcome but persevere through it all. I won't spoil it as it is one you really need to read and I highly recommend it. I really enjoyed it and will read it again. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
