Expanded Roster

A good girl who needs the money, two members of the college baseball team she works for—and her jerk ex-stepbrother—get down for the cameras in this steamy, angsty why choose romance.

In retrospect, putting up a flier advertising that I was planning to lose my v-card on camera—and was looking for a partner—isn’t the best idea I’ve ever had. I’m the Type A one, the person who does all the work on the group project. I’ve never even thought about doing something like this, but I don’t have a choice: I need fast cash so my sister can have the future she deserves.

No one even answers my ad until I’m sitting at an off-campus café, looking over the questions I prepared like this is a job interview—

And he shows up.

I can’t do this. We shouldn’t do this. He’s on the college baseball team that I work for. I could lose my job. He could get cut from the team.

We shouldn’t do this…until we do. And we definitely shouldn’t get his best friend—who might have a crush on me, who might have a crush on him—involved. Or my ex-stepbrother, who’s threatening to take custody of my sister.

And I shouldn’t get involved with them all at once. Suddenly, I’m involved in a group project of an entirely different kind, one that definitely can’t last. I said yes on camera—a lot of yes—but do I have the courage to say yes to my happily ever after?

- why choose
- virgin fmc
- accountant *wink wink*
- sports (baseball)
- stepbrother
- enemies to lovers

I've read a lot of poly/why choose romances, and this one wasn't half bad, but it was definitely overly long.

I really loved the dynamic between Victoria, Mike, and Jonathan, although I wish Mike and Jon's relationship would have been explored a bit more on page. & I honestly would have liked the story more had it just revolved around these three, as I never really warmed up to Tyler's character--and I'm saying that as someone who loves the stepbrother trope. The addition of Tyler to their triad really didn't add anything to what they already had going.

Overall though Expanded Roster was a fun time and definitely spice forward!

Overall, I liked this book a lot. It was undeniably spicy, but it had substance, the relationships between MCs were well developed, there were tender moments, pining and deep feelings. I may be biased, since I love MM romances, but I especially loved the dynamics between Mike and Jonathan (brilliantly done friends-to-lovers trope, and Jon simply stole my heart). The kinkier dynamics between Victoria and Tyler was also superb. Still, as a foursome it could be better, mostly because, IMO, Tyler was introduced a bit too late.

What else didn't work for me is Victoria, the main female character. This girl sometimes drove me crazy. First, I hate unnecessary martyrdom. Second, she has some serious communication issues - she is not talking with her sister, mother, roommates, and not so much with the guys, and sometimes it got really frustrating. In addition, the beginning of the story was a bit shaky, I wasn't convinced that Victoria needs must to start on OF. There were also several times when I had to suspend my disbelief, especially at the end that people were so accepting and understanding, but, oh well, a bit of optimism won't hurt, will it? 3.5/5

Thanks to NetGalley for the eARC.

I am simply gobsmacked. I have no words. I actually have so many but I can’t form them. This book was beyond phenomenal. Expanded Roster is a brilliant work of art. An absolute masterclass in Why Choose/polyam/queer romance/baseball romance. Take your pick, it’s my favourite now.

I was provided an advanced copy of this book by the author, and feel particularly fortunate to have read this ahead of its January 2024 release.

I admit to feeling a little jaded with books about college students but found myself reading a book featuring exactly that, for the most part here. I have to say this is a bright shining rainbow strobe light in college romances.

This is a book where the FMC Victoria is working her heart out with a year of college to finish when she finds out her mother has a hefty tax bill which will impact her sister’s eligibility for tertiary funding. Despite her lack of dating experience she decides to start an OF page, and advertises for a ‘business partner’. Enter Mike, the catcher for the college baseball team who agrees to Victoria’s proposition, knowing full well his baseball bro Jonathon is smitten with Victoria and she’s technically off-limits to both as the equipment manager for the team. The story continues, developing into a why choose including Jonathon, and much later on, Victoria’s ex step-brother Tyler )no biological connection to be clear).

What Aimee Rivkin succeeds in doing with Expanded Roster is to not only give each character quite distinct voices and character arcs, but also write great scenes with these characters collectively that just work. There is so much said but a lot unsaid, as they navigate their evolving relationships with one another individually and collectively. It’s messy, there’s miscommunication and misunderstanding, but so much warmth, connectedness, and simply realising (initially as a triad) they want to be together though for each this comes with a potentially different cost.

Expanded Roster is set against the backdrop of baseball, alot of behind the scenes work involved, the injuries, the road to the draft and the after for those not in contention. Characters experience the ups and downs of social media infamy, college life in general, as well as individual life histories that are as varied as can be. None of the characters seem to set out with the aim of living their dynamic.

If I’ve not said it succinctly, this is a fantastic book, full of growth and learning experiences, where none of the characters have it all figured out, some with life pathways clearer than others. I found myself absolutely wanting everything for them that they wanted, especially when they felt they were undeserving .

What a great introduction to this genre for Aimee Rivkin!

Loved it.

this was aimee’s debut!!!!!!!

we all know that i’m a why choose girly and aimee absolutely murdered it with this!!! she gave us a great plot, baseball, robotics, drama, and SO much more. i cannot wait for everyone to read this!!

victoria, mike, jonathan, and tyler all had such great storylines, both individually and together. there was so much love between all of them <3 i just secretly wish there was more tyler because it would’ve been nice to learn a bit more about him!

also i loved victoria’s mom’s storyline! would pay for a prequel about her

thank you aimee for the arc <33

This book was a very pleasant surprise! I have a bad habit of picking up another book when I'm in the middle of reading another book just because I'm annoying, I guess. So when I got this ARC copy randomly, I decided why the hell not. Let me read a couple of chapters. Well, those couple chapters turned very quickly into the entire book because when I tell you, this book PULLED A GIRL IN.

The story follows: Victoria -- an equipment girl for the college baseball team, Mike and Jonathan -- best friends of 3 years and baseball players on previously stated college baseball team and Tyler -- Victoria's EX step brother who loves to rile everyone up (emphasis on ex if Victoria has anything to say about it). Victoria finds herself in need of funds and fast and decides she'll make an Onlyfans, but first, she needs a partner to help with it!

You do not have to wait long OR AT ALL for the plot to get laid out because it happens near immediately. By chapter 3, we are already getting some rapidly moving momentum, which only increased as each chapter went on.

Mike has a filthy mouth on him and we get to hear lots of it from the get go and Jonathan is an adorable sweetie pie teddy bear baby boy who needs to be cherished forever bc 🥺🥺🥺 and Tyler is a rich boy who just needs someone to dominate him to turn him to putty. Victoria finds her power and confidence as the book goes on, and we can hardly recognize who she is at the end compared to at the start!

Something I appreciated a lot about this book was the surprisingly realistic representation of some of the topics that were presented. From the uncertain and doubting thoughts one may have when realizing perhaps their platonic feelings for a friend may in fact be romantic, to the scary and stressful things that can happen to online sex workers such as receiving cryptic DMs and being harassed, to the effects of chronic pain on one's mental health and self-worth especially when in physically competitive spaces.

There were some things i didn't enjoy:
- We didn't get a lot of scenes with Tyler until maybe the last half of the book, and this made it feel a little rushed for me for his character specifically.
- Editing wise, there was multiple different formatting styles done to visualize texting. There were images of text blurbs, then there were italics, and then there was a typewriter type font. This is super distracting for me personally.
- There was so much miscommunication between Mike, Jonathan, and Victoria for a lot of the book it was frustrating.

Overall, this was a very entertaining read that kept me engaged and that's all I can ask for! I really enjoyed the transformation between Mike and Jonathan into that romantic space and the adoration that all the boys had for Victoria. There were little things that Victoria would do that just made my heart MELT and you'll have to read it to see what I mean but, what a good read! And since I seemed to forget to say so, THIS SHIT WAS HOT AS HELL!

3 ⭐️ Why choose MMFM romance *

This book is not the first I've read of its kind: poly romances, sports romances, queer romances... Name the romance trope, I've probably read it. And all I have to say about this book is that, while it's definitely not an awful book, there are much better poly romances out there.

Still, this book was admittedly really fun to read. This is a 1000% a pleasure read, so I wasn't expecting a revolutionary masterpiece of literature. But there were too many intalove/instalust moments, which are usually not a problem for me, but the fact that one of the mmcs in this MMFM romance doesn't actually interact with all the rest of the mcs until about three-quarters of the way into the book is not ok to me. It felt lacking and empty in a sense that didn't sit quite well. Especially since this particular mmc is the one that tries to carry the whole ex-stepbrother, 'enemies-to-lovers' vibe. Him and the fmc get over their issues basically by ignoring them and banging them out, which I'm sure it's a great system... It's also just toxic af, and not really something I'm interested in or like to read about.

That being said, the MM relationship in the book is really cute, even if it's not all that explored on page (or at least not as much as I personally would've liked). This book is mostly carried by the smutty scenes and the fact that the FMC really just wants to be an OF star after 'selling her virginity' basically-which also wasn't my favourite thing. No shame to sex workers at all, but the whole 'virgin-to-OF content creator' felt weird and way too surreal, even for an obviously fictional smut book.

I don't know if I'd recommend this book to someone who is just starting to read poly/ reverse harem books, but it's a trope that you have already explored and loved, maybe this book could be for you!

🌶🌶🌶🌶/ 5 - Spicewise, this book is steamy! Like -omg, are we in a sauna rn- kind of steamy... The smut is good; not the best I've read, but definitely not the worst either. It's sweet and, like I said before, pretty instalove-y which made the whole thing kind of wholesome... even if they're literally making and selling s3x tapes lol.

* And, of course, thank you so much NetGalley for providing me with this eARC!!

SPICE : 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Well hello Aimee! I love a great why choose, especially when it’s sports centric, and this one delivered on so so many of the things I love about books like this! It was angsty, the characters were well developed and I loved how the different relationships unfolded! I’m always a sucker for the golden retriever of the bunch and Jonathan was my absolute fave!

TROPES ⬇️
✨ Baseball Romance
✨🎥 Spicy Videos
✨ Black Cat/ Golden Retriever
✨ Pitcher and Catcher MMCs
✨ Bi- Awakening ⚔️
✨ Forbidden Relationship
✨ ex- Stepbrother MMC
✨ Angst and Pining

Victoria is a college student that is in dire financial straits and decides to start an OF account to make money. When she seeks out a partner, Mike the baseball catcher is the one to answer the add. Victoria and Mike complicate things further when they both realize their feelings for the star Pitcher Jonathan. And add in Victoria’s alpahole step-brother to the mix and things get very interesting, very quick!

This book has so many layers, but let me tell you what I liked the most! I loved how baseball was integrated into this and the relationship between Jon and Mike was my absolute favorite part. I love men figuring out their feelings for each other and navigating that. I also really liked Victoria and Tyler’s relationship and how that grew and changed throughout the story.

The group scenes were spicy as heck and just absolutely fantastic ( hello jersey scene) and I enjoyed the angst as everyone tried to figure out how to make a four person relationship work. Jon and his optimism stole the book for me and I wanted even more of this group and wasn’t ready to say goodbye!

Thanks Aimee for the Arc, my opinions are my own!

All the angst! Oh my, I think it’s been a really long time since I read a book with this level of drama and tension. It’s obvious that a foursome wasn’t gonna work perfectly since the beginning, but oh wow. My heart felt so squeezed. Taking into account that everyone has a past with everyone in this novel, the feelings were guaranteed.

My most repeated thought while reading was “why choose indeed”, because whew! Jonathan, Mike and Tyler were so different but I really loved all of them, and of course I loved Victoria. I wanted to protect her from every single bad thing. Though, I gotta be honest, if I had to chooooose… Tyler 🫠, why do I always have a weak spot for heroes like him!?

If you’re wondering if this foursome is everyone with everyone, yes! This is very queer! Mike and Jonathan were so cute together. I think their relationship was the most angsty part of the book. I melted when Jonathan finally understood his feelings for Mike. I think every relationship within the relationship was perfectly explored. Sometimes why choose romances can feel a bit underdeveloped, but not this time. The lenght of the book is justified and it was never boring, and you all know how much I hate it when books are long for no reason. This time, with the complexity of their relationship, a short book would have been a mess.

This was an awesome debut. I can’t wait to read what Aimee does next, though she said yesterday in her stories that Savannah is getting a book so I am extra pumped!

I got an ARC copy of this book to write an honest review.

Two best friends/teammates + their equipment girl + her ex-stepbrother = Expanded Roster

This was a very interesting read 😁 and it's a huge roller coaster 😱
Victoria needs a lot of money and soon. The only possible solution she finds is losing her V-card in front of a camera 😎 But she needs a guy for it. That's why she puts a flyer on the student union bulletin board. Such a crazy idea 🙈 And sure someone she knows answers her. Not just that she knows this person, it's a person she isn't allowed to date, so $ex isn't allowed too.
It happens so much in this book and I don't know what I can tell you without spoiling it all 🙈
One thing is for sure, this book is VERY open-door 🔥🌶️
The guys are all so cute 😍 When Jonathon and Mike realized that they loved each other since they met 😍 And even the a**hole Tylor isn't that much an a**hole that he tries to let everyone know 😁

Hello, this is my book! I started this book by sliding into a friend's DMs and going, "I wouldn't write a why choose romance... ha ha ha,,, unless..."

Then this book grabbed me and wouldn't let me go. I truly had a great time writing it — and truly love all of the characters (including the ones I love to hate) — and I hope you have as good a time reading it.

I am an indie author and this is my debut in the genre, so appreciate all y'all who take the time to read and review. <3 Enjoy!

(And I might have some fun surprises coming on release day. Stay tuned!)

Victoria starts with a bold (and not really thoroughly planned out) idea. But she needs cash. I mean, who doesn't make some bad choices when there are no other options available? So she makes a drastic decision to try to keep her situation upright. I enjoyed this why-choose sports romance.

ARC BOOK REVIEW

I really loved this book. It was such a good why choose romance! I don't know much about baseball, but reading Expanded Roaster and seeing Mike and Jonathan playing it, it sure makes me want to know more. Thank you so much, Aimee, for giving me an ARC copy of Expanded Roaster. It could not have been any better in my mind.

The book follows Victoria who finds herself in a predicament where the only way she can see herself making alot of money that she needs is putting her viginity on camera, so she creates a flyer and gets a response only to know who messaged her when they meet, and so they make an arrangement to start up an only fans account.

This book is super steamy and just full of spicy scenes! In Expanded Roaster, there is also Mike and Jonathan, who are both baseball players and best friends and have secretly had feelings for one another since when they met. I loved these two so so much, and I'm so glad that everything worked out for them perfectly. I really enjoyed the plot of the story so much, and it played out very well.

I loved Aimee's writing, and I was hooked from the very first page. And I loved the fact that she threw in a fourth member of Victoria, Mike and Jonathan's little relationship, and that happened to be Victoria's ex-stepbrother Tyler. Tyler was not particularly a nice and friendly character when we meet him throughout the book, but when things heat up between him and Victoria, I started to see the real him peaking through and I loved him instantly.

Seeing their harem come together was just everything to read, and I just need to see more of them in the future and how everything ends up working! I can't wait to see what else this author writes, and I will definitely be reading whatever it is.

Thank you to Onsub Press & NetGalley for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.

Woah baby, did I start the new year out with a bang reading this book! Incredibly sexy, it draws you right in, and all characters you’ll fall in love with. This was also my first “why choose” romance and Aimee set the bar so high for it, I don’t think anything will EVER top this trope for me!

Victoria is a junior in college, and she also works as the equipment girl for her college baseball team. But even so, she needs money and a lot of it. She has a brilliant idea to film her first time having sex on camera to stream on onlyfans to make some quick cash; and advertises looking for a partner to do this with. Except the person who shows up is Mike from the baseball team. They shouldn’t do this because fraternizing isn’t allowed on the team, but they decide to go for it anyways. As it starts to feel like a relationship between the two of them, another baseball teammate Jonathan confronts them, and he ends up in bed with them too. You might think three would be a crowd… but it’s not. Everything is going perfectly for them until someone on campus recognizes Victoria and outs all of them on the campus Reddit page. Will Mike and Jon’s budding baseball careers be able to handle this blow? Can the three of them weather this storm together? Will Victoria need to leave school after all this is spread around campus? And most shocking, what happens when Victorias ex fake step brother finds out about all of this and wants to join in too? Is it possible everyone here can get a happily ever after?

Just do yourself a favor and pick up the book, I promise you will be obsessed and day dreaming about baseball bros forever!

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.
All thoughts and opinions are my own

I absolutely loved this book, from the start I was hooked. Victoria is a smart independent woman and she does everything she can for her sister even if she's nervous and or of her comfort zone. The fact that she was smart about it was great to, sometimes strong smart female characters seem to have all brainsells abandon them when they see some nice abs. She blurred faces, tattoos, did std testing, be safe was a main rule for them from the start. I think that was my favorite part, besides seeing her really come into herself and go for what she wants by telling these men what to do. The laughing during the sex was such a real detail to add that most authors don't include.
The fact that Jon and Mike were attracted to one another for the entire time and both kept their mouths shut baffled me, years and they never acted on it!?! I enjoyed that Victoria pushed them gently toward eachother. She's the real hero of the story. The on page chemistry was of the charts between all of them, i love that there was history between them and not just "oh he/she's sexy i want to fuck her/ him now". The instant attraction can be a good trope but its so much deeper when they get to know eachother at least a bit. I was honestly so relieved when Tyler turned out to not be a total dick, the whole rich jerk thing is very overdone.

Overall I loved this book and would say everyone should read it!

When Victoria needs money so that her younger sister can go to college, she starts an OnlyFans account. When she posts a flier on her own college campus seeking a partner in her endeavor, she's surprised when Mike, the catcher for their college baseball team, shows up. As one of the clubhouse equipment managers, she's seen him around, but there is a strict no fraternization policy--and it doesn't help that Mike's teammate and best friend Jonathan seems to have a crush on her. After posting videos and earning money, their business partnership begins to involve more than the two of them... enter Jonathan... then Victoria's ex-step-brother, Tyler....

Most polyamorous novels are considered, well, pure smut. Particularly when they involve other "taboo" tropes, like virginity and step-siblings. But this book is incredibly well-written, well-thought-out, and ultimately well done. That's not to say it's not spicy--it is, very much so--but it also does have a plot, and a good one at that. It's on the longer side for a romance novel, but it almost has to be to lay the foundation for three romantic partners. I probably could have done without Tyler, who almost seemed like a toss-in addition at the last minute, but I didn't hate his existence either. If you're looking for an unconventional, steamy read with a dash of sports romance and LGBTQ positivity thrown in, this is a great option to pick up.

Thanks to the author for my eARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

3.5-3.75⭐️’s - while the premise of the book felt haphazard, given most people wouldn’t immediately go to “sex work” to fulfill debts that parents brought upon their family. Personally, I’d likely find another job at the minimum, if not find a loophole for my parents to fill out a FAFSA form or at another above minimum effort by trying to negotiate with the tax department for payments or debt reduction despite non-payment, to allow my sibling to get grants and/or scholarships. The American government, generally speaking as well as in reference to taxes and the higher education system is a complicated mess of bureaucracy. And most people don’t know how to navigate that mess. I certainly don’t, but I’d learn before opening an OF.

That said, the FMC seemed like she had most of things covered with exception to a 5 second (or less) clip where a tattoo wasn’t covered. And the money sounded easy, and feasible during the timeframe needed… while honestly the type of money they earned isn’t at all normal for OF from what I’ve read in articles… but that’s besides the point.

I do like the overall group they formed. I wish Tyler came in sooner so there wasn’t a lingering resentment from his past actions, which makes his piece in the puzzle a little awkward… but from what his personality went from and to once in the group, I hope he doesn’t revert into his past self.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review

I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)
-mmfm NA open poly knot
-sports romance
-former step brother
-friends to lovers
-this is just a hookup
-forbidden romance
-queer rep
-sword crossing

I saw Esther screaming about this one so I knew I had to snatch it up and it delivered. Sex positive sex worker rep, Victoria needs money so decides to set up an OnlyFans account. In comes Mike who agrees to help her, experiencing his own money problems. Add in his best friend and secret crush Jonathan and suddenly they're onto something. I loved how low angst this was as they fell into a polyamorous relationship, Mike and Jonathan accepting their feelings for each other.

I loved the seperate character arcs of each character, yet intertwined they were, sex positive and queer and a great amount of steam as they figured things out. Add in Tyler, Victoria's former step brother who is a secretly not such an asshole. As Victoria figured out her family dynamics and the secret softness of her relationship with Tyler

This was just fun, steamy and has me so excited to read whatever Aimee writes next..

A reverse harem romance that is spicy, spicy, spicy, spicy and it's nice! It's actually a sweet romance with a bit of angst and a whole lotta spice! A college aged virgin who needs cash fast does the only thing she can, sell her virginity, but ends up gaining cash and love! It sounds more nefarious than it is and it ends up being a fun read that has all the consent as well as all the fun. There are no forced activities or harm done to anyone, well other than to a stalker, but a stalker should feel a bit of consequence for their actions, right!?! The men of the harem are all respectful of the woman who centers them and eventually becomes respectful if not loving of each other. If you need a happily ever after, you'll get that here as well! This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be seeking out more books from them as soon as they write more!

OMG the steam.🔥 I read this book in one sitting. The characters are absolutely delightful. Victoria has to make money quickly and decides losing her v card on onlyfans is the way to go. She enlists one of the schools baseball players as a partner, but he is best friends (and has a crush on) another player that happens to have a crush on Victoria. She also has an ex-stepbrother (who fits into the group, how? That would be a spoiler). Anyway, there is MF, MMF, MM, MMFM and it is all hot. But also the writing is fun and while there is angst, it is with the world not between the characters so much. And of course there is an HEA, which I always find extra sweet in contemporary why choose rom coms. We all know the world can be cruel, and letting this group have a sweet ending, well it just makes me smile (also whew it’s hot). I was given an ARC

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

Here’s me again reviewing another debut author, as I often find myself trying new authors. This book was more than a solid effort and in some ways was more than I expected. There are four points of view in the book and it was an effortless transition from one to the next and I appreciated that, as multiple POVs are a favorite of mine.

The book opens with Victoria. She is a college student and takes on everything. With demanding courses, she also works for the baseball team and tries to be everything to her younger sister and fill in the gaps that their mother leaves.

I absolutely loved this story!

Victoria needs money and posts an ad for someone to film OF content with. Mike accepts the job without knowing it was her. She works for the baseball team he plays for and his best friend/teammate has a crush on her! They decide to film and keep it a secret. Once Jonathan gets involved, it’s an MMF romance. Add in an ex stepbrother, Tyler, and it gets even messier!

Yes, it's a why choose with an OF angle. Yes, it's hot.
But it's also surprisingly tender and soft and swoony and so goddamn angsty I had to put it down every so often and take a walk.
The characters are real and complex. The relationship between Jonathan and Mike is the sweetest, coziest slowburn. Victoria's character arc is fascinating to see. And even Tyler gets redemption and I love to see it.
Admittedly, I haven't read a lot of why choose, but this was a breath of fresh air for me and one of my favorite reads this year.

I was super surprised with how good this story turned out. While I don’t typically read why choose because of how messy they can get this one was done nicely. I thought the characters were all pretty good but I did feel Tyler should have gotten more time in the story to get to know him. I also feel I have more of a fondness for Victoria and Mike just because we spend a lot of time in the book with them together. Overall, this was a pretty quick read that had lots of spicy moments but also some really cute moments between the characters.

Spice… all the spice! I really enjoyed this book! It pulled me in and I actually read it in like 2 or 3 sittings. It’s has some issues and I did feel like some plot lines didn’t get enough attention or started too late, but it was a genuinely fun read! My biggest pet peeve was that it was set in San Diego (where I grew up) and felt very much like it was written by someone who has either never been to San Diego. I probably wouldn’t have even noticed if it wasn’t my hometown, though, so not a true negative, it just pulled me out of the story every now and then.

I generally don't read college-set romances, and I should probably stick to that, but I saw a lot of people recommending this one so I went for it. It was a fun plot, but lacking depth, which I am realizing is becoming a problem for me lately. I don't mind light when I'm in the right mood, but I'm clearly not in the mood right now. Several of the characters and relationships would have benefitted from more intense examination. Definitely requires some suspension of disbelief around certain plot points, but has some nice emotional beats near the end.

The first half of this was great, the second half mostly dealt with the consequences of their choices and while that was necessary it didn't make for the most enjoyable reading. Especially when the final resolution felt a little too easily solved.

Still, I enjoyed Victoria, Mike and Jon a lot. I thought their various dynamics worked well and surprising to no one, I liked that Mike and Jon fully got to explore their relationship. Tyler was fine, but I could have done without him tbh.

Overall, fun but a bit frustrating. 3.5 stars.

This was my first Why Choose, and what a doozy! I loved the story, the characters, the baseball, the steam, and the fact that all the dudes wear gray sweatpants. Honestly, what could you want more from a book?!
