It had a lot of potential and all of went down the drain. I am convinced that MC never actually ended up liking ML, cause it went out of nowhere and he continued cursing him in his mind even after he was supposedly in love? Nothing was properly concluded, it is just a hot mess

No me gustó nada.
La historia acaba con ambos "enamorados" cuando no había razón para tal cosa ya que el "CEO" solo era un contreras que al enterarse que su "amado" en realidad no lo amaba lo quiso retener a la fuerza y al final dice "arrepentirse" de todo lo malo que hizo antes pero en realidad solo hace las cosas peor y no se nota en ningún lado el que se arrepintiera.
El MC dice al final estar enamorado cuando en realidad solo sentía una atracción y podía terminar teniendo una mejor vida por su cuenta, en especial al saber que tenía un respaldo mejor de lo que él mismo sabía.
Pareciera el que sitema los obligó a "estar enamorado" y no que realmente fuera algo que ellos sintieran; ambos podrían haberlo hecho mejor al separse y vivir sus vidas como quisiera en lugar de decir que estaban felices juntos y que con su amor harían a sus familiar felices y se vengarían de los que habían tratado mal al MC.
La historia empezó bien pero terminó en semejantes tonterias, no lo recomiendo para nada.

It had all the potential to be a good read based on the premise. But there’s no chemistry between the main couple. I hated that the ML was surprised the MC hated him—after ignoring him for three years, treating him like air, and spending all his time with the White Lotus without even realizing that guy had feelings for him. I wanted to see the ML suffer a bit, slowly realize what the White Lotus truly was, and gradually fall for the MC—but that didn’t happen. Disappointing.
